I’m Not Doing This With A Friend - Chapter 4
Arriving at the club room early, Leen naturally lay down on the sofa that Carsion brought.
It was unbelievable that it was only three days since the club had no activity.
“Was it too much to occupy the sofa alone for two days in a row?”
But wasn’t it Carsion himself who told me to use the sofa however I want because it was shared in the club?
I felt a little guilty for a while.
Leen went to sleep, thinking that Carsion would wake her up if he had any complaints.
How long has it been since I closed my eyes?
The club room door opened with a ‘pop’ sound and someone came inside.
Leen was still awake, so she wondered if she should get up and say hello.
Of course, the worries weren’t long. She chose to pretend to sleep as it was.
However, as soon as the door was opened, no sound of footsteps should be heard.
When Leen’s doubts grow.
Fjord’s voice came from the door.
“Carsion, What are you doing outside not entering?”
“…Shh.”
“What, did something happen inside?”
Along with the sound of footsteps entering the club room, an exclamation came out that seemed to have realized something.
“Ah.”
He found Leen sleeping on the sofa.
Soon, Fjord opened his mouth as if whispering.
The sound was so low that Leen couldn’t figure out what was going on between the two.
‘I know why you’re telling me to be quiet, but it’s not like you. I’m getting a little scared.’
Carsion, who had been silent for a while, said slowly.
‘…It turns out that there was a club change period for transfer students.’
‘It’s the first time I’ve heard that there’s such a thing?’
It was the first time I heard of it, even Fjord, who was quick to hear of all kinds of rumors.
I felt uncomfortable for some reason. However, there was no reason for Carsion to lie to me.
Unless you want to hide something and make excuses.
‘How many days was the correction period?’
‘…a week?’
The answer was subtly slow, but Fjord didn’t notice and clicked his tongue briefly.
…In the meantime,
‘Keep your manners down.’
Carsion didn’t know what would happen to the club that he barely created if Leen left the club that barely satisfied the minimum number of members.
The two closed the door quietly and came in as if they had reached an unspoken agreement.
On the other hand, Leen was moved with a small inner feeling after realizing that the surroundings became quiet with the hissing sound of Carsion.
As expected, Carsion was only wary of himself that I have seen for the first time, but he was good in nature.
Doing such cute things when I’m not watching.
‘A cutie Rich-Baby-Cat recognized by everyone.’
Leen was the only one who considered Carsion like a pink kitten.
However, she had no qualms about attaching the word “Everyone.”
After a while, Leen felt like something was moving carefully that would not wake her up.
A blanket covered over her lying down.
‘Wow. You’re really nice.’
With a series of kindness, Leen couldn’t resist the tickling feeling and opened her eyes.
“Pink head, what are you doing?”
While covering her with a blanket, Carsion suddenly met her eyes and blushed.
“This, This doesn’t mean anything…”
Looking at Carsion’s embarrassed face, I felt a cringe in my chest.
You did a good job, but why do you look like a person who got caught doing something bad?
Leen began to praise his behavior with a rather exaggerated tone.
“Oh my God, did you secretly try to cover me with a blanket? I knew you were nice, but this was really impressive.”
“It’s not like that, so don’t get me wrong. I did that without thinking…”
“Wow, then it means kindness was embedded in you. It’s even more amazing.”
It was a deliberate compliment, but it worked, Carsion’s face started to blush even more.
Leen sped up and made fun of him even more.
“Aren’t you actually the angel who lost its wings? No way, a saint who’s been hiding his power?”
Every time she stretched her tongue, the face of the listener, Fjord, became deeply shocked.
It looked like he couldn’t understand or didn’t want to understand what he was hearing right now.
However, Leen was busy making fun of Carsion without noticing Fjord.
Leen’s expression becomes very serious.
Just like what you didn’t do.
Carsion, who came to his senses after her teasing attack, shook Leen’s hand and pointed.
“You… You—!”
“Huh? Pink-Head, what’s wrong? Did something happen?”
Upon seeing them, Fjord slapped his cheek.
When he realized it wasn’t a dream, he burst out laughing.
“Haha, the world was going crazy.”
* * *
“Don’t come near me.”
“What did you say? Don’t treat me like a germ.”
As if it was absurd, I raised my eyebrows and swallowed a smile pressing the laughter that was about to burst from my mouth.
I’ve been teasing him a few times and his alertness was growing like that. Should I control myself a little bit?
But the reaction was so funny.
Yesterday, I felt brokenhearted just looking at the sofa, he prevented me from sitting. I think it’s his revenge.
Aren’t you acting too cute?
I settled on a desk chair a little off the sofa as Carsion wanted. It was opposite the seat where Fjord was sitting.
This was because I felt like he would be really sulky if I ignored the word of a Rich-Baby-Cat.
And sometimes, I need to make a gradual adjustment so that Carsion’s vigilance wouldn’t be resolved quickly.
I rummaged through the bag, thinking that it would be a sign if Carsion knew.
Anyway, what should I do to make time pass quickly?
I didn’t bring anything I could spare time with today because I was thinking about sleeping on the sofa.
While I was thinking about that, Fjord came in, reading a book with his legs crossed in front of me.
To be precise, his right foot was floating in the air.
Oh, I don’t know anything else, but I can’t stand it.
Come to think of it, if I can’t make fun of Carsion because of his sulky personality, why don’t I make fun of someone else?
I asked, looking into the book Fjord was reading.
“What are you doing?”
Then Fjord smiled and made eye contact with me. It was a smile that looked very kind, unlike anyone else.
“Oh, I was reviewing today’s class.”
“Fjord was surprisingly diligent.”
“…why suddenly?”
As if he didn’t know I would think so, a quivering expression grazed Fjord’s face.
I didn’t miss that gap in Fjord’s face. The reason why I talked to him in the first place was to induce his carelessness.
In a short moment, I moved my eyes downward. Then, with a clever move, I tapped the back of Fjord’s shoes and pushed them away.
Then the shoes come off as if I was using magic.
Although it may seem simple, it was footwork that could not be done without having delicate technical skills.
“Huh…?”
In an instant, Fjord, whose one shoe had been removed, turned into confusion and alternated between the shoes and me.
With a clear smile, I kicked his shoes away.
**Swoosh**
As it flew away, his head turned toward the shoe that hit the wall of the club room. It was a vain look.
“You… don’t do something like that, and you really…”
Fjord pouted as if he had a lot to say to me and finally shut his mouth.
It felt even more enjoyable seeing his reaction.
Because my dad was playful, we used to play with mom in tens of thousands of ways.
Did they say blood couldn’t be fooled? I didn’t know that there would be such a nasty side to me.
Maybe I’m going to live and have fun playing around like my dad.
But with teasing and playing, I shouldn’t offend him anymore.
I walked furiously and picked up the shoes that were scattered randomly.
Fjord shudders as if he was very anxious about his shoes in my hand.
“You’re not gonna throw it out the window, are you?”
“I’m not that bad-tempered.”
With a bloody smile, I put these shoes under his right foot.
It was like buying time to pass. Still, thanks to him, I had fun.
Once again, Fjord alternated between his shoes and me with a ridiculous expression.
“Why? Do you want me to wear it?”
When asked if he would wear it, Fjord whispered as if talking to himself.
“I don’t know if it’s good or bad.”
The expression and tone of confusion made me laugh without realizing it.
I slowly came up with the idea of making fun of him a little more.
I really bent one knee to put the shoes on him myself. No, I tried to bend it.
However, the plan went in vain. It was because of the sudden loud voice.
“Hey!”
At the urgent voice of Carsion, I tried to bend one knee but looked at him in an awkward position.
“You don’t even have pride? How can you bend your knees so lightly?”
I blinked in amazement at the unexpected point he was angry with.
I didn’t know you’d get so mad at me for trying to bend my knees for fun.
I just skipped the jokes against Carsion himself or Fjord.
I felt as if I had made a big mistake.
“Pink-Head, are you mad?”
“No.”
Carsion denied my words and turned his head around.
Then let go of your angry expression.
I approached him carefully to make him feel better.
Don’t let the vigilant Rich-Baby-Cat be surprised.
Little by little, very slowly.
