I’m The Boss’s Secretary?! - Chapter 404
Min Hyuk was stunned seeing Haneul. He quickly made his way toward her. Rushing between the path that was white as the surroundings around him was and pulled Haneul into his embrace.
His hand cupped the back of her head and he pushed her head into his chest, making sure to feel the soft breaths from her nose to confirm that it was Haneul, the woman whom he had been dying to meet. His yearning stayed for years, even hundreds and centuries.
Finally now, he found her.
Found…?
But he had found her many times…
Suddenly, a fit of pain rang in Min Hyuk’s eyes. He twisted his brows in pain and fell to the ground as he was unable to endure the agonizing pain which rang in his head.
“Min Hyuk?” Haneul’s shock came on her face. She reached out to touch his chest which he had been clutching tightly on only for her to feel her hands burning.
Haneul took Min Hyuk’s hand, “Listen to me. The woman who you have been seeing. She wasn’t me. The one who killed me is the Queen, the enemy of Seoyeon. And Seoyeon… she is a friend of mine, someone who wishes for our pain to end. A very kind hearted and warm woman.”
“No…” Min Hyuk grasped tight to Haneul’s hand. “Where are you going?”
Haneul looked at him with a small smile, “Once I heal you out of her spell, I cannot be here any longer.”
“No…” Min Hyuk shook his head and a begging expression settled on his eyes. “Don’t leave me.”
Faced with Min Hyuk broken hearted question Haneul couldn’t handle her tears. She bent forward and pulled Min Hyuk to her embrace.
“Thank you for everything. I love you and I’m sorry for leaving you again. I hope that one day would come where we could be together again in peace, with a family of our own. Min Hyuk… I am happy that in my life I was able to meet you. Because of you, I have found happiness that put my soul in peace.”
Min Hyuk’s eyes were filled with tears as well as he tried to clutched to Haneul tighter in his embrace. “Don’t leave me please… not again.”
Haneul shut tight her eyes and kissed his forehead. Smile appeared on her lips as she said in the most gentlest tone, “I love you, my husband.”
Meanwhile, Seoyeon fought wild in order to have the same intensity as the Mistress did. The woman grew stronger and it was hard to think this was half of her power but then she had only used less than a quarter of the catalyst’s true power as well.
Only one can imagine how powerful Haneul was at the time and why people was frightened by her. To use her full power, Seoyeon didn’t know what she needs to do.
With struggles, the Mistress floated above the sky, thinking neither the two of them would be able to fly but she had forgotten Seoyeon’s power. At once, she soared following the Mistess.
Using her power, Seoyeon manipulated the air, turning it into small bullets to puncture holes around the Mistress’s shoulders. When the mistress tried to attack, Seoyeon had mercilessly attacked the bullet to the woman’s wrist, causing her hand to blow into bits.
It was cruel what she had done but Seoyeon knew better than anyone how crueler the Mistress was to others who had turned as victims on her hands.
The Mistress who then fell on the ground laughed, “This won’t be enough to hurt me, I still have many… many spells that could empower me.”
Seoyeon and Jung Hwa then saw the woman pulling out a book out of thin air where the book’s color was deep maroon as if it was made out of blood.
“Now, you all will suffer! No one manage to push me into the corners but now you would have to pay for the price of unleashing my power!” The Mistress begin to laugh while Seoyeon frowned seeing the woman.
However, they were both unconcerned which the Mistress only realized once her laughter died down. She then felt a stab near her. Turning her head, she saw it was Taehyung who had stabbed the book she held with another knife on his left hand that he had used to pierce the woman’s hands.
“Before he died,” Taehyung started. His eyes stared at the woman with deep anger as he had erased in his mind of the fact she was once his mother. “He told me that there is one way to seal your magic. Using this dagger which you had used when killing our father.”
“Tae…hyung!” The Mistress yelled but Taehyung heed nothing and pushed the dagger deeper before throwing her down to the ground.
As if it was her last thread that snapped with Taehyung’s action, wrath filled the Mistress’s vein. “I will kill you! I will kill every fucking one of you!”
Seoyeon saw the burst of energy from the woman and immediately pulled her hand to cover her face. It wasn’t enough as she was pushed back by the ripples of the woman’s ability.
But when she fell down, Seoyeon picked herself again. It was painful but she saw Jung Hwa, the reason for her to fight and at once all her pain felt as if it had disappeared.
She knew who she was fighting for, and what for. Once she had put her mind in it, Seoyeon swore to see through the peacefulness which she hope to come once the root of all the problem had been killed.
After countless of being thrown and throwing, Seoyeon saw Jung Hwa manipulating the blood all around them.
Thinking so, she raised her hand, lifting the blood from the ground and the leaves to create a large round shape to cover the Mistress inside.
Jung Hwa smiled seeing this, and he used his power to crystallize the blood.
The Mistress struggled to get out of the bubbles of blood, trying to create holes after holes from the blood in order to get out which was to no avail.
Seoyeon saw the woman’s head jerking out of the red bubble.
“Is it hard to get out of there?” She asked.
“You will regret this.”
“Killing you? No. Dirtying my hands with your blood? Yes. But you know what? I don’t care,” Seoyeon replied to the woman bleakly, Jung Hwa had came to her side with the same smile on his lips while the Mistress fell into horror as she realized how there was no longer way out for her.
Jung Hwa looked at the Mistress who gradually turn weaker inside the bubble of blood smiled in satisfaction, “Now enjoy your time in the blood that you had shed. Bye bye.”
“No! NOOOO!!” The Mistress’s voice echoed but was soon engulfed by the blood that seemed hungry as if wanting its revenge by eating the woman.
Jung Hwa had taken the last kill by clutching his hand to a fist at the same time, crystallizing the ball into a smaller shape until it shattered to red pieces.
