I’ll Become the Tyrant’s Tutor - Chapter 27
“Who are you?”
Reynsis asked with a cold voice.1
‘Ah right!’
Prim came to her senses belatedly. The only reason she came here was to look for the Beauty.
Prim pulled her hands away from Reynsis, but he didn’t notice it.
“Oh, let me introduce you! Your Highness, this is Elena Zerbeta. Elena, this is Prince Reynsis.” (Prim)
(t/n: lol, she went from 0 to 1000 real quick.)
Reyn turned his eyes to the woman next to Prim.
Thinking back, she once mentioned that she made a friend and this was the person.
‘…You are lucky that you’re not a man.’5
He was slightly relieved by the fact because when he thought if that ‘friend’ turned out to be otherwise, he could feel a burning sensation penetrating his gut.
And at the same time, it was Elena, who was peeping at Reynsis while clasping at the hem of Prim’s clothes. As if she didn’t want Reyn to steal her away.2
There was a strange sense of alertness in those red pupils.
‘How…?’
Reynsis raised an eyebrow in suspicion.
If his hunch was not wrong, this woman has the same thought as him.
‘Nosey brat.’5
There seems to be a spark of lightning between their eyes. It was brief enough to where Prim hadn’t noticed the inner conflict between the two parties.2
“My apologies for my delayed introduction, Your Royal Highness Prince Reynsis. I am Elena from the House of Zerbeta.”
Elena greeted him first. Whatever the rumors, he was still a prince, so it was fair to be polite.
Reyn looked indifferently at Elena and turned to Prim again.
‘Huh?’
Prim was embarrassed. It was because both of them seemed fine on their first meeting as the main characters.
‘Of course Elena may not be the Beauty of the novel, but…’
Prim was confused.
Reyn didn’t miss her expression. The reason why Prim looks like that was obvious.
‘I told you to smile when you speak with a lady.’
That’s what he thought when he recalled Prim’s words. Maybe, she will be depressed because he didn’t follow her teachings.
In addition, Prim had said Elena was her new friend.
Prim met her only for a short while.
“…….” (Reynsis)
He didn’t like it. He felt like he was getting sick.2
‘But I didn’t want to waste Prim’s efforts. Else, that face will be full with tears and the red color on your cheeks will disappear.’
So there was only one thing Reyn could do.
“….. It’s my pleasure meeting Lady Elena for the first time.”
Reyn had a very friendly smile and looked into Elena’s eyes.2

After clearing up the brief disturbance, Prim and Elena relocated to the sofa in the drawing room.
Reyn was sitting across from them in the middle of the room.
“I was really surprised just now. If something bad happened…” (Elena)
Still unable to forget the situation just now, Elena pressed her palms to her chest.
Prim, who was curious about their relationship, quickly gave a fierce look at Reyn.
Reynsis, who felt her gaze stared at her while saying ‘what’. Prim gestured with her eyes and feverishly whispered a reply.
[ whisper ]
[‘What are you waiting for?’]
[‘What?’]
Reyn cluelessly shrugged at her.
[‘I don’t know anything, why would you be asking me?’]2
Prim throwing more hand signals towards Reynsis as though she was talking to him through their secret code. She animated touching the corner of her eyes and hitting her fist hard and pointing to her hair.
“Ah.. That.” (Reynsis)
Reyn raised his arms and put it on the armrest while tilting his chin on his knuckles grinning.
Sadly, there was no such thing as what Prim wanted. There was no rush of color that painted the whole world visible just like she expected.1
His world was still black and white, and in his eyes only the red hair of Prim was clear.3
Nothing had changed, and the one who should be more disappointed than anyone else was Reyn. However, his smile kept hanging around his mouth.1
There is no such thing as fate. Prim was absolutely wrong. His world remained colourless.
To put it right, Prim will always stay right next to him. Because she will feel sorry that she couldn’t keep her promise.
‘That’s good.’2
How can she use such a resentful prophecy carelessly.
A soft smile formed on his face. A light chuckle could be heard and those who were attracted to the sound would also be hit with a smile that could make everyone stop and stare.
“…….”
Elena was momentarily struck by his smile.
(t/n: but who could blame her tho, he’s literally an angel.)
She wondered what it was like to be blinded by beauty and now she knew.
For the first time ever, she could understand why the Emperor ignored the demands of the people that wanted to dispose of the Crown Prince position that Reyn held. His laughter was so beautiful.1
But the cause of his smile was Prim.1
[‘What’s with that smile? Are you alright?’] (Prim whispered)
Prim puzzled, was nervously waiting for his answer.
[ Knock, knock ]
Reyn heard the sound of a clean knock at the door, raised his head.
“Come in.”
The door opened. A maid who looked like Elena’s personal maid approached them.
“Your Royal Highness, Prince Reynsis. The 7th Princess’s birthday party will start soon.”
Oh no. Prim stared at the servant with a bewildered look.
It was not that long since Reyn and Elena were introduced to each other, but their time was limited.
“Then please excuse me.” (Elena)
Elena stood up from her seat in a graceful manner.
Prim couldn’t let a chance go like this.
She quickly winked at Reyn when her eyes met him who was glancing at her.
[‘Quickly… Go ask her.’](whisper)
Prim at him to go to Elena.
[ ‘What.’ ](Reynsis)
Reynsis asked back with a shrug.
[‘You know what I told you!’] (Prim)
[‘Now?’] (Reynsis)
[‘Yes, now! If not now, when?!’](Prim)
When Prim said that, Reyn turned his head away annoyed.1
‘God this guy, what are you doing right now?!’
Prim tried to suppress her feelings since Elena was looking at her.
“Haha, the Prince is too.. Haha.” (Prim)
Invisible sweat drops formed on her forehead as she forced herself to smile and tried to come up with a plan, but it fizzled out before she could come up with something because the personal maid and Elena were leaving.
“Well, I’ll see you later Prim and Your Highness…..” (Elena)
“…….” (Prim & Reynsis)
“Excuse me.” (Elena)
Eleanor bowed politely and headed towards the door.
‘Too forced.‘
Reyn shook his head.
Elena disappeared with her personal maid. There were only two people left in the room, Prim and Reynsis.
Visibly upset, Prim let out a deep sigh, while putting her hands on her waist.1
“Your Highness, what is wrong with you?” (Prim)
“What?” (Reynsis)
“What? Did you just ask me ‘what’?” (Prim)
Reynsis just shrugged and looked at her as if he didn’t do anything wrong.1
Prim couldn’t speak because she was dumbfounded.
Then, Prim asked with her eyes glistening as if something had suddenly come to mind.
“What about your eyes?” (Prim)
“Eyes?” (Reynsis)
“Yes. I really thought that Lady Elena is your fate.” (Prim)
Indeed. That’s what he predicted she would say. Reynsis frowned.
Leaning on his chair, he covered his mouth with his hand thinking to himself; Reynsis closed his eyes slowly and opened it. He looked at Prim’s anxious face.
“I don’t know.” (Reynsis)
“Pardon?” (Prim)
“I don’t know.” (Reynsis)
“What’s that… w-wait a minute! Where are you going, Your Highness?!”
She called for him loudly. But Reynsis ignored her and left the drawing room.1
Prim was left behind and looked at the closed door speechless trying to process everything that just happened.
“…So, Elena is not the Beauty?” (Prim)
***
Courtiers and Nobles who entered the banquet hall greeted the Imperial family with courtesy. The main host of the party was the 7th Princess, but all of the eyes were eager to catch a glimpse of Prince Reynsis.
A chillingly handsome face looked down at them heavily. His eyes were outwardly disinterested towards the noble’s attention and he maintained an expressionless face.
Some of the sculptors were going crazy because they wanted to cut off his face to immortalize it.2
(e/n: …Woah… yeah… crazy much?)
The emperor, who was looking at people’s eyes satisfactorily rose from his seat.
“What a joyous occasion today is!”
While the Emperor continued his praises for the royal celebration, the people nodded their heads as if they were deeply moved.
Reynsis was the only who frowned at the party.
‘Tch… I came here on my own, but I still felt nauseous. Ugh, I hate this party. I wanted to say all the harsh words that I had hidden in my mouth.’
‘If only time could move faster so I can leave and go back to the palace with Prim.’
‘Normally, I would be able to sit face to face with her and hear the story of her hometown.’
“I hope everyone enjoys themselves to the fullest tonight.” (Emperor)
The party began at the end of the Emperor’s words. Reynsis moved as if he had waited for this moment. Some of the nobles came to approach Reynsis, but there was only one destination he had in mind.
“Your Highness?”
“Greetings to the 8th Prin-!?”
Prim was not that far away. But to Reyn, he felt their distance was too great. He eventually hastened his steps.
Prim tilted her head in surprise when she saw that Reyn was approaching her.
“You’re already here? You need to socialize more with the others.” (Prim)
“I don’t need something like that.”
Reynsis said apathetically. Somehow he seemed a little impatient. Puzzled, Prim noticed all the eyes around him.
Everyone in the banquet was staring at Reynsis.1
‘Where is my dignity as his tutor?!’
Prim quickly put down the cake plate she was holding. After wiping the cream around her mouth, she stood by the prince.
“So, how was it?” (Prim)
“I’m tired, I want to go back.” (Reynsis)
“Oh? Where to?” (Prim)
“Are you seriously asking me that? Of course —”
Reyn stopped talking. Unknowingly, he almost said “Belles Palace.”
He couldn’t believe he wanted to go back to that prison-like palace.
Reyn knit his eyebrows closer together. Even that wrinkled face was handsome, and someone who was staring at him in a daze came up to him with courage.
“I greet His Highness, Prince Reynsis.”
“….. Who are you?”1
Reyn frowned at the unexpected stranger who approached him warily.
If it were anyone else, they would have taken a cautious attitude, but Reyn’s beautiful face made one forget their vigilance.
“Pardon me for my late introduction. I am Earl Bellaterou. It is an honor to meet you, Your Highness.”
‘Ah, a fanatic for shallow things.’
Reyn chuckled a little. ‘Why do you introduce yourself to me for being the one who will destroy the Empire?’
“……” (Reynsis)
However, he failed to show his true feelings; It was all because of Prim looking at him.
When Reyn shut up and couldn’t say anything, Prim stepped forward.
She made up a bright smile and said hello to Bellaterou.
“Hello, my Lord. I am Primabel and in charge of the Prince’s art class.”
“Oh. Greetings, my Lady. You were the art teacher of the Prince? You must be very talented.”
“I’m flattered as I’m not that good. There is nothing much to teach anyway.”
The friendly conversation continued between Prim and Bellaterou which made Reynsis become more irritated.
