Reydi watched as the carriage drove out of view. He turned around and looked at Sam with a complicated expression. Im in love he said suddenly. Sam laughed i can see your completely smitten Eli is something special he said but in his eyes flashed a look of envy and sadness but only for a moment and it was gone before Reydi could notice. I need to see her again cried Reydi his heart felt like it would beat out of his chest. He never felt such longing for someone. He wanted to just be near her he could stare at that smile all day.

My lord inturrupted Robinson the Duke Aldon And Duchess Priscilla have just arrived. Sam furrowed his brows and Reydi had a sour expression. Why are those two here asked Sam looking at Reydi. I dont know but its not anything good of that you can be certain said Reydi.

A carriage pulled up and the door opened slowly. A short thick women stepped out. She wore a purple dress with a stunning matching hat. She wore a beautiful necklace that made her look delicate.She had lightly tanned skin and black curly hair. Her eyes were the strangest grey color giving her the appearance of a porcelain china doll.

Behind her a short fat young man dressed in a dashing expensive suit stepped off with a cane. Reydi put on a smile when he saw Priscilla. He immediately placed a kiss on her hand Priscilla you look stunning as usual. She smiled clearly pleased with the complement. Thank you Reydi your charming as ever. What are you doing here he asked. You would have to speak to my cousin about that. Reydi turned to Aldon who was walking towards them. What brings you all the way here Aldon your not one to travel far said Reydi mockingly.

Aldon sneered Im here on behalf of father to take care of some buisness and investments. Father is to busy so he sent me. Reydi looked at him and smiled how long will you be staying? Im not sure it depends on how everything goes hopefully no more than a few months exclaimed Aldon. I brought my cousin along for company. Is that so why dont i believe you? said Reydi he didnt trust Aldon. Aldon was the second oldest of the Porter Family and was spoiled and was involved in all types of shady dealings. Priscilla was the youngest and only daughter of Aldons fathers twin sister. She was just as spoiled and arrogant. She was only kind to a few close friends. They bagan to argue back and forth like children.

Sam walked away slowly and Priscilla followed making her way behind him as well. They discreetly walked away enough distance to not be heard. What are you really doing here? asked Sam. Do you think this will change anything? I have to try she whispered. But Why? asked Sam. She looked at Sam holding back tears. Love will always make you do crazy things. This is not Love and you know it.You can’t force love thats not how it works. Sam please she said with sad eyes dont treat me this way. Sam looked at her and took a deep breath he closed his eyes and when he opened them the look he had was of pity Im sorry he whispered but it hurts to see how pathetic you’ve become. Sam wait cried Priscilla but he had walked away. His words pierced her heart like a knife. Why couldn’t he understand? She had never been denied anything and was not about to start allowing it now.
