- Chapter 212 Resident Evil Zero
Bihn Owo felt his mind spinning from the many relations bombarded at him.
And after the creepy massacre he witnessed, his consciousness zoomed back to the dark and spooky streets.
[Resident Evil Zero!]
The words sent chills down his spine. And sure enough, a familiar pop-up screen appeared before him.
[Pick your mode.— Easy, Normal, Hard, Are you insane?]
Those were the 4 modes he saw.
Bihn Owo dared not gamble, choosing easy mode, lest he got his ass handed to him like other times.
What??
Bihn Owo now found himself in a chopper alongside many others.
Instinctively, he knew these people flying with him. From the moment he emerged in the Chopper, he felt them so familiar, like long-lost buddies finally reunited.
As for him, he found himself in the body of a young girl called Rebecca Chambers.
She had short brown hair. Her military attire couldn’t hide her sense of nativity and youth.
Where were they?
From his understanding, they were headed to the suburbs of Racoon city to investigate the many bizarre murders taking the government by storm.
They were sent in to explore the situation.
Bihn Owo stared out his window, seeing they were flying over a massive forest that spanned for miles and miles without end.
This region was called Racoon forest.
.
Boom!
A massive noise shook his ears as his body stayed crazily, mushing on his seat belt for his dear life.
Oh, no!
His mind was clouded, and his body was cold as the tension in the air continuously rose. The few people surrounding and watching him were also anxious.
“What is going on? How can there be a problem so fast?”
“Wipe! It shouldn’t be the work of those disgusting creatures, right?”
“My God! I was scared just now. The explosion came too suddenly. Now my question is… Will they be alright? Can they survive the fall?”
Everyone was anxious, too nervous for what was to come. Bihn Owo felt the same.
Hell!
He still didn’t know what was going on. What caused the explosion?
“Engine failure! Emergency landing!… Brace yourselves!”
Bihn Owo asked no more questions, lowering his head in a hunched position like the others.
His heart was hammering fast, and his body vibrated from the many tremors the chopper gave.
They’re going to crash! They’re going to crash!
~Bang.
Something hit the back of his head, and he saw his HP go down by several points.
No!!!!
They haven’t even faced the real danger, yet this HP was already going down?
.
According to his experience, he might lose a good amount of HP points from this ordeal if he didn’t protect himself well!
With his head down and hands on the back of his neck, he tightened his grip and moved closer to the seat in front of him.
No way! He had to protect his precious HP points.
Brrrrrrrr~
The chopper spun crazily, swaying left, right, and circularly the lower it descended.
Until soon, a part of it smashed Into a thick tree branch, making their fall even more dangerous.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
The propellers sliced through leaves and weakened tree branches, swirling an intimidating wind that could plunge any already cut object like a dart.
“Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!”
Everything happened so fast.
~Bam!!!
They crashed.
~Ahhh!
Many of them bellowed, slowly raising their heads to check the situation.
Luckily, no one died or was hurt badly. At most, they only had a few objects hitting them during their fall, which wasn’t anything major.
Bihn Owo purses his lips, feeling very aggrieved.
His HP var was now 99% rather than 100.
One might look down on this 1%. But for him who has experienced the many realms, losing this much was like losing heaps of gold.
He felt an invisible jab to his heart from the loss.
.
~Drrrrm!
He slid open the damaged chopper door, heading out with the group. The door was similar to that of a van. One just had to slide it open. It was heavier since it was for a military chopper.
Bihn Owo was still in a daze from what just happened.
“Are you alright, Rebecca?” Captain Enrico asked.
“F–… Fine…”
“Good. Check the current position and Investigate the surrounding area.”
Right!
Bihn Owo nodded, pointing his weapon across the creepy foggy forest.
Don’t blame him, but the forest looked too strange. He felt something was watching them from a distance but didn’t know what.
Could it be?…
Ahhh–
He was so distracted by his thoughts that he accidentally stepped on a gruesome-looking corpse.
What???
Everyone gathered around, seeing many corpses lying on the forest floors with strange wounds and white, pupil-less eyes.
There was already a military vehicle that had been turned upside down too.
No doubt about it, these people were military officers too.
He has to investigate!
.
Bihn Owo made his way toward a silver briefcase not too far away from the corpses. But what he didn’t know was that at the moment he turned his back, a strange gooey slime slid down the corners of the upturned vehicle.
“Captain, take a look at this.” Bihn Owo commented, staring at the hidden files he uncovered from the silver briefcase.
[Court Order for transportation… Prisoner: Billy Coen, ex-lieutenant, age 26… Court-martialed and sentenced to death, July 22nd… Prisoner is to be transferred to the Regarthon base for execution.]
Everyone wore grim looks, already thinking the death of these soldiers was linked to the missing Billy Coen.
But only he knew it shouldn’t be the case. However, he found he couldn’t enlighten them on the dangers ahead, no matter how much he tried to squeal.
F***!
Was the realm forcing his beloved teammates to death?
