I’ll Become the Tyrant’s Tutor - Chapter 4
──────⊱◈◈◈⊰──────
[Day 4 : (Blank)]
Looking down at her notebook, Prim clenched her fist.
“I will never give up!”
Prim wrote in her notebook after carefully analyzing the results of her plan to become closer to the Beast.
[Day 4: Book]
Prim went to Reynsis’s room, holding an armful of books. He read all day long, so he would have done nothing more than this to draw up conversation.
“Your Highness, Good morning!”
Prim approached him with a bright smile. He still ignored her. Prim approached him carelessly.
“I will be reading with Your Highness, today. I brought you a good book!”
Prim, who was flustered, put a bunch of books on the desk.
“Shall we read it together?”
The brisk tone crept out from the book that Prim had brought. Then his forehead wrinkled. His expressionless mask has a finally crack out.
This is her chance.
“I’ll read it for you!”
She couldn’t even give Reynsis a chance to open his mouth. In this case, it was important to be as distracting as possible. Prim began to read in a loud voice.
< The First Step to the Social World >
The book was recommended by the Poet, saying it was an extremely good book for the basics.
“Chapter 1. Debutante!”
“……..”
“…..Wait.”
And after that first part, she couldn’t continue to read it.
This is crazy. A cursed hovered around her throat.
‘This is a social girl’s book!’
Her face glowed in embarrassment. She resented herself for not even reviewing it first. Prim shut her mouth tight.
“………”
I slipped the book I was holding onto my side.
“Well, I thought it would be better to study something different today. So what I’m trying to explain is that you will soon meet a lady that is the same age as you…”
The more she speaks, the more weird it becomes.
Reynsis closed his eyes slowly. Judging from the reaction, the operation seemed to have worked in its own way.
“Your Highness?”
Will he speak with me and become friends? It seems to be in that direction.
Prim gulped. His red lips finally let her hear the voice she wanted to hear so much.
“Get the hell out of here.”
[Day 4 : Book. Failed]
But listening to his voice is a success. I think this kind of method is quite effective.
[Day 5: Food]
Prim slipped around the kitchen like a dog catcher waiting for food. Just in time, she caught a passing servant and her eyes shone.
“I’m sorry, but can you make me a dessert?”
Originally, there was nothing about food when we talked. But Prim remembers the food that Reynsis liked.
He has liked peaches since he was young. Wouldn’t food with memories soften his mind a little bit?
She glanced down at the food on the plate with a confident look.
“I am the author who has made you, even if I am Primabel.”
With pride, Prim hummed. After a light knock, she opened the door.
Sitting by the window and reading a book, he was beautiful again today.
“Your Highness, I am here!”
Prim’s voice rang inside the room. Coming to Reynsis’s side, she showed him what she had brought.
“Ta-da!”
“…….”
It was a tart with pink peaches. The melted sugar held the sunlight in half. It was an appetizing look.
“Would you like to try this?”
It was when she was about to pick out a piece of tart –
BANG!
The closed door opened with a loud noise.
“Agh!”
Surprised, Prim staggered and tripped a little. A piece of peach fell on his book because of the shock.
“………”
She is seriously screwed as her face turns pale. She didn’t even dare to see Reynsis’s face.
Prim slowly turned her head around to the door as if her neck felt a little stiff.
It was Marian who came in. She was breathing hard, perhaps running in a hurry.
“You can’t eat that! You have peach allergy, Your Highness!”
“…..What?”
“Oh lord, how much I jumped in shocked when I heard that.”
Allergy?
Since when did you have an allergy? As far as Prim remembered, she never wrote anything like that.
The tension didn’t cool down. Prim slowly turned her head to look at him.
“……..”
“Your….. Highness?”
He was staring at the peach that fell on his book with bitter eyes.
Prim, frozen like a statue slowly trying to pick up the peach on the book with a weird gesture.
The book is ruined by the cream and topping from the peach tarts.
As if to suppress his anger, Reynsis slowly closed his eyes. His long eyelashes tremble with rage.
She was like a frightened sheep, biting her lips, and just looking at him.1
His red lips flowed a new words today,
“Get the hell out of my sight, right now.”
[Day 5 : Food. Failed]
It’s strange. Since when has he been allergic to peaches? Thanks to him, she was sweating profusely to apologize all day.
It’s her own fault, obviously. She’ll never make this mistake again.
[Day 6 : Memories]
She was so confident today! Prim took the stuff she had brought out from her pocket. Prim wielded the object with a triumphant look.
He frowned at the loud noise.
Her face glowed because of the faster-than-expected reaction. She waved her hands excitedly.
The rattling noise turned into noise. She looked like a puppy who wanted attention.
What she brought with her was the rattle that Reynsis used when he was young. It was found only in the deepest part of the warehouse by Marian.
Prim shook his rattle in front of him reading the book.
‘Please pay attention to me!’
Somehow it looked pathetic. The method itself was not bad. She’ve succeed in hearing his speech today as well, but –
“Take that ugly rattle and throw it away right now, before I kill you.”
The problem was that his speeches were kinda harsh.
[Day 6 : Memories. Failed.]
She only gets threatened by the Beast.
“I’m doomed!” cried Prim, whose eyes were covered with snow.
She flopped down in the garden. The freezing cold weather enveloped her body, but it was warmer than Reynsis’s eyes. Now she was at a loss what method to use.
‘Was the rattle a bit too much?’
“Then, what can I do to help him…?”
It’s not good to see with hateful eyes.
Please, let’s talk! I told you I’d solve our misunderstanding and find you your Beauty, you Beast! She moaned in pain, tearing out her red hair.
All the servants that passed by her seemed to think that she’s crazy because of her crying in the cold snow.
‘I don’t know anymore, should I just run away?’
Primabel glanced at the sky with her blank eyes. Blue sky and white clouds were in her sight.
This season was still suffering from the winter. That time when the cold wind and falling snow pour into people’s faces.
But even though it’s a frigid day, the spring will come someday.
You will be able to see the beautiful scenery that anyone can touch when they reach out, and the energy radiating that comes from all over the place.
‘But, Prince Reynsis.’
She slowly closed her eyes. The cold winter wind brushed her red hair.
‘He didn’t know the colour of the season.’
Prim sighs heavily. She couldn’t give up her last chance. As a writer, and as a teacher, she is responsible.
She rose from her seat and headed back to Reynsis’s room, hoping to get a little closer with the Beast.
The wind inside the forest soon shattered.
[Day 7 : There is no sight of Prince Reynsis in his room]
Prim quenched her head while writing the 7th day inside her journal.
‘You don’t even want to be a slave’
Prim sat down on the Prince’s seat.
She really hates that 16 year old boy. Prim glared at the table where he always sat and read his books all day.
A sigh broke out.
‘I can’t help it’
Prim decided to wait for him. In the meantime, no one came to visit his room. In spite of the fact that quite a long time has passed.
Prim glanced at the closed door.
‘When will anyone come. I am all day alone with the books…’
Her heart suddenly felt guilty and sank again.
It was then, she could hear footsteps coming up from the stairs. She looked at the door with a bright face, like a puppy waiting for its owner.
“Prim?”
A gentle voice called her. Her anticipated hope died down like a blown balloon.
“What is it, Marian.”
It was Marian who came in. Prim pouted and poked her lips with her dreary face.
Marian, who brought in a new bedding sheet looked around and asked,
“Are you alone, Lady Prim. What about Prince Reynsis?”
“Well, I don’t know.”
Prim shrugged her shoulders. Marian looked at her with a pitiful eye as if she knew about Prim’s situation.
“He doesn’t usually go out, but sometimes he goes out all day like this. He’ll be back soon, so wait a minute.”
In other words, is he going out all day because of me?
Prim gulped. Marian, who had been wary of her for no reason, added
“His Highness seems a little bit moody.”
It was easy for someone like him who was so picky about the day to say he would kill me. What do you think about that Marian?
Prim, muttering words into her mind, nodded. Marian never complain about him
“I feel sorry for your suffering, but I feel much concerned about His Highness since he has been alone.”
“………”
“I just want to see it once, the smile of the Prince. I don’t think I have any other wish. I might be blind of his smile.”
Marian word made Prim agreed.
Although Reynsis always frowning or his face became expressionless, His beauty still remained. He was like the most beautiful person in the Empire.
“I still can’t forget the Empress’ words. She said she wanted to see the Prince smile. I don’t believe in prophecies. He just can’t see any colour.”
“……..”
When Prim heard that, her heart hurt and pounded vigorously.
