I Will Save The Princess - Chapter 38
To Take The Initiative (4)
The Duke looked at the Emperor with a calm face and raised both hands in the air.
The Emperor’s eyes, watching the Duke, slowly turned to the knife in his hand. Looking at the dessert knife gently, he casually threw the knife towards the pond as if he had no regrets.
With his gaze fixed on his empty palm, the Emperor muttered in an annoyed tone.
“The mood is ruined. Go away.”
A low voice that was tinged with frustration.
At this moment, Hannah didn’t know what he might do if provoked. Goosebumps formed in the back of her neck as if her body remembered the voice very well.
Hannah swallowed and gave the Duke a worried look. The Duke stood up calmly, nodded, and turned around.
When the sound of footsteps had disappeared, only the Emperor, Hannah, and the two Royal Guards remained.
‘…Sh!t.’
Hannah never imagined that the atmosphere would explode in such a short time.
As she stood in her seat and couldn’t help but wiggle her hands, Hannah heard the Emperor’s voice again.
“Sit down.”
The Emperor gave the order with his eyes fixed on the pond with a sullen face.
The emotionless, subdued voice added more confusion, but what should she do?
If she sat, she felt like he would stab her to death with that fork.
Hannah obediently followed his words. As Hannah sat quietly, the Emperor turned his gaze to her.
His arms crossed and his head tilted sideways gave off a strange feeling. Every time she looked at him, she couldn’t help but think he was truly a beautiful man, but his words and actions were so ruthless and deadly that even his appearance couldn’t cover it up.
It would be nice if she could just go back quietly like this. Hannah bit her lower lip and waited for the Emperor’s next words.
He looked up at Hannah and licked his lips.
“Hannah Torrens.”
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
Responding with a reflexive smile, the Emperor slightly opened his eyes and spoke.
‘Is he telling me to come back at night again? Or is he telling me to leave? Just tell me to leave too!’
It was a brief moment, but Hannah worked her brain at full speed and guessed what he would say next. But what he said next was completely unexpected.
“Try to smile. Like earlier.”
His sudden words caught Hannah off guard, and she blinked, staring at him blankly.
Smile? Like earlier?
Hannah didn’t know what he meant. Because she was already smiling at him, naturally, she raised the corner of her mouth again and smiled even deeper.
“Your Majesty, I am smiling right now.”
The Emperor furrowed his brow and let out a small laugh.
He squinted his eyes and looked her up and down. Even without saying it, she could tell he was treating her like an idiot.
“Don’t you understand what I mean by ‘smile like earlier’?”
“Even if you say so… .”
‘Please explain it properly.’
Looking at him puzzled, the Emperor let out a small sigh and glanced at Hannah. Beneath the straight red eyelashes, her embarrassed face was reflected in even redder eyes.
The Emperor stretched out his hand towards Hannah. His fingers lazily touched the corner of her eye, slowly moving down to her cheek.
“I am annoyed. Are you stupid, or are you pretending to be stupid?”
Contrary to what he said, the fingers that ran down her cheeks were infinitely friendly and warm. Desire began to seep into the eyes that were looking at her.
Hannah thought she was used to it, but she was wrong. She couldn’t get used to those bright red eyes full of greed.
No. It’s difficult when you get used to it.
Hannah cautiously held the finger that was caressing her cheek. With her eyes closed, she muttered in a low voice with sincerity.
“Please… don’t do this, Your Majesty.”
“Don’t do what?”
His thumb pressed firmly against my finger.
“You, who dare to command me like this, are the only one in this vast palace.”
Hannah suppressed a moan and withdrew her hand.
Useless power. Hannah bit her teeth and glanced at the Royal Guards standing outside.
“Uh, umm, I’m not the only one here. There are Royal Guards…”
“Cedric.”
Cutting off her words, the Emperor called a name.
As the Emperor glanced at the Royal Guards, who raised their heads, they quietly moved into the garden. The Emperor, who looked at them with a bored face, put all his fingers up and continued caressing Hannah’s cheeks as the Royal Guards soon disappeared.
Big hands that seemed to cover her whole face. His thumb was gently stroking her eyes.
“It’s only you now.”
‘…If only the dessert knife thrown into the pond was in my hand now.’
Knowing that it would be useless, Hannah put her hand on the back of the Emperor’s hand again. She tried to remove his hand, but her fingers trembled so much that she couldn’t muster any strength. The Emperor seemed to find the gesture funny, and let out a low laugh.
“What are you trembling so much about? Do you think I’ll eat you or something?”
“Yes. I wonder what would happen if Your Majesty did that.”
Hannah bit her lower lip slightly, and the Emperor let out a wry smile. He swiftly turned his hand and pulled me into his arms. Her defenceless body was drawn into his embrace in an instant.
He lowered his head and gently pressed his forehead against hers, whispering in a barely audible voice.
“Listen carefully. I am in a very bad mood right now.”
“…”
“So you’d better stay still.”
Without waiting for an answer, the Emperor’s hand raised his hands. He grabbed Hannah by the waist and sat her on his thighs. A satisfied expression came over his face, and she averted her gaze. But immediately, a large hand grabbed her chin.
The gentle touch that lifted her chin was familiar. Just as their lips were about to touched, Hannah pushed the Emperor’s chest with a face that looked like she was about to cry.
“Please… Your Majesty, if we do this outside, uh, we can’t.”
“But it sounds like you’re saying it’s okay inside.”
Between each word he spoke, Hannah felt his hot breath. Without a moment to think, their lips touched.
They lightly touched, pressed firmly, and their lips moved silently. As their lips parted slightly, she made a small sound, and his teeth gently pressed against her lower lip. The feel of his hot tongue coming between her parted lips was dizzying. A moan escaped her lips.
“Uh, annng…”
His mouth muffled her moan. Hannah felt suffocated, so she put her hand on his chest. However, the Emperor’s hand grabbed her wrist and pulled it down. The forced kiss that seemed to suck all the inside of her mouth made her eyes wet before she knew it.
‘Ah, seriously…!’
With her eyes closed, Hannah bit down hard on his lips.
“…!”
The Emperor furrowed his eyebrows and forcefully pulled his lips away.
A small drop of blood dripped from his red lips. Hannah breathed heavily and glared at the Emperor.
“Ah.”
The Emperor ran his thumb over her lower lip and then looked at the blood stains on his fingers. His furrowed brow loosened, and his eyes widened slightly.
“I thought nagging was your speciality, but it seems you’re up to something interesting.”
Hannah had expected him to be angry, but the Emperor turned his face to her blankly. She suppressed her fear and stammered out the words.
“O-Outside… Here is where the Princess is, Your Majesty.”
“So?”
“So? If the Princess sees us…!”
Locard tilted his head to the side and raised the corners of his mouth slightly. A sarcastic smirk leaked from his lips.
“Do you see any problem? There is no need to keep it a secret.”
“Your Majesty’s sense of ethics is truly… unique.”
Hannah barely held back the urge to curse him out.
The Emperor seemed like he was testing the limits of her patience as if he was a person sent by the heavens to measure it. Even the heavens seem indifferent.
Hannah quickly got up from her seat without waiting for an answer. His hand tried to grab her wrist, but hers moved faster.
Hannah hurriedly moved to the other side of the table and spoke calmly.
“If you wish, I will be more than willing to meet you at your Palace anytime. But here… my duty is to serve the Princess. Please refrain from inappropriate behaviour that would not be good her education.”
The Emperor looked up at Hannah without saying a word. Only the red eyes beneath his half-lowered eyelashes flickered as if they were the only living part of his stoic expression.
A bright smile was overlaid on his rigid expression.
“I hold the authority over your duties. Don’t you know that this is the Imperial Palace?”
“Your Majesty.”
“Don’t keep provoking me. Because I want to kill you.”
A husky bass sound that sounds like singing. He slightly lowered his eyes, then raised again to look at her again.
It was a gentle face, but Hannah very well knew it wasn’t from the inside. The moment she lowered her head in fear, she heard the next words as if he had waited enough.
“Come on.”
There was an irresistible sense of intimidation in his deep voice. If she refused, he was really going to kill her. Despite clenching her teeth, Hannah had no means to resist him right now.
With her head bowed, she stood before him as if being led. She could see her trembling hands in the corner of my eye.
‘Please, I wish the Emperor would just disappear from my face like this.’
His pale, large hands reached into her field of vision and grabbed her both wrists. Holding them gently but with a strong grip, he pulled them down. Hannah resisted for a moment, but it was futile. She ended up falling to her knees on the floor.
‘…No, it won’t happen. I refuse.’
He slowly spread his legs as he sat in the chair. There was a clicking sound along with the rustling of fabric.
Then, his hand lifted her chin. His savage member was revealed between the loosened lower legs. Above it, Hannah saw the Emperor’s face smiling beautifully.
“Do you know what you should do?”
She moved her trembling hands and clenched her fists.
To bleed.
