Immortal Cultivator System - Chapter 99
The meeting had finished quicker than anyone predicted. Right after Hircen reported what he knew on Jian and his group, including the fact that the Red Sky Sword had been absorbed by the 12 years old, Giran had called off the meeting and retreated to his mansion with some elders and elite disciples. It was most likely to discuss things in a more private setting.
In the end Hircen and Daiyuu were left to do whatever they wanted, but the girl had been snatched away by Zhi Li to do ‘girly things’. Not that Hircen even knew what she meant since Zhi Li was more of a female gorilla in his mind than an actual girl. His view of her might have been the reason she always was angry at him no matter what he did.
He was never successful with girls anyway.
However now that he was free to walk around the sect freely, he didn’t really know what to do. He could go buy himself some cultivation materials and spend the rest of his time cultivating, but he didn’t feel like it. He had been slacking with his weapon training lately, so he had to get back to it. He was a versatile cultivator, a unique type of cultivator that was really different from the usual cultivators who just tried to reach new realms and used spells. Not to say those cultivators were bad, they were actually the ones who progressed faster. However while they were dangerous in duels, they weren’t all that threatening during battles except if they had horribly powerful spells and techniques.
It wasn’t like most cultivators went through battles during their lives, battles against enemies who weren’t mainly cultivators at that, but Hircen needed to get ready in case he had to fight against the Zhao Tribes once again. Those guys were simply too dangerous for him not to make sure he had all the advantages the next time he faced them. He had been useless that time against Indra Qiang, and it wasn’t going to happen another time.
So now that he knew what he needed to do, Hircen moved towards the Inner court. The court had a few small areas for training and one was perfect for weapon’s training. Well it wouldn’t help him with all the weapons he was used to wield since cultivators usually only used sharp weapons, while he used a wide variety of weapons.
Unfortunately, it seemed like he had come at a bad time. A huge crowd of disciples was covering the entire training ground and he couldn’t even see the mannequins with how dense the crowd was.
‘What the absolute hell is that ? A fight between inner disciples ?’ Hircen thought as he heard the disciples shouting. He entered the crowd and everyone started to make way for him after they experienced having their flesh cooked. Hircen always had an easy time in situations like that since no one could or would get close to him.
“Hey, isn’t that the dragon’s bane ?” A disciple suddenly asked. The other disciples all took a good look at Hircen and seeing that he was burning people naturally without even using a technique, they all gasped and the whole crowd erupted.
“Damn ! It’s the dragon’s bane !”
“Yeah it really is him !”
“Hey make way if you don’t want to get burned you dumbasses !”
While this was going on, Hircen just ignored all of them and focused on what laid before him as he continued to walk. Three disciples were fighting, but it wasn’t a three way fight. It was a two on one, with the one actually destroying the two others.
The disciple looked completely deranged with his eyes completely white as he foamed at the mouth.
“Can anyone explain what I’m looking at ?” Asked Hircen as he finally reached went through the crowd and went besides the elite disciples who were watching the fight unfold.
“Well it’s crazy Kuo fighting against those two weaklings who thought they had a chance. We even charged them more so they wouldn’t want to fight, but they still went with it. Can’t say we didn’t warn them.” One of the elite disciples responded while not even looking at Hircen. All of them had been in the sect for a long time, they all knew Hircen and he had been a valuable but otherwise forgettable inner disciple before he left the HQ for the Buddha Free States.
“Crazy Kuo ?”
Hircen guessed that this crazy Kuo was most likely the berserker in front of him who looked thin as hell but was literally choking one of the disciples in the air while stomping on the other’s face.
“Ah ! We gotta hit a weak point !” The disciple being strangled said. Getting the message, the other disciple suddenly pointed his opened palm at Crazy Kuo’s genitals and fired a blast of Qi.
” Wow ! Did he just try to blast to his nuts ?!” A disciple exclaimed.
“What do you mean tried ? He just blasted that guy’s nuts for sure.” Another disciple who was watching Crazy Kuo’s fight for the firs time said. All the other disciples started to laugh at him as if he had said the funniest shit they had ever heard, and he understood why that was when Crazy Kuo growled like an animal.
“R-Reset…Reset Moon !” The monster in human’s form yelled before lifting his leg. He looked at the disciple who had just sent the Qi blast and smiled wickedly.
“S-Shit ! Help me I can’t move !” He yelled. His legs had been crushed before he was taken to the ground, so he had nowhere to run and that leg looked like it was ready to reduce his head to a meat paste.
“Argh ! Damnit, take that !” The disciple who was being strangled yelled as he freed himelf using his hands before using his legs to stick himself to Crazy Kuo’s arm. From that position he started to break Crazy Kuo’s arm, causing the deranged disciple to fall to the ground while screaming.
“Well damn, this guy is finished.” Hircen said.
“No, this can’t possibly end badly for Crazy Kuo. Those guys had no chances from the start.” The same elite disciple said. Hircen looked at him in shock before looking back at Crazy Kuo.
“He is that good ? Is he an elite disciple or something ? Because he looks like he went through hell and he can still fight like he hasn’t lost a single bit of stamina.”
“An elite disciple ? No , he is an inner disciple and a fairly fresh one at that. We call him Crazy Kuo, but his real name is Li Kuo.”
