Infinite Adventure - Chapter 40 Chapter 38
Nearly a week later, Sora had finished taking over a part of Water 7 for his own use, and setting up a stage for his game. All he had to do was wait for the Marines and World Government to arrive, so he could start the game. He kept his haki active all the time, so he could know exactly when the game would start. He had already told everyone in his and Luffys crew. They each had a position they would take. Luffy and Sora would be the final bosses.

With his haki active he knew the World Government’s. CP0 agents had already arrived. Furthermore, there was four of them, all wearing tribal masks. Sora kind of expected that. Who would actually give the full information of an ambush away? Anybody could be listening in.
A day later, the Marines arrived. They brought all three Admirals and Tsurus team. Seeing Tsurus team, Sora called her and asked her not to interrupt the game. They could chase him all they wanted later, so she easily agreed. In the first place, she wasn’t meant to help them capture Sora. She was at Water 7 for her own chase.
Moira was also a distance away with Perona to Soras shock and joy. He had to wonder though, after they beat Moira here, would they still find Brook? ‘Probably,’ he thought.
After the Marines arrived, the Admirals went to discuss something with the people from the World Government, probably a plan to capture him. It wouldn’t help them though, once they got close to the island, Sora would steer them towards the entrance to his course by making lightning walls with his Towagan.
They would then be separated by 5 different paths. In these paths, there were Sanji, Zoro, Ussop and Clemmy in one. While the other had Nami, Kuina, Hina and Anna. They were each in a different room. In each room, participants had to pass a trial before moving on. Losers would suffer a punishment. Sora had given everyone freedom to decide the trial and punishment administered. He and Luffy each had their own. Chopper and Kaya were on stand-by for any serious injuries to Marines. Not the World government. Sora would eventually annihilate them anyway, why bother with them if not for Stussy and Kalifa?
Monet, Kyori and Cherry were mini-bosses participants had to deal with before Sora. Sora didn’t think anyone would make it to him, to be honest. Although he didn’t know what the trials would be, he simply didn’t see anybody making it to him. He hoped someone would though. He had a very fun trial planned.
Before long, the several Marine ships and World Government ships, as well as Moira, began to head towards Water 7 and Sora activated his Towagan. He quickly formed a maze that separated all the ships. This indestructible lightning maze would even stay after he left, making Water 7 a little safer. This was his way of apologizing to the residents for taking over a part of their island.
On board all the ships that were just headed to apprehend Sora, confusion and shock ran rampant. Akainu and his crew quickly decided to just keep moving forward along the walls, while others who had never experienced Soras lightning before attempted to break through the walls. They quickly came to the realization it wouldn’t happen, and began to follow the walls. Eventually, they all came across forks in the path and had to make a decision.
Many of them cursed Sora. They knew it was his doing. Who else could use lightning like that? It only managed to infuriate everyone. They realized he knew of their plans, and had made preparations. This didn’t matter much, he hadn’t run, so they still has confidence to subdue or kill him. Moira got excited because he thought he would soon have such a strong shadow. He didn’t realize though, that since he wasn’t a part of the game, Sora had sent Monet to catch Perona and send Moira back.
Moira was quickly dealt with and Perona was retrieved. After introducing himself quickly, Sora looked back at the maze. Perona had questions, like “who said you’re my husband?” But Sora ignored them for now. He could deal with her after the game was finished. It wasn’t like she could escape anyway. She soon found he was ignoring him and found a chair before sitting down angrily. If she didn’t know she had no chance against him, she would definitely have tried to attack him multiple times already.
Akainu was growing even more frustrated as time went on. He kept running into dead ends. Aokiji had already taken out his bicycle and began cycling around the maze at a much faster speed than others were going. He may be lazy, but this was a really troublesome job he wanted to deal with as soon as possible. Kizaru was just calmly making his way through the maze. The CP0 agents were doing the same. They were unfazed by anything. It seemed they didn’t care because they thought the job would definitely be completed.
The first to arrived was Kizaru. When he arrived and saw the 5 different paths labeled with different names. He clenched his fist and his lips twitched. Obviously, he knew he was being played with. Shaking his head in frustration, he led his crew into the Sword Path, Kuinas path.
Next Akainu arrived and entered the Justice Path, where Hina was. Aokiji arrived right behind him and quickly entered the Straw path. He was most curious about this one. This was the path of the Strawhats. When the four CP0 agents finally arrived they split up and 2 entered the Royal path, where Anna waited, while the other 2 entered the World path, where Nami was. It was in these paths that they would be tortured for awhile before a few of them made it out to face the mini-bosses. If any of them made it through that, they could choose between facing Luffy or Sora.
