IDLE Database - Chapter 94
That night, with only the Guardian Ant cut down by the Spider Champion, Aldrin healed himself and the injured Dimensional Clones as soon as he returned from the now-sealed Dungeon to continue his quest in conquering the Lower Dimension.
Because of the severity of their wounds or perhaps because of how strong the bodies of the Dimensional Clones became, the former 5 IDLE Points per heal changed to 50 IDLE Points. However, with his overabundance of points after the completion of the first Spider Dungeon, he didn’t think twice to use it. He could earn the same amount in no time, after all.
Furthermore, with the thought of filling up the Idle Storage with more corpses so he could keep the 8x furnace booster on for 24 hours, every insect he ran into on his way to the second Dungeon for the night weren’t spared.
Luckily for him, he hadn’t run into another Spider Champion outside. If he did, Aldrin was determined to escape as soon as he was spotted by it.
He’s still clear about the difference in strength between them. He had more strength before he could challenge it.
By the time he left the Lower Dimension an hour later, he successfully entered the 2nd Broodmother’s Cradle and killed the first area boss by exploiting the detection range for a second time. That poor Spider Sentinel also became the test spot for him to use the second Grade 2 Weapon he received.
The Obsidian Blaster.
It’s a gray pistol that was reminiscent of an old era model called the Desert Eagle.
Like his current pistol, its ammo was being charged into its magazine through funneling in refined energy or even raw Dimensional Energy.
Being a Grade 2 Weapon, the Obsidian Blaster offers a longer range as well as higher bullet speed, firing speed and penetrating power.
One bullet from it was enough to drill a baseball-sized hole into the Spider Sentinel’s body. Due to that kind of firepower, it didn’t take long for him to kill it.
With that, Aldrin earned more than close to 20,000 IDLE Points in that one run. The highest amount he earned in one run.

Days quickly passed in the Training Camp and the final day for Metadome Lessons arrived. After leaving the Lower Dimension that night, Aldrin ultimately decided to make the middle-aged man named Carlos a challenge for him to overcome.
The man failed to recognize him even when he was assigned to be the guest Energy Refiner for their group. And like he had guessed, the man played into his role as a humble, older Energy Refiner that the trainees could even run to for advice after the lessons.
To make sure that he’s aware of what the man was doing, Aldrin continued to use his Dimensional Clone to spy on him every night. Except for that night where he found out the man’s identity, Carlos never showed any unusual behavior anymore.
Still, Aldrin couldn’t afford to be careless around the man. He still feared another abrupt opening of a Dimensional Rift.
Using that lingering threat in his mind to push himself to quickly get stronger through the help of the IDLE Database.
And now that the last day of the Metadome Lesson arrived, he’s left with two remaining Dungeons to close, lifting the conquest progress to 90%. One from the Royal Ant side and one from the Black Spider side.
As the lairs and cradles continued to be sealed every time he finished the Dungeon using the hidden mechanics he discovered, the number of ants and spiders dwindled over time.
Nonetheless, that didn’t lower his IDLE Point gains. Since the hegemony of the two dominant insects weakened, the other insects that were part of the minority left their territories and occupied the territories previously occupied by the ants and spiders.
They thought they became freed from being oppressed by the two, but Aldrin just turned them into a new source of IDLE Points and corpses to melt into Essences.
“Ah! Aldrin, good morning!”
One more thing that changed for him from the past few days, after giving Irina that advice to get a boyfriend to stop Clark from being that obnoxious, the girl actually took up his advice and firmly decided that it was truly the way to go.
However, she didn’t want to commit to a relationship hastily. That’s why the girl returned to Aldrin to ask for a favor. A favor for him to act as her boyfriend.
And that led him to this current situation in front of him.
Irina started waiting in front of his door, her beautiful smile welcoming him every morning.
“Good morning. But Irina, I told you, you don’t need to do this when Clark isn’t even looking. There’s no reason for us to act.”
At first, Aldrin thought of turning her down.
First, it’s a hassle. Second, he already thought that he’s doing enough on advising the two as the ‘oldest guy’ in their group.
However, Clark, despite Aldrin faithfully dropping hints and pieces of advice for the guy about what he needed to do to capture the girl’s eyes or heart, continued antagonizing him even to his littlest of blunders.
Aldrin could be considerate, but naturally, there’s always an end to someone’s patience. It’s never unlimited. He couldn’t just stand idly being ridiculed at every turn.
And because of that, he accepted Irina’s favor of becoming her ‘acting’ boyfriend for the entire duration of the Training Camp.
Perhaps thinking that her womanly charm wasn’t enough to entice Aldrin, the girl offered him compensation in the form of Federation Credit. It’s a staggering amount that’s enough to pay for half of the needed Credits for the Awakening Procedure for his sister.
And upon hearing how much the girl has to offer, Aldrin was naturally surprised.
To think the girl would offer that amount just for being a ‘fake lover’. That goes to show how much the girl wanted Clark to stop at what he’s doing…
“I know that. But seeing you being flustered every time cheers me up.” Irina giggled before doing what she always does, clinging to Aldrin’s arm.. “You’re my boyfriend until this training camp ends. Isn’t it just fair for me to make use of that chance to try and make you truly fall for me?”
