In A Cultivation World With A System - Chapter 1
Jun Feng was walking home from school when it happened. A truck came out of nowhere and rushed straight towards him, giving him no time to dodge, let alone move further than an inch before it crushed him below it, causing Jun Feng unbearable pain, but that quickly dissipated as his life rapidly ended.
Xinghai Forest Inner Regions
A young man was laying in the middle of a blood soaked grassy area, covered in wounds everyone one can see, bleeding madly. The young man, who was seemingly dead, started twitching his fingers, and letting out groaned breaths.
“Didn’t I die to that truck driver? Why am I suddenly in a forest?” Jun Feng was trying to figure out what happened when an upload of memories, foreign to him, entered his mind, causing him unbearable pain. Once the pain ended, Jun Feng finally found out why he was inside of a forest.
“It seems like I really did die, I just transmigrated, huh.” Jun Feng chuckled. He had always wanted something like this to happen, so he doesn’t really mind. What bothers him the most is the memories he gained. His current body also has the same name as him – Jun Feng. This Jun Feng is just quite more unfortunate than him.
The world Jun Feng is currently in is called Amos, a cultivation world. The strong are respected and the weak are disdained in such a world. Jun Feng was born into the royal family of the JiuHun Empire, one of the strongest current Empires residing on the Hozu Continent. He should naturally have great talent as his father – the Emperor had a grade 6 talent, whilst his mother, a concubine, had a grade 4 talent. Yet the end result when he was tested was that he had no talent in cultivation, and even until this day 16 years later, he still remains as a wastrel with no cultivation. Even though his father the Emperor no longer doted nor cared about him, his brothers born from different mothers found him to be an eyesore and sent assassins after him, resulting in his inevitable death inside this Xinghai forest.
Jun Feng let out a deep sigh after sorting through the memories about this bodies life. He can already guess as an avid novel fan that this body was most likely poisoned when young, resulting in a crippled constitution. His mother was very popular with the Emperor, so it is not impossible that someone came up with this plot out of jealousy.
Jun Feng looked down at his wound covered body and silently wondered how long it would take him to heal, if even at that. He had tried to gather Qi using a cultivation method in his memories, but doing so brought him a searing pain from his navel – the location of his dantian.
“Will I not even be able to cultivate in this world, even though I am not the original Jun Feng?” Lamented Jun Feng. He found that no matter how much he tried to draw Qi into his body, it only brought him unbearable pain and worsened his wounds, causing him to give up. When he was about to get up and attempt to find a better spot to rest and recover, a transparent box he thought would only be in games appeared.
