In Naruto With The Power Of One Piece. - Chapter 23
Two weeks passed, Yama had teamed up with a random jounin and they killed a few jounin and some chunin level shinobi. The jounin who teamed up with Yama just followed him because Pakura, Friday, and Yama did what they wanted and he had no say in the matter.
There was no head-on clash between the two sides yet, so Yama was yet to face the future fourth Raikage and Killer B.
On the 8th day, something happened that was beyond Yama’s expectations. Yama was sitting in Jiraiya’s camp, along with Jiraiya, Pakura, and Friday.
Yama saw Kiba’s father, or at least Hana’s Father. But he wasn’t quite sure, because he might have changed things and he might not be Kiba’s father but rather a different man, but he just assumed he was Kiba’s father because he looked kind of like Kiba.
(Hana is Kiba’s older sister)
Tsume and the man came to Jiraiya camp to ask permission to go back to the village because Tsume was three months pregnant. Tsume saw Yama at Jiraiya’s camp and was completely surprised.
“Yama, what are you doing here?”
Yama showed a small smile. “I’m here to fight for our village.” He said it sarcastically to make fun of Jiraiya, but Tsume didn’t catch his sarcastic undertone.
She came over to him, pulled his cheeks and rubbed his hair. “I knew you would grow up and make us proud.”
Yama smiled and said nothing.
“I heard from Aunt Luna that you left the village years ago, where have you been until now?”
“I’ve been traveling to various battlefields to help our village.”
“This is my little brother, I’m really glad to see you again.” She pulled him into a hug.
“Anyway, this is your brother-in-law, his name is Ida.” She pulled the chubby little guy next to her and patted him on the back.
“Ida, this is my younger brother, say hello.”
The poor guy already looked scared of Tsume.
“Hello.”
Jiraiya cleared his throat to get Tsume’s reaction, as she kept talking and ignoring them. Finally, she looked at Jiraiya, bowed, and apologized.
“I’m sorry, Jiraiya sama, I was just saw my younger brother again after years and got a little carried away.”
“It’s alright, what brought you here?”
“I want to go back to the village with my husband because I’m pregnant.”
Jiraiya gave in to their request and told them they could go.
“Sister, tell my mother that I miss her and that I will be home soon.” said Yama.
“Sure.” Tsume smiled.
Seeing the two, Yama wondered who his father was and what he looked like.
After a week Fugaku received a transfer order, he was sent to Iwa because according to them the situation in Iwa was not good and they needed some reinforcements. Yama and Fugaku both knew that was bullshit and the higher-ups were just trying to separate the two.
It was all within Yama’s expectations, they didn’t seem interested in attacking Yama either, which was good for him, and even if they were planning on attacking him, Yama had thought of a plan to deal with it.
And the result wouldn’t have been pretty for Konoha. Let’s just say that plan involved Yama wearing a black cloak with red clouds.
With Fugaku gone, Jiraiya didn’t want to get into a fight until Minato came to take his place, so Yama had about four days off from fighting the enemy, so he decided to claim the bounty of the Mist Swordsmen.
“Jiraiya, I’m heading to the black market and I’ll be back soon.”
“You can’t leave yet, it’ll be troublesome if they attack while you’re gone.”
“I didn’t ask for your permission, I was just informing you, and don’t worry, I may not be Minato, but I’m still pretty fast. I’ll be back before they wipe you out.”
“Sigh, kids these days.” Jiraiya sighed.
Yama, along with Pakura and Friday, left the place and headed to the black market. The black market wasn’t that far from their base, so he reached it pretty soon.
The three of them entered the building. The manager recognized Pakura immediately, but he was unable to recognize Yama. Rumor had it that Zoro was a child, but the manager couldn’t confirm it yet.
“Welcome to my humble shop, how can I help you?” the manager said as he looked at Pakura.
“I’m here to collect some bounties.” The manager thought Pakura was the leader of the group, but looking at the way Yama spoke, it was clear he was the leader.
The manager’s eyes then landed on Friday then back on Yama. “I’m sorry, I didn’t recognize you Sir Zoro, or should I call you Sir Yama from now on.”
“News travels pretty fast, huh, you can call me Yama from now on.”
“Very well Sir Yama, may I see whose bounty you’re here to collect?”
“There are a few.”
Yama took out the sealing scroll and placed all seven heads of the seven swordsmen of the mist.
The manager was completely stunned. There was another rumor about the disappearance of the 7 ninja swordsmen, but he never expected that all seven of them would be dead, especially at the hands of Yama.
The manager took a deep breath. “How did you manage to kill them all?”
“Does it matter?”
The manager shook his head and glanced at the bingo book. “If we add up all the bounties, the total comes to 302 million ryo.”
Yama nodded his head and proceded to take out the seven legendary swords. The manager was prepared for this in a way, but seeing all seven swords together was breathtaking.
“How much for these?”
“About a hundred million each, if we add them together with the heads, it’s about a billion ryo in total.”
“Okay, we’re in business.”
“Sir, we have a small problem, we don’t have a billion ryo with us right now, how about you come here after a week and collect the bounty?”
Yama had no problems with that. “Sure, give me some bear meat too, Friday loves it.”
He looked at Pakura. “Buy whatever you want.”
Pakura smiled. “I didn’t know bounty hunters made that much money, I’ll empty your pockets.”
