I’ll Become the Tyrant’s Tutor - Chapter 10
──────⊱◈◈◈⊰──────
‘Are you following this nonsense?’
( note : reynsis told her to try reading his mind since she was like a mind reader.)
If that’s the case, she should scream and jump, but his face was so serious.
“If you do it, you’ll die” or “Yes, try it” seemed to make sense.
‘But I thought he couldn’t keep up with it.’
Prim was positive about this. Then, she closed her eyes as if she had been trying to see something in his mind. With her arms crossed, she soon opened her eyes.
“I already tried reading your mind.”
“Then, tell me.”
“Your Highness thinks that I am not a bothered. “1
“…….”
Prim smiled mischievously.
“What do you think? My mind reading is amazing, right?”
Reynsis blinked. Then, he mumbled in silence.
“As expected you are a liar.”
“Eh, is it wrong?”
“Yes, it is wrong. It’s actually the opposite. “
Prim shrugged lightly.
“It’s because telepathy doesn’t fit with you. Mind reading is supposed to be the right way to communicate with each other through mind.”
“Nonsense.”
“What do you mean by nonsense? It’s all—”
“Be quiet.”
“….You always say that I’m too loud.”
Hearing Prim’s murmur quietly, Reynsis glanced at her.
(Prim) “But you talk to me again today.”
“……..”
“I’m glad.”
Then, Prim laughed at herself.
“You look too happy today.”
He spoke bluntly and turned his eyes back to the book. But even that was good for Prim.
Prim was grinning and watched him read.
Warm sunlight shines towards them as it is already a sign where spring will come.
***
The energy of the white winter was gone, and it became a colourful spring. The cold and smoke breath has long been gone.
“Wow!”
Prim burst into exclamations without realizing it. She was looking up at the pink pretty cherry blossoms with the maids.
“Really? It bloomed as Prim said.”
“I’m right, aren’t I? Cherry blossoms bloom when they’re saying goodbye to winter. It’s the law of cherry blossoms. “
Prim shrugged her shoulders with a smug face. The maids fidgeted with the petals with ecstatic faces.
“Prim really looks like a fortune teller.”
“Oh, am I that godlike?”
“No. Not God, but a fortune-teller.”
“You’re being unnecessarily honest, sister. It’s annoying.”
She was being accompanied by the maids because of her good speech last time.
But that was also for a while. When she glanced at the cozy cherry blossom petals, she felt soft again.
Prim looked at them with a smile on her face, and suddenly opened her eyes wide at the sudden thought,
“That’s right, Prince Reynsis!”
After hurriedly saying her greetings to the maids, she went up to the Palace. The sound of her footsteps still lingered.
“Your Highness!”
She opened the door without knocking. He was looking out the window.
Surprised by the sudden visit, he quickly fixed his expression. 1
“You don’t even bother to knock now.”
“I’m sorry. I’m in such a hurry.”
“What do you want.”
“Cherry blossoms are blooming outside.”
“……….”
“You remember what we promised? Let’s go see it together. “
Prim smiled brightly and approached him.
He has already seen red through disgust, wouldn’t he see something new when he felt this peace?
Prim said, pointing to a large cherry blossom tree that bloomed outside the window.
“It is really pretty when you see it close.”
“Nonsense.”1
“It is so pretty. You’ll regret it, seriously!”
Reynsis sighs at her.
“Why should I go with you?”
“Why are you saying such sad things? It is as beautiful as you, Your Highness. You have to see it. Who else should I see it with, instead of you?”
Then, Reynsis murmured in silence.
“You already saw it with the maid and were laughing. But now you’re here?”3
“Pardon? Are you talking about me?”
“…Crap.”1
Reynsis jumped up from his seat. Prim, who tilted her head, soon opened her eyes wide.
Reynsis tried to get out of the room in a hurry, but Prim was much faster as she clung fast to his side.
“What! are you watching me?”
“You are too loud, and no.”
“Really, my Beast is too rough. we can watch it together, why are you just watching indoors, huh?”3
“I told you, no!”1
He gave a loud shout but it wasn’t scary at all. On the contrary, she laughed.
His face was flushed and he looked like a tough little kitten.1
Prim was giggling with her natural shameless face.
“While you’re up, let’s go see it together.”
“…….”
“Oops, Your Highness. Let’s go!”
The sly woman grabbed Reynsis’s arm. He looked at Prim as he was surprised with her actions. 2
“…….”
She thought he would shake his arms first but he didn’t. Prim smiled even more and led him outside.
“Come on, picnic, picnic!”
“… Picnic is tiring.”
“Then, let’s take a walk.”
He grumbled but didn’t say no. So, Prim led him out from the Palace.
“Greetings, Your Highness!”
The maids, who were looking at the cherry blossoms, bowed their heads to him in surprise. Fear was flashed in their eyes.
“Is it the place where I can’t come?”
Reynsis frowned and spoke coldly.
That’s why he didn’t want to come out. They were terrified at him even when they had done nothing wrong.
For all that prophecy or whatever. He was just born. He just can’t tell the difference between colors.
Misrepresented words snowball and become damp. Of course the people here knew he wasn’t acting ‘as predicted.’
But the fear was too great. It was not without his realizing it.
‘Damn it.’
He looked good in a bright place like this, it was puzzling. For a moment, he thought that this was nothing because of Prim.
‘She’s fine.’
It was time for him to turn around and go back to the Palace, But Prim caught him.
“Your Highness! Where are you going!
Prim approached Reynsis. The servants looked surprised when they saw her touching the Prince without hesitation.1
Unlike other painters who complained of pain in their eyes and hands, Prim was fine.
“What is it? Aren’t you going to let go of my arm?”
“You have already come out. Then, you should go and see!”
Prim, who was caught between the awkward atmosphere, said, pointing to the cherry blossom trees.
Reynsis’s gaze was also naturally directed towards it. Gray cherry blossoms were fluttering.
“Like that.”
Then she put a flower from the cherry blossom behind her ears. Then she smiled with a proud face.
“It’s pretty.”
“………”
“Oh, no.”
Prim became embarrassed and started to put cherry blossom branches in the ears of other maids.
“P, Prim?”
“It’s all right. The Prince agreed, right?”
The servants glanced at the Reynsis but he remained silent and said nothing. They were convinced that his silence is a positive sign.
Actually, Reynsis didn’t listen because he was watching Prim.
“What are you all doing? Cherry blossoms will be gone soon.”
Prim refreshed the atmosphere again. She carried the flowers and put them on the ears of other maids.
“Do I look like a goddess?”
“Well, no.”
“You are too honest, it’s annoying.”2
In an instant, the hard atmosphere began to shatter. As if the prophecy did not exist in this Empire. A small laugh came from that place.
“That’s why I’m playing with flowers.”
“Prim, there’s a bug…”
“Ahhh!”
When Prim shouted, the maids burst into laughter.
Soon enough, laughter filled the Palace.
What was so funny and happy, the faces of the maids and Prim were full of laughter.
[ SHUUSH ]
The wind began to blow. It was a warm breeze in April.
Cherry blossom’s petals began to pour like rain.
“It’s so pretty.”
One of the maids muttered with a bewildered face. Reynsis looked up at the flower rain.
The sky and gray petals were everything. It was something that was far from what they call ‘beauty’.
But,
“Oh my God! Your Highness, look at this!”
Prim led his hand. A soft small hand held him as he held his feelings.
[ STINGS ]
Then his eyes started stinging again.
“It’s a flower rain!”
Reynsis blinked.
“Oh, my God, it’s like a movie. No, the movie doesn’t exist here! Then it’s like a painting.”
She blurted out something strange. The cherry blossoms stuck in her ear looked as if they were about to fall out.
“Uh..”
Without him realizing it, he reached the flower and fixed them.2
With the sudden touch, Prim stopped cheering and stared at him.
His dark eyes were fleeting with interest.
‘Did I see it wrong?’
Prim blinked her eyes.
“This thing, what color is it?”
He asked quietly.
Prim muttered as if she was possessed by something.
“…It’s pink.”
As he stroked the petals, he lifted it and looked up at the sky.
( note : he strokes the petals that are on her ears bij tell me if that isn’t romantic.)1
‘No way’
‘Did he see the color?’
Prim was about to ask him.
“Prim! look at this!”
A maid grabbed her arm and led her. Thanks to them, their conversation was cut off.
“No, wait a minute!”
“Hurry!”
Prim was dragged away by the maids’ hands.
“………”
Then Reynsis was left alone as he closed his eyes slowly. He recalled the word that she said.
The red beams that color Prim’s face are a little more pastel.
“Pink.”3
When he said that, he felt warm and uncomfortable. 4
A loud noise fills his surroundings. There was Prim at the center.
Over Prim’s head, pink flower rain poured down. It was the color of spring for the first time.1
Her smiles had colored the colourless world.3
Really, she is a painter.
But that was just for a while. The color he saw soon disappeared. It was like a fantasy.3
“How was it, Prince?”
Prim approached him with a look full of expectations. She has been running around with the maids, and her cheeks are all red.
“…Well.”
Reynsis stared at her face, turned indifferently.
He heard Prim was grumbling, but Reynsis didn’t answer.
‘Your smile looked like the color of spring.’9
If he said this, he would look too forced to say that. But still he hated being bothered.1
