If The Moon Can Be Counted As A Star - Chapter 30
“Help!” She screamed silently inside her mind, there was no one else but her. She just knew that she, herself was day dreaming as a shadow.
After Xiao Mei Zhi finished taking a relaxing shower, she wiped her neck with a face towel then tap the remaining moist on her face, then casually took a final look at the rectangular bathroom mirror and then left the shower area.
The day dreaming juncture has been fallen, that random spacing out dispersed, but how long was she doing that? She can not count it. Either way she just breathed a sigh of remedy. It was also close to thirteen minutes and she made everyone wait for her outside the room, so she left straight to the closet. As she grab any pants, shirt, underwear, a late thought came to her, those kids that caused her to bring back an awful memory did not even said ‘Sorry.’ Disrespectful.
“Why is she not out yet?” Muckbuckle was not a patient gnome, he was loud and straight up to throw questions and whoever answers it will be in a heated pad.
Xiao Mei Zhi was done putting her clothes on, without any expression she opened up her door. The two kids bowed at her, “Sorry. We did not mean to.” However, she ignored them.
“Xiao Mei, when do you think that you have a time to act like this? I know you are not happy being here, but do not include this innocent kids. Do not be tough to them.”
She lazily laid her eyes on the two kids and harshly said, “They are not real kids, are they?” She waited, and waited for Doctor Frei to slap her, or possibly Doctor Gmeis to say something bad, including the gnome they said. She wanted herself gone.
But it became quite.
“Let’s go kids. Do not listen to that uneducated human child.” Muckbuckle broke the stillness and encouraged the youngsters toward the stairs.
And she can see that there were only a few people walking, leaving the substantial empty ground in the first foundation of the house. Where are the spare tenancies?
She enabled herself to think twice, if she goes out there was no turning back and if she would not go, there will be no changes.
Fortunately for her, there was a delay. Doctor Gmeis got a phone call from a client and she was ask to wait for her in the lobby, while Doctor Frei talked with his people. So as a mortal, she slumped aside and loitered quietly for both of the doctors to complete the chitchat they partook.
She faced on the east, holding the arm of the chair while the afternoon rays shone abundantly clear. Its radiance expressed on the fresh, watered green plants through the cosmetic horse figure lamp.
“Mother.” Her voice was polished in conversing with chinese, still , it was not lovely even if it attained in an even way from the far side of her thin, attractive lips, “It was not a good start for us Mother. That moment we entered the hospital.”
She walked instead of sitting down, a form of her pitiful shadow fiddled across her expression when she strolled on the glow.
She was growing, not in a mature kind of path. Adorable, however, she has a sharp character. Strong from the outside, yet she was regardless a deserted youth from the inside. She seemed unguarded, like even being surrounded with an unusual people on the resident she could just further show off that she was new.
Then a limited jiffies later, she heard a group of people gossiping about her. She had never cared about it. But, she had to admit that it was making her anxiety expand. Even if she had been holding it for a month, she should have been excused with her self by now but sometimes, she would just let it flow, even if it was having a major effect.
Xiao Mei Zhi was not even aware that she was wearing a pair of blue skinny jeans, white shirt. She took her index finger towards her lower lip, thinking of biting it. In addition, her throat was running out of saliva, she gulped making her larynx rolled slightly along with a considerable distance from her neck, it was a reminder of her well-known female hormones.
“Tiny cactus, it is time to go.”
Xiao Mei Zhi lowered of her hand smartly and had the atmosphere of a beggar dressed like a leader as she looked at Doctor Gmeis. She did not said a word about what was going on and soon as Doctor Frei followed them, he looked at her but he did not speak.
Then Doctor Gmeis started a conversation with Doctor Frei that ended quickly, “Did they accept her?”
“No.”
“What are we going to do about it?”
“Nothing.”
Doctor Gmeis peered unconcerned at Doctor Frei under her frosty orifices and Xiao Mei Zhi persuaded not to look at them in their eyes, now she stared down at the floor.
“It is not good if you both start of like this.” Xiao Mei Zhi smiled coldly while she keep on staring at the ground.
Doctor Gmeis said with a smile as she touched Xiao Mei Zhis chin to raise her head up, “We are not starting anything,” she then looked at Doctor Frei who was walking forward leaving them behind. “It was just some grown-up labor that we need to handle with.”
“What should I need to achieve when we arrive there?”
“No spoilers. You will know once we get there, alright?”
Xiao Mei Zhi composed the words she wanted to say to Doctor Gmeis, “Did you know that you are forcing yourself to accept me ? I heard gossips about me around here that I do not bother caring at all ,however, if you can send me of somewhere else–”
“I am afraid that I did not hear anything you said,” Although Xiao Mei Zhi knew that Doctor Gmeis gave attention to it apparently, she just pursed her lips and said nothing.
“She is here.”
Xiao Mei Zhi was ready to die.
