Shinichi looked at the curious look on his brother’s face and the intrigued lights within Yui’s eyes and sighed out loud.

Fine. If you two really want to know about it that badly, I can tell you about it. This tale is going to be one long tale, so let’s return to the inn first.

I rented another large room for my brother. So, instead of showing him my and Yui’s room, we went into his room instead.

“Where do I start?” I asked myself as I scratched my head in one of my rare moments of confusion.

“From the beginning,” Yui said as he sat beside me and took out a teapot from nowhere, as he began to make some tea for us.

“From the beginning huh…Okay, fine.” I said as I sipped my tea while trying to get my wit together. Prince Yui was to the right of me while my brother was in front of me with his own teacup that Prince Yui passed him.

“It was year 3566 of the Republican Galactic Calendar, in mid-June, right after I had the ceremony for my two years degree. That day, I was on my way back from college while I had just finished talking to mom and dad concerning my living arrangements in England, down the street to the Starbuck Cafe near my apartment when this whole world-hopping thing happened. I recalled with livid details that I was walking steadily and calmly when a rock just appeared out of nowhere. I try to move my feet away, and with my reaction speed, it shouldn’t be hard. However, contraindicated to my belief and reaction speed, the next thing that I knew, I was in the middle of a large forest, already.” I started telling that to Pr- Yui and Shinji-niisan. Yui looked like he has a question at the tip of his tongue but one looked at me and he shut up.

That’s right. Right after that, I suddenly appeared in the middle of a large forest, with no warning whatsoever.

The only thing that I had on me was my backpack, which was filled with papers, writing utensils, a water bottle, a small pocket knife that I always take for protection, my small emergency kits- which was very small and compact considering the timeline that I was born in, and something that doesn’t belong to me.

The first thing I did upon knowing that I was in a forest was to make sure that I am not bleeding or injured. Afterall, if an animal smells blood from me and got excited then it won’t be or do me any good.

Next thing that I noticed was the fact that I am very aware of everything surrounding me. I can hear all the insects, animals, leaves, and trees swaying in the wind. I can even count how many ants were underneath my feet at that moment. I nearly panic right there and then, had it not being for me noticing that my backpack was slightly heavier than normal.

I was very nervous, though. Because everything seems so damn bright and vibrated that it hurts my eyes. It’s like my eyesight has changed somehow, even though I’d have 30/10 visual acuity even without any vision tools to help me.

In it, I found 12 pages of notes from the god of my original world and another five pages of notes from the gods of this … place that I’m currently in.

The god from Earth, which doesn’t have an official name but would like to be referred to as Gaiana, first, apologized to me and then explain the situation to me.

The main letter said,

[Dear Tokugawa Shinichi-sama,

I, as the main god of Earth, numbered XB08683349BU0385-MUN8209-1793, your original world of Earth, apologize for suddenly being unable to host you on Earth anymore. The reason was due to the fact that the Earth, numbered XB08683349BU0385-MUN8209-1793, doesn’t have enough Merits and Magic to withstands your presence and luck, any longer. Had you stay any longer, as a world without Magic of any kind, your presence will cause (Alien/Foreign/Monsters) to appear as compromised. This will end Earth, numbered XB08683349BU0385-MUN8209-1793, within a week’s time.

The reason why I, as the Main God of Earth, didn’t kill you was that I cannot kill you either. I really wish that I, Gaiana, was stronger so that I can protect you (or end your life – depending on the situation) and your life some more but, as a non-magical world’s gods, I am powerless to help you- or end you.

In exchange for all the love that you had toward Earth, lives on Earth, and your accomplishment on the Medicine Field during the time that you were here, I will give you half of my power to help you live in another world.

This new world is called Woruim. He is a Magical World. The gods and goddess of Woruim are from my Originates Godhood’s family members. It’s just that they are assigned into Woruim since they are older and more powerful while I was assigned to Earth. Earth was a Rank E world, a world without Magic. However, Woruim was a world of Magic at the Rank of B. So, it might be harder for you to live there.

My oldest god-cousin, as the Goddess of Love and Birth, Celenius, had asked for your presence in her world. Which was why I used a lot of my powers to send you there before it’s too late.

System 77777 can help conceal your presence from ill intentions and human intentions for 20 years. After that, the energy within System 77777 will be depleted. Moving on, another letter from the God of Magic and Life, Crimora, granted me three other Skills; Space Magic, Magic Potion Knowledge, and Synthesis. Since I already have Alchemy from Gaiana-sama, Magic Potion Knowledge was just a more advanced level for it.

After that, the God of the Beast, Alada granted me two companionsh.i.p.s. A large black Fenrir and a Lightning Thunder Hawk, Felesa and Gutza. Both are Rank SS Beasts that had served the gods.

The rest of the gods give me power base on their respective specialties.

The last god didn’t give me any skills or ability. Instead, he gives me information. Important information.

Three books. The first book was a book about this world, the second book was a book listing information about Beasts, the last book was a combat book that teaches me a couple of spells and movement from the six basic elements.

Out of all the gods, Bellaphor, the God of War and Battle, who give me those books, are my favorite. After all, I know how important information and knowledge are.

Firstly, now is really not the time for me to be reading these books. There’s too much information for me to take in at this very moment.

Second, I can’t stay here any longer. I need to find a place to live. Which means that I have to move. Now.

Alright. For the first problem that I had personally, I don’t believe that I cannot go back home. So, I need to research more information about that. However, this will have to wait.

Secondly, right now I need a house.

Goddess Genera, the goddess of Earth and Sky granted me the ability to use earth magic effectively so I guess, for now, make a house out of the earth. And no, I don’t mean right here where I am at. I need to find a more appropriate location.

Since I can use searching magic, I decided to use that.

“Search,” I chanted with the intention of searching. A weird sensation caused my spine to tingle. It feels like something came out from my inner stomach and left, leaving a strange sense of breathlessness that had nothing to do with exhaustion or energy.

A large map of this forest and its surrounding came to me. Ah, this is like how a mini-map inside a game works. Only, this map was far too detailed. Is this really fine? This OP ability… shows even more than iGo***gle Maps. It’s even better than a satellite map. Is this really okay?

It was extremely easy to understand and find anything on this map. I can even search for specific things using this map. For example, on top of the mini-map was a tab that was labeled with [Monsters]. When I concentrate on it, a long list of all kinds of monsters, beasts, and magical creature meet my eyes. Things like dragozola and phinexa was on it. Out of curiosity, I concentrated on the phinexa and it turned out to be a variety of Phoenix. Only it was smaller and more interesting looking.

There’s a river nearby, along with a large cliff. Ah, that’s a mountain… No, wait. That’s a f.u.c.k.i.n.g damn plateau!

On the map, there’s a lot of red dots that represent animals. However, it seems like all of the animals are asleep. Probably the gods made them asleep for me….

Thanks, Crimora-sama and the rest of the Kami-tachi. At least, they are more responsible than Gaiana-sama.

I made my way toward the area on the map that looks good and was flat enough for four football fields.

The maps that show up was of a large forest with very rocky mountains in the middle. Currently, I am currently Southern-Western away from the main location of the Rocky Mountains. The location that I had my eyes on was a little bit north away from my current location. About 4 miles away.

It takes me a couple of hours on foot since the way there was full of greens and uncleared path. On the way, I found a lot of different kinds of fruit trees so I gathered some of them for food. This forest was oddly flourished with a large abundance of a variety of fruits and shrubs. So, food was not a problem, nor would it be due to what Gaiana-sama gave me.

Of all things, I didn’t want to use the food from the Inventory just yet. They are my emergency rations. After all, I don’t know how long I will have to stay in this world. I would like to save the food that I am familiar with for when it is really necessary. Or when I am feeling homesick.

Those fruits are safe to eat after I verify them through the appraisal skill.

They taste kind of … weird- as in different cultures kind of weirdness-but not so much. They do taste like fruit, so I have no rejection toward them.

By the time that I made it to the area that I had marked on the mini-map, the sun was already setting on the horizon. I took longer than expected.

I’m not sure how long the animal will be asleep for so for now, I need to secure a resting place.

I guess for now a cave or so will do? I have never built a house before in real life but I did learn how to make houses inside the Virtual Reality Games that I had played before.

This cliff looks both strong and secure. There’s no monster or animal or beast near here, too. The location that I am at was at the edge of a weirdly shaped land, with a river right next to it.

Okay, water is now secured so let’s make my house.

Let’s see… Earth magic…

According to the God of Knowledge, Kareli-sama, he had granted me the Ability to Comprehend All Magic. Which I admit might be the most OP of all skills/talents/abilities that was given to me. Was this very okay?

Okay, let’s test my control of magic…

I put my backpack away into a tree branch as I sit down on the earthen ground. Okay, feel the earth… and slowly, a little at a time, collect the soils… Good.

Now, let’s try that with my eyes closed.

I experiment with my control of magic, from a little bit of earth at a time to a large amount. I change the shape of the soils into blocks and compressed them as a means of practicing earth magic. I did it slowly at first and then I increase the amount of magic quantity and quality over time.

I did this until I got used to using Earth magic, enough to know how to manipulate rocks and harder earth. Although, it had only taken me a couple of minutes for it.

Okay, with this, I should be able to carve the cliff’s rocks right? Those rocks didn’t look like limestone, either.

“Appraisal.” I put my hand out toward the rock that made up the cliff as I chanted out Appraisal.

Oh? Granite and Marble rock? Those are good rocks for building!

Good. I decided. From now on, this is my home. I used Earth Magic and Water Magic together, it helped me curved out the rock smoother and more effective. Although I was really careful at first since I haven’t practiced using Water Magic before. I was able to use it anyway, even though it was only a tiny amount at first.

First was a small entrance that could be used as a door for me. Two meters in height and half a meter wide is enough. After that, I made the hallway a little bit longer and made an area for my shoe closet.

I continue to make the hallway to the living room. Gradually, I made two stairs and lower the level of the floors as I made the kitchen, the dining area, the bathroom, the washroom for bathing and showering with a water drainage system, and two storage rooms. After that, I made my bedroom.

Solitude huh… Would I be able to survive? I’m not really good at interacting with people but I wasn’t a lone-wolf, either.

Even during the times that I isolate myself away from everyone else, aside from my family, I was still playing virtual games. So, I was never truly lonely.

But now that I am here in this world, I have no goal, no family or friend, and have no clue as to what I should be doing.

It just doesn’t really feel real somehow.

At this rate, I might become something bad…

Stop it. It’s no use thinking about it. For now, I can only do what I can do.

Deciding on my course of action, I went back inside my new home and sit by the wall where the candle is at. This should provide me with enough lights to read. Even though the floor was cold and slightly rough, it was an okay setting location. As this was only for temporary, I don’t see the needs to smooth out the rock underneath my b.u.t.t yet.

The first book that I read was from Bellaphor-sama, the book about this world.

This world was called Woruim, or in the language of the god, Woriathristeliaruimanithia – what a long-ass name- so Woruim. It is a world surrounded by sea, much like earth. Only, it was slightly larger than earth and has three moons- red, white, and golden blue? What the hell? And there are only three continents in this world. Those continents are Comatas, Tithonus and Diosynosa. Alongside with plenty of islands in between the three continents.

Currently, I am on the Comatas Continent, deep within the Forest of Ignamita, to the East of the Kingdom of Human, to the South of the Fairy Kingdom.

The Forest of Ignamita was a forest that expanded for over 15000+ square miles, wide, with a rocky mountain plateau in the middle as it is surrounded by large tree forestry. It wasn’t a Forbidden Forest but it is turning into a Forbidden Forest due to the high amount of monsters ratio here. In the past ten years, the rate of monsters in this forest has increased to overwhelming large numbers. Causing a large number of deaths and causality from the surrounding villages, towns, and cities.

This world has nine races. The Gods called it the Nine Races of Life; Human, Elf, Gnarm(what this world called their Dwarves), Giant, Demon, Demius(Demi-human), Fairy, Spirit and Dragon.

In this world, all of the Nine Race is pretty peaceful toward each other due to one common enemy.

The Choros Teras.

According to the Gods and Goddess, Choros Teras are Outsiders who invaded this world for their magic and mana source.

Had Gaiana-sama not had sent me to this world, beings like this might come to Earth.

Choros Teras – Beings that come to life by stealing magic from the world. They can cause harm to all lives in Woruim. Literally, translate to Space-Monsters. They can only come out at Night times and within Dungeons or Mazes. Or in some special cases, in dense mana areas such as cemetery and ancient battlefield.

They eat Mana from the world so when they die, they give mana back to the world. Those that kills the Choros Teras can absorbed the mana, which has already been refined within the Choros Teras’s body before it was released into the world upon their deaths.

Once Choros Teras died, they dropped things like armor, clothes, gems, general items, herbs, jewelry, runes, weapons, and gold from within their internal space. After all, they are called Space-Monster, so each of them will have a small internal space within themselves.

Although they are called Space-Monsters, it is more accurately to call them Space Elemental Monsters from another plane of existence. As they don’t leave a body behind upon deaths.

Choros Teras really like minerals, such as Gold, Silvers, Irons, Cobalt, Copper, Lead, Nickel, Steel, Tin, Zinc, Mercury, Chromium, Sodium, Tungsten, Titanium, Magnesium, Palladium, Cadmium, Iridium, Tantalum, Niobium, Osmium, Uranium, Ruthenium, Actinium, Caesium, Mithril, Adamantine, Orichalc.u.m, Meteoric Iron, Dark Iron, Cold Iron, Crimson Iron/Scarletite, Jade Silver, and Platinum. This made it hard for this world’s currency to flourish into richness since it was very hard to kill those Choros Teras.

One thing that the Choros Teras really Hates – with capital intended – was Lightning Ores/Crystal/Gem/Metal/Water and Light Ores/Crystal/Gem/Metal/Water and anything that has been Blessed by the Gods. So Adventurer will always have their weapons, armors, accessories, and things blessed by the Temple before they go out to hunt.

Due to being an Outsider, the Choros Teras cannot use any magic that has Esoteric, Alchemy-infused, sacred geometry imbued, faiths fusion, sacred mystic shapes or symbols and totems in it.

In exchange, people who died due to the Choros Teras have their souls erase from the world. This causes Celenius-sama to be very Mad – With the Capital-M intended – and Sad, as she controls and governs over the rate of Birth in Woruim. And that was only possible if the soul was still intact.

The ratio of the Choros Teras giving birth was very high. And like any being in a magical world, they can also level up.

Unlike Dragon, Demon, and Elf, who have a high innate magical ability but a low birth rate, the Choros Teras have a high birth rate and an average innate magic capacity. Extremely high birth rates.

According to the gods, Dragon only give birth once every 100 years or so and only One Mate in their Whole Life. Demons only give birth once every 150 years and must rest their body for 100 years, a cooldown, basically. The elves too. As for Giant, they are another whole story, altogether.

Not counting humans, the Choros Teras used magic to give birth. And one time can easily give birth to up to 50 offspring for the normal Choros Teras. As for a Queen Choros Teras, they could give birth up to a thousand at a time. In a way, they aren’t any different from ants colony in the way that they give birth. Only more extreme.

As long as there’s mana, the Choros Teras could give birth once a day. With the exception of the Queen, who can give birth once per week regardless if there’s enough mana or not, the normal Choros Teras give birth at a faster rate.

Luckily, only Neutral Gender Choros Teras can give birth. Male and Female cannot. If not, this world would have been run down by the Choros Teras already. And yes, the Queen wasn’t a female or male, but rather a Neutral gender. Even then, 20% of all the population on Woruim still made up of the Choros Teras.

At this rate, within 200 years, all the other Nine Races would be extinct.

This was why Celenius-sama requested my presence.

This world needs the lucks from my presence.

Anyway, moving on.

As for the Magic within this world, there are Five Elemental Magic and Four Neutral Magic. The Main Five Elemental; Fire, Water, Earth, Wood, and Air. The Four Neutral Magic; Space, Light, Darkness, and Summoning Magic – as in Summoning from another Realm that’s not within the Gods territories.

Which means that out of the 8 Magic, only four of the neutral magic-users are safe from the Choros Teras due to their magical aura make-up. The Choros Teras hates them, which makes the people from those elements deems more worthier.

Well, that makes sense. People who can use Space Element Magic can make Space Bags, Holding Bags, and other Magical Bags. While Light Magic-user can make light orbs that ‘purified’ the Choros Teras away from house and homes. And Dark Magic is the banned of the Choros Teras. If they touch the Dark Magic or its element, then they are dead. It is like the deadliest poison for them.

However, who and how many people have the four neutral magic elements? According to the gods and goddesses, only 1 in 1000000(millionth) of all the Nine Races are within the Four Neutral Magic alignment.

Asides from that, this world’s currency was also different from Earth. The form and looks of the coins might vary across different countries and races but the value was all the same. From lowest to highest; Copper Coin, Bronze Coin, Silver Coin, Black Silver Coin, Gold Coin, White Gold Coin, and then Continental Gold Coin.

Commoners usually use copper coins, bronze coins, silver coins, and at the highest and most expensive, black silver coins, while gold coins and above are used by nobles and merchants. Although, for continental coins, it was mainly used as exchanges between countries with large exchange quantity. Even merchants rarely used continental gold coins.

It seems that the money, the currency, are called Rhis (§). Like how Japanese Yen ¥, US dollar $, or Chinese Yuan ¥, the Human Kingdoms and Gnarm’s Kingdom’s currency are called Rhis (§), while the rest of the other races called it Erns(ξ).

Anyway, I live in the middle of a forest. I have no use for money and no need for it. But if I do… well, I will cross that bridge when it comes.

As for other things such as medicine… there’s two kinds of medicines. Potion and Healing spells. If you have Light Magic, Water magic, or Wood Magic, then you can use healing spells to a certain extent. However, they can only heal so much without you being a specific talent and having said specific abilities, such as a priest or a healer that can learn healing spells. Otherwise, you will still need healing from potions.

There are 9 grades of potions available in this world for the people. From lowest to the highest grade, it is; Low, Small, Minor, Medium, Stable, Large, High, Greater, and Elder.

When it comes to potions, the best potion was the one that is Labeled with Stable. It is the true midpoint of all the potion grades and it was the only one that will never have any side or ill-effect behind. Although, it is a rarity that an alchemist could brew a Stable Grade Potion. It was so rare that only 1 out of 1000 Alchemists could do it, and the success rate was also 1 in 10000 per patches, too.

Commoners mainly used the low, small and minor potions as it was the cheapest. However, like all effective medicine out there, it tastes extremely bitter. There hasn’t been anyone who could truly alter the taste yet. The most that they could do was made it slightly sweet and fruity.

And yet, within those grades of potions, the price spike up the higher the quality of the potion it was. Still, the effects from those higher-quality potions was really life saving; the greater and elder grade potion could even revived someone who had just died. Of course, that is only if that person had died within the 60 minutes time frame. Otherwise, it wouldn’t work. And the body must still be hosting the soul, too. Otherwise, you would only revive an empty corpse and inviting a ghost to possess that body.

Still, with my knowledge from the Gods, I know that there was one Tier of Potion above the Elder rank. It was The God tier. This God-tier potion was the potions that all the gods use… They never use any lower-grade potion because it has no effect on them.

Sigh… This world is a Rank B world huh…

With my current sense of surrealism, it will be hard for me to survive if I don’t practice and train myself. Especially in the Four Neutral Elements Arts and Magic.

“Greeting, System 77777.” I greeted back, feeling slightly unreal. In the current Earth that I was born into, PDA A.I. like System 77777 was available to anyone who can afford it. I used to have a Grade-A Personal Data Assistance Artificial Intelligent that help me out during research for my college classes. However, once they found out that I took Toxicologist and Chemical Engineering as my Specialty, the Federal Galactic Government decided to update the PDA AI grade-A into a Grade-SS A.I.

So, I am pretty used to talking with A.I systems.

[How do you feel?]

The System was slightly cold but not indifferent.

“Fine., if not slightly bewildered. Also, System 77777 is a long name. Can I call you Nanako?” I asked, already trying my best to run away from reality.

[As you wish, host.]

“Now, could you do a procedure check for me? What do I need to do now and things like that.” I asked. Currently, what I need is something stable enough to stabilize my senses.

The sound of a computer peeping softly can be heard from within my mind. For a couple of minutes, System 77777, who I decided to nicknamed Nanako, was very silent.

She came back, “Yeah?” I asked back, completely feeling like I’m not even here. The realism feeling just doesn’t feel real just yet. And that wasn’t good.

[I had contact the higher up and they had given me a list of things that could help you,]

“Oh? And what are those?” Higher up? Like Gods from a higher plane? The gods of this world? Or from a higher plane?

[They listed out some mission and quest. For now, please follow my instruction. This will be based on your choices.]

She said as a screen suddenly appeared in my vision. A dense holographic screen that feels like thick mana instead.

I clicked on level 1-10… and easy-to-make and understandable recipes show up.

Each recipe has the instruction on it along with a “Record” star…

The first recipe was Rice. How to cook rice over a campfire.

The second recipe was Flour. How to make flour from wheat.

The third Recipe was Boiled Egg. How to safely boil eggs over a campfire.

The fourth recipe was campfires fried egg using minimum cooking tools.

….

Yeah… This is really is beginning-level cooking. There wasn’t even any seasoning involve.

Let’s see, at level 11 was when seasoning recipes started to appear.

Then at level 51, recipes that have words like Dragon Meat, Wargile Meat, Rainbow Snakes, and monsters that are more or less from fantasy started to appear…

“…” Dragon meats? Which kind of dragon? Monster ones? Or Magical ones? Or as one of the Dragon Race*? (Referring to one of the Nine Race)

Seems unlikely to be from the Dragon Race… Probably a flood dragon or a komodo dragon. What was even a wargile?

At level 101, the recipes started to have words like Spiritual and or Magical foods.

This looks interesting. Should I research this world’s food a bit?

As for Shelter…

Well, there’s not much different from how building houses or building in Virtual Reality Games. It’s just that once the level of Mansoning reached 20, I can build a castle. And when it reached level 50, I can build a Magical House. For now, I have no interest in that.

As I live in a House/Cave anyway, I don’t need to worry about building a damn castle. I don’t like living in a castle, anyway.

What about Crafting?

Hmm… which one should I choose?

Should I make use of my knowledge and further it more in this world? However, this world is a magic world. Wouldn’t my knowledge send this world into hell stage if someone finds out? I don’t believe that I will be able to live by myself for 20 years with only Nanako and the soon-to-be-here companion beasts without any interaction with humans… However, yeah, it seems that such things will not be good.

Why? Because my view of this world was far too surreal. If I view this world as a game, then it would have turned me into something that’s not human in nature. If I view this world as a book, then my interaction with the residents of this world could have caused a lot of problems. If I view this world as something that is not my reality, then I might start indiscriminate killing.

Aside from that, what do I want to do?
