Impenetrable Dungeon - Chapter 32
“All of you kneel before the One and True Emperor!” the minister’s voice once again rang throughout the hall almost sounding like a shriek. Everyone on the bottom floor slowly and hesitantly kneeled before the Silver Sparrow Emperor. However, not everyone chose to show obedience and respect towards the Silver Sparrow Emperor. Instead, some showed disgust and contempt at his show of might and wanting everyone to kneel before. They thought that his eyes were on top of his head looking down upon them. In spite of that, no one made a scene as they knew the power that the Silver Sparrow Emperor held in his hands. This not only referred to the Silver Sparrow Empire that he governed but also his cultivation. However, not everyone was scared of him and there were some people present that had enough strength to stand up to him without fearing the consequences. One such person was a man dressed in tattered blue robes being lead into the hall by another ball of blue light.
“Silver Sparrow you are still as stuck up as ever I see,” the blue-robed man said.
“The Silver Sparrow Emperor glanced at him from the corner of his eyes but he didn’t acknowledge his presence. Instead, the minister by his side spoke for him, “Impudent! How dare a lowly person like you dare to talk to the Emperor like that!” His high pitched shrieking voice echoed in the silent room.

The man in blue robes laughed heartily when he heard what the minister said, “Silver Sparrow you are still as mute as ever I see even needing some else to speak for you. I guess that rumour about you trading your tongue for power was true. So is the rumour about you having a deal with the devil also true?”
The moment the man in blue robes said that the atmosphere in the room suddenly become colder. Mist started forming around the Silver Sparrow Emperor as his power leaked out from him. In response, lightning surrounded the man in blue robes as he stared at the Silver Sparrow Emperor with a smile.
“These two sure have a bad temper,” Marcus said as he casually watched the show before him like watching clowns in a circus. “It’s a wonder how they were able to reach their level of power with such unstable minds. Oh look they are about to fight.”
“Thunder Saber do you want to fight?” the Silver Sparrow Emperor asked in a deep voice.
“I am not afraid of you Silver Sparrow,” Thunder Saber responded, “I am more afraid that you won’t dare to fight me for fear of losing against me.”
“Hahaha, your sharp tongue is as sharp as always Thunder Saber.” A loud booming voice suddenly said from behind them. There a large man the size of a bear was being led by a blue ball of light. “If you are going to fight then why didn’t you invite me?” Suddenly an invisible pressure enveloped the room as the man walked forward.
“Mammoth why are you here?” Thunder Saber asked, “Aren’t you supposed to be holed up somewhere hiding from… no way!”
As Thunder Saber was speaking, Mammoth took out a silver staff intertwined with thick green vines.
“Thunder Saber look at my new toy!” Mammoth said. “Is it nice?”
“No, how?” Thunder Saber asked in disbelief his voice cracking in panic.
“What how?” Mammoth asked.
“How did you get that staff?” Thunder Saber asked.
“Oh! I just took it from a corpse which I passed by while on my sightseeing tour,” Mammoth nonchalantly replied, “Anyway let’s fight!” As the words left his mouth he suddenly dashed forward leaving behind after images. He swung his right fist towards the Silver Sparrow Emperor and Thunder Saber. As he unleashed his fist the Silver Sparrow Emperor and Thunder Saber felt overwhelming might encompass them wanting to crush them. Feeling this might Thunder Saber swung the golden saber that suddenly appeared in his left hand. Thunder streaked through the air as his swing slashed towards Mammoth. Meanwhile, the Silver Sparrow Emperor gathered his fist before unleashing it in a flash of blue light. The three attacks raced towards each other as the onlookers watched with bated breaths. Just as the three attacks were about to collide a snort resounded in the room. Suddenly the three attacks disappeared as if they were never there. Instead, a man dressed in a simple white robe stood in the point where the three attacks would have met. The man at the three attackers with anger in his eyes, “How dare you…attack me!” Suddenly the man released an overbearing aura which forced everyone in the room to collapse on the ground. The aura spread to every corner of the room even reaching the pocket dimension that Marcus and the others were in. Gaia and the ten warriors with Marcus felt an overwhelming power trying to crush their bodies into dust. Then they felt a calm energy flowing into their bodies which instantly erased the overwhelming power that tried to crush them. The man in the simple white robes suddenly gazed towards Marcus with undisguised anger in his eyes. Malicious intent radiated from his eyes as he slowly unsheathed a longsword hidden in his robes. The crisp cry of a sword was heard in the room followed by the sound of sharp winds blowing. The man in white robes thrust his sword towards Marcus creating a line of blue light. “Power of Infernal Frost eh?” Marcus voice suddenly echoed in the room. It sounded ethereal as it reverberated throughout the room. “It’s not half bad but your Sword Qi is still too young to try and contest with mine.” Suddenly Marcus’ gaze flashed and the time slowed down as if it was slowly freezing. However, it didn’t last long as time quickly resumed. However, when time sped up again the longsword in the white-robed man’s hands and the blue light was nowhere to be found.
