Katherine had difficulties in fighting the guards because her body still felt weak having tied up with silver chains for hours but she’s still trying to counterattack. Guard 1 gave her a flying kick and he smirked when he saw that it caused a cut on Katherine’s face. Katherine cursed feeling the soreness of the wound. “Lord Travis was right. Your blood is so sweet and smells delicious.” Guard 2 said then licked his lips as if he tasted her blood. Another attack from behind was given to her by Guard 3 that she wasn’t able to notice and it sent her to the ground. The guards took the chance to grasp her to keep her from moving and tied her again with the silver chains. She winced of pain. “Sorry about that. We should make sure that you can no longer escape from us. Lord Travis will cut off our heads if he will not find you once he return.” Guard 1 said and help Katherine stand on her feet. Suddenly, they heard a loud howl from behind. Katherine weakly smiled hearing her wolf’s voice.

The guards were flabbergasted seeing a huge wolf vampire infront of them. Katherine felt relieve when she saw that Celeste was above Hunter waving at her. The wolf howled again and one by one, Drake and the rest appeared infront of them but Katherine furrowed her forehead when she saw Athan’s, Alaric’s, Blade’s, and Kieran’s state. Their clothes were ruined and their bodies were full of scratches that were beginning to heal.

“What happened to you?” Katherine mind linked the guys. “Ask them!” Athan said looking at the girls irritably. “Tell you the story later. How are you?” Amber said diverting the topic. “What do you think?” Katherine asked.

“Let her go and we will spare your lives.” Drake said angrily seeing Katherine’s condition. “Lord Gregory, what a surprise? Lord Travis and Lord Luther will be happy to see you.” Guard 1 said not paying attention to Drake’s warning. “I’ll be happy to see them too. Let her go and we will talk about it.” Gregory said. “That won’t do Lord Gregory. You must come with us. Your punishment might be reduce if you express sincere regret about you’re wrong doings infront of your brothers.” Guard 2 said making Gregory laughed. “As far as I remember, I have no brother at all.” Gregory said. “If you say so. Don’t say that we didn’t warn you. Hold her!” Guard 3 said and redied themselves for an attack.

“Let’s just finish this fast. I want to go home, take a bath, and sleep soundly in my bed. I feel like a poop!” Alaric said making the girls giggled but became serious when the boys looked at them with raised brows. “Okay, let’s rock and roll!” Blade shouted then all of them vanished into thin air.

Few minutes later, Vladamir, Cassius, Rodolfo, and Silas arrived at the place. “Looks like our help is not needed here.” Vladamir said seeing how the opponents are being thrown to every side of the place. “Yeah, I was really excited but I guess those kids can handle the situation themselves.” Cassius said. “As usual, we’re just here to clean up the mess later.” Rodolfo said. “Why don’t we take a seat and just enjoy the show.” Silas said that made the rest laughed.

“Done!” Kieran said while cleaning his hands that was full of blood. “Same here.” Dawn said giving a high five to Thana and Amdis after tackling atleast 10 guards attacking them. The only one left was the one holding Katherine tightly. The man was shaking because of fear. All of their attention was on him. Hunter howled and the man hurriedly let go of Katherine and ran for his life. “Hunter, let him go!” Drake shouted when the wolf tried to catch the man. He immediately approached Katherine and even the chains will hurt him, he removed it from Katherine.

“Baby…” Katherine said. “I’m here.” Drake said making her smiled. “Everyone, let’s go home.” Drake shouted and the rest nodded before disappearing alternately. “Thank you.” Katherine whispered. “No need to say that. You’re my mate and I will do everything just for you.” Drake said then kissed Katherine’s forehead. “I love you.” Katherine said but it was too soft for Drake to hear. “What did you say?” Drake asked but Katherine is already sleeping on his arms.
