I’ll Just Live As A Villain - Chapter 3
“No, you’re a demon, aren’t you? Demons are very selfish. Life contracts… …why would you do such a loss without a price for anything?”
At my natural question, the demon hit his chest with his fist as if he was going to burst in anger.
“That’s why I usually get paid! Or I sign a contract with a guy who does something very interesting. You know, someone who kills human or start wars.”
But I wasn’t either.
I called the demon’s real name so he can’t take the price from me.
But I wasn’t planning anything very interesting to think of as just an interesting pastime.
“Oh, well, can’t it be my wish for you to go home?”
“No, there’s only one way I can get back to the other world. It was you die.”
‘If you think about it normally, he’ll have to wait until my days are numbered, but…’
The opponent was a demon.
He can kill a normal human without any guilt.
Couldn’t he kill me here and go back to his world?
While I was thinking so, the demon came to me with an expressionless face.
When he comes close, he wraps his hand around my neck. Despite the warm air, his hands were very cool.
The hand holding my neck was soft and firm, and he could easily wring my neck if he wanted to.
But strangely, I didn’t feel fear.
The demon grinned as I looked up calmly.
“You feel it instinctively, don’t you? I can’t kill you.”
The demon lifted his hands from my neck.
“From the moment you and I are signed into a contract, I can’t harm your life. Rest assured on that part.”
“But I think you can still get me killed indirectly. There’s a hit and run murder or something.”
“You can tell me your wish not to.”
The demon who talked in a sulky manner, paused as if he had realized something.
“No, but are you telling me how to kill you?”
“But… you just told me. The way you can’t kill me.”
The demon, who rolled his eyes from side to side at my words, grabbed his head when he realized he had made a mistake.
“Oh, shit! I shouldn’t have said that.”
“It’s late.”
I smiled and made a quick wish.
“You can’t kill me. Directly or indirectly I don’t want to die.”
It was the second life that I acquired, despite it was from a book.
‘And I were born as a rich aristocrat, I should not die after living a life that I could not do in my first life.’
The problem was the sudden rise of this demon.
“I’m screwed…… I don’t get paid…… I can’t kill people…… why did a boring person call me? I’m totally screwed.”
I rested my chin on my palms and looked at the demon, who kept saying he was doomed.
He has a bewitching handsome appearance
The crown prince who was the most handsome out of all the fishes of Catherine had no match for his looks.
‘An uncommon silver hair and red eyes. Everia has a common reddish-brown hair with green eyes.’
It was an unrealistic look that would not exist in this world.
‘His clear and reproving face looks beautiful like a picture, so I said everything.’
I sighed for a long time at the sight of the very handsome demon.
“Okay, so I’ll take care of you? I’m the one who called you out anyway, so I’ll take responsibility.”
“Responsibility…”
The demon looked at me with his hands on his head.
“How are you going to take responsibility?”
His eyes were filled with discontent and doubt.
“Won’t I just feed you and put you to sleep?”
Everia is the daughter of a duke anyway, so she has plenty of money.
I don’t know exactly, but there will be quite a lot of property to inherit from the duke.
‘So it wouldn’t be hard to keep a man alive. ‘
But I soon realized the fact that the presence in front of me was not an ordinary human being.
Maybe they need a food that is different from humans.
‘Does they consume blood like a vampire?’
Maybe that’s why he asked about blood earlier.
I quickly asked the demon out of fear.
“The demon eat like humans, right? It’s annoying to ask for something weird. Blood, heart, something like that.”
The demon frowned as if my question was absurd.
“How do you see the demon? We’re also civilized men who eat bread and meat!”
“Then, there’s no problem.”
“No problem? Eating and sleeping everything in life? What about the fun of my life! The demon is a clan that lives for pleasure!”
The demon shouted angrily.
I was dumbfounded and laughed in vain.
This demon doesn’t seem to know if his head were full of flowers or knew what a boring life is really was.
“This demon is full of himself. Do you really know what makes life boring?”
“Hm. How can you know then?”
“You said you were supposed to grant all my wishes. Why don’t I ask you not to eat, not to sleep, but only to stand in front of the wall every day? Life must be boring, right?”
I am fed up with the face of the confident demon.
‘That’s the face when I tell you to light the fireplace.’
I realized that I had won by looking at his dead face.
“So if I feed you and put you to sleep, then I’ll take full responsibility. Find your entertainment on your own.”
The demon curled his mouth and nodded.
He seemed to be dissatisfied but was convinced anyway.
Now that I’ve roughly sorted things out with this side, the question was how to introduce this demon to others.
His appearance was so noticeable that it seemed difficult to gloss over it.
‘I think I’ll have to use what he can do.’
