Immortal Wife Omnipotent Father - Chapter 8 Spiritual Vein
“M-mommy what are you doing? I just w-wanted to play with my cars.”
Mal walked out in the morning to see Ether sitting on the couch nervously while Yasmin held one jade-like hand on her head and one her lower stomach.
“Silence, this Empress is checking your spiritual vein. You are at the ideal age to start cultivating.”
Mal looked at the small toy cars and other toys scattered on the living room floor, toys Mal created himself with the scrap and recycled material in the backyard. He was close friends with the old lady who ran a textile shop at the local shops and would get some fabrics at great prices.
It appeared Yasmin had picked her up from where she was playing and carried her over to the couch.
“I feel weird”
Mal couldn’t take it and stormed over before pulling Yasmin’s hands away from their daughter.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“Hmph, this Empress is testing her daughter’s spiritual vein. She has an Earthly Veil – it isn’t too bad and only appears in one in ten thousand people.”
“You are frightening her! Do you truly consider her your daughter!?”
Yasmin felt her heart flutter in her chest as she looked away from Mal is shame. She only tested her spiritual root because she cared for her daughter. Back in the world of cultivation, she would never had lowered herself enough to test someone else’s spiritual veins.
“Well? Answer me.”
“She is this Empress’ daughter, why would we not care for her? I do this because I do Which is also why I want to check yours.”
Yasmin’s had turned her face away from Mal as her ears turned red. She didn’t realize that by turning her face to the side, her right ear, giving her away her shyness, were directly in front of Mal’s eyes.
Mal wasn’t one to just allow Yasmin to do whatever she wanted in such an overbearing manner, but she grabbed him with red ears as she pushed him into sitting on the couch with a strength Mal couldn’t resist.
Yasmin, despite only cultivating for a short while coming back, had already reached the second stage of Qi Condensation. When she was at the first stage it took three officers working in conjunction to restrain her, and that was when she was being careful not to cause any serious injuries. Now that she was at the second stage, her strength had already stepped beyond what an ordinary mortal could achieve.
Despite her slender frame, Yasmin treated Mal like treating a child as she places one hand over the top of his head and the second on his lower abdomen and became even more shy as she felt his blood pulsing.
“Don’t resist, this Empress does not wish for you to come to harm.”
“Papa?”
Mal didn’t have a chance to respond as he immediately felt a strange flow of something flow through him from his head to lower stomach. He was so surprised his mind was filled with confusion and all words were lost.
“What a disappointment. You do not possess a spiritual root, making cultivation impossible.”
“What is that supposed to mean?” Mal subconsciously asked.
“Do not worry, this Empress will look after you for the rest of your life. This Empress will remove anyone who stands in your way.”
Mal came to his senses and felt his mind filled with questions. He didn’t say anything however and instead observed Yasmin, who was staring coldly at his stomach as she moved her hands around as if inspecting something.
Her red ears however, betrayed the real reason she still had her hands on him.
