I’m Waiting for You in Ashes - Chapter 4
According to the others, Li Mengqing really wasn’t dead.
When she was found, she was covered in wounds and was tied up in the basement of the Bai Clan.
According to what the others said, after Huo Qing found her, he carefully accompanied and took care of her. He wished with all his heart that he could bring the entire world before her.
Of course, these were just rumors.
He had not revealed himself for over half a month after Huo Qing had left that day.
But today was different. It was the day of old man Huo’s death, so he had to attend.
Su Wan went through the discharge procedures for herself. Ning Huai Qing had come to pick her up.
Ning Huai Qing was a child that Huo Qing had taken in a few years ago. He was only twenty years old, and his ability to handle matters was outstanding, but when he smiled, his eyes were curved.
He took the few things Su Wan had left. As he got into the car, he gently patted her on the shoulder.
“Be careful, sister.”
The youth’s palm was wide, and even though she could not feel any warmth, she could imagine it.
Su Wan nodded and smiled politely, then let him drive the car into the house.
“Is Young Master home?”
Ning Huai Qing looked at her in shock.
“Young mistress, you have already married young master, why are you still calling him young master?”
“…” “Is that so?”
Su Wan was surprised. She touched her lips and laughed softly.
“I’m used to it.”
Ning Huaiqing stared into her eyes from the rearview mirror.
“Esteemed sister, are you happy to marry the young master?”
His bright black eyes inadvertently began to surge with a repressed dark light.
Su Wan looked at the scenery flying past by the window.
“Happiness… “Alright.”
When he returned to the Huo family, Huo Qing was sitting on the sofa, annoyed with a tie that couldn’t be tied.
Beside him was Li Mengqing, who was wearing a white dress.
She was still so beautiful, so noble, and her wounds were barely visible.
Her life of not being able to see the light of the year made her skin feel sickly pale. Coupled with her slim waist, it gave her an extremely beautiful feeling that was as weak as the wind.
Li Mengqing really came back.
Not only had she survived, she was even more beautiful than she was three years ago.
From the moment Su Wan came in, her dark gaze had been fixed on her face.
Su Wan pursed her lips, her expression calm as she gave a proper bow.
“Young Master, Miss Li.”
This kind of proper posture seemed to make Li Mengqing heave a sigh of relief.
Instead, it was Huo Qing’s eyes that lit up. His tall body jumped up from the sofa and held onto his tie as he passed it over to her with a haughty expression.
“You still know how to come back? You chose this lousy tie, it’s like you have a grudge against me, why can’t you tie it? ”
The man’s flying spirit was faintly reminiscent of his domineering attitude from three years ago.
Looks like finding Li Mengqing really made him feel good.
Su Wan lowered her eyes, avoiding Li Mengqing’s visit. She took the tie and started talking in a serious manner.
“Young Master, please take a seat.”
Huo Qing didn’t feel anything was amiss. He sat down in front of her and let her tie his tie and smooth out his collar.
During this process, the man’s gaze was locked on Li Mengqing, and from time to time, he would give her a comforting smile.
She was as thin as a ghost and seemed as if she could disappear into the wind at any moment.
Li Meng Qing’s hand that was hidden in her sleeve had clenched into a fist.
Looking at the intimate actions of the two, he forced a smile.
“Qing, I heard that you and Su Wan … “Married?”
Su Wan’s hands paused as she instinctively looked towards Huo Qing. As expected, she saw the man’s stiff face.
He was so happy, she thought, that he had forgotten.
Three years ago, he and Li Mengqing had been princes and princesses, and she had been following behind him all year round, a silent follower.
Thus, from who knows where, Su Wan had the courage to hold Huo Qing’s shoulder before he could speak, and she looked towards Li Meng Qing.
“Yes, Miss Li. Young Master and I are married.”
