I’m The Boss’s Secretary?! - Chapter 387
The plan started as Seoyeon, Jung Hwa, and Lee Young left the associate building. Seoyeon went into silence. She still cannot believe who she had seen. But speaking of the man’s name here would ruin their plan.
“It is difficult to understand,” Lee Young spoke as they all seated inside the car.
Seoyeon tilted her head as it was her whom Lee Young was talking to.
“Relationship between people I mean,” Lee Young completed his words. “It is mind blowing how one’s hatred could stem into the start of a chaos; how one greed can destroy not only the person but the whole world, and how a person’ sadness will affect the lives of generation to come like Haneul’s.”
Taking the time to think, Seoyeon could understand and share the same idea as Lee Young.
Madam Yoo’s hatred against vampires who oppressed her to live in the silence caused Haneul to lose her dear ones. The Queen’s greed caused the sadness of not only a few people but the whole kingdom and kin of the dark and light witches.
Meanwhile, the sadness that Haneul felt caused her to unintentionally reincarnate her friend’s life for centuries unendingly that affect her life.
To see how they were connected in the most unexpected path, Seoyeon understood Lee Young. Indeed, it was difficult to ever understand a person’s relationship or what one person can do to affect the life of another.
And him…
“We have time,” said Lee Young then bringing her attention again, “So can you tell me a little about your opinion?”
“What kind of opinion?” Seoyeon didn’t see there was a need for her to give Lee Young an opinion when the man was far more knowledgeable than her.
“Once this all end,” Lee Young’s eyes moved to some where Seoyeon didn’t notice, “Where will all Haneul’s friends souls go to?”
“They should be reincarnated again,” answered Seoyeon with a soft smile, “But this time they shouldn’t be bound by the past. They would be able to finally rest all their contempts, sorrow, and yearning.”
“Yearning,” whispered Lee Young. “You’re right.”
Jung Hwa who had been listening to the discussion as he sat beside Seoyeon and the talk wasn’t a secret moved his eyes to stare at his granduncle, keeping a silent while his eyes seemed to have caught something.
They went down off the car once they have reached to the house which was built on the foothill of a tall mountain.
Walking outside of the car, Seoyeon’s eyes first noted the large mansion that was built.
There was only one thing she would make a remark against the house and it was the fact that the house was built with a cemetery as a garden in the front yard of the house.
The width of the house, reminded her so much of the associate building with the only difference being that the house looked much older and eerier.
A glance was enough for Seoyeon to be certain that there had been many lives taken and sacrificed inside the house.
Her guess was strengthened by the news she had been hearing where there had been many people went missing after they came to the mountain’s foothill.
But now knowing that the mansion belonged to the late Queen or the mistress, Seoyeon could tell that the people didn’t went missing in the mountain. Rather, they had been taken as a sacrifice by the mistress for her wretched ritual.
Going with the plan, Seoyeon entered the house alone at first. When she came toward the mansion’s door, Seoyeon raised her hand to knock on the door thrice.
For a while there had been no answer. Seoyeon could tell Jung Hwa and the others were behind her but she didn’t turn around as she could feel that someone from the house was eyeing her.
“Excuse me! I lost my way here and my car broke down. I was thinking to ask some place to stay for another three or four hours,” Seoyeon have you her excuse.
She knocked again as there was no reply and finally when she was about to knock for the fourth time, the door pushed itself open with a slow creaking sound.
Seoyeon sneaked out her head between the gaps of the door, seeing no one behind the door as if it was moving by itself but then those wasn’t scary to her who knew the existence of dark magic and magics.
Seoyeon stepped in after murmuring and excuse me. When she got inside the house. She looked around, seeing how the house was more battered inside than how it looked lavish from outside.
“We have been waiting Miss Seoyeon,” came the voice from behind.
Hearing the few words said by the man, Seoyeon sighed, “Seems like this plan of being polite was useless,” she answered. Turning her body she was met with Taein’s bright eyes. The man had a wide smile on his lips.
“Not at all. It was quite funny to see you acting you are terrible at it,” commented the man.
Seoyeon looked behind him, finding no one but she could feel the presence of a lot of people inside the room. Possibly they were hiding behind the walls.
‘Yes, they are there,’ Haneul confirmed her guess.
“I am a terrible actress in front of the perfect actor, I won’t dare to praise myself. But do you know how acting isn’t my top priority today?” Seoyeon questioned as she grinned. “I am here to repay for what you did last time.”
“Oh dearie, shouldn’t I be the one doing that?” Taein questioned. “Please. You were the one who had stabbed me in my stomach, it was a very deep wound that I almost died you know.”
“Yes, I know,” Seoyeon shrugged her shoulders, “and I am here today to complete my unfinished mission by killing you.”
“Try then,” Taein appeared calm and relaxed as if he was confident he would win against her who was the catalyst. The confidence was questionable until he said, “You should know that I am the child created by dark magic I can assure you that I am not like others.. Give me a play that doesn’t end quickly, would you? Don’t bore me.”
