Infinity Guardian System - Chapter 42 The Price Of Power!!!
Chapter 42 The Price Of Power!!!
Have you ever felt your body being diced before, cold machine hands morphed into sharp blades that tore apart muscle, slicing into tissues and bleeding out blood?
Only machines were adapted to this, for any human who does this might just be a mad monster.
Eyes shut tightly, cold green veins running all over the body, he drew out as much hair as he could trying to forget the pain of being cut open, alive.
“Open it all, reveal a line of bones that runs through every body to allow for an excellent passageway for the Cybernetic machines…” The listless voice of Surgeon Jessica rang out, the doctors around her rapidly typing away at their computers, which control the machines to tear up his flesh and muscles apart…
That alone in and of itself took about two straight hours to complete and by this time, Hael felt he would run mad from pain.
But the mask on his face render him unable to scream, only breath. And only right now did he realize how lucky it was to be able to breathe so easily….
“First Step Of Cybernetic Fusion Completed. A 99% accurate Linear path of entrance of the Cybernetic machine’s have been created…” The AI voice rang throughout the room as Surgeon Jessica’s eyes flashed.
‘A 99% Linear path success. That is very good, and only due to him keeping straight through the ordeal. Now all you need is to pass the next one…’ before ordering loudly.
“Begin the Cybernetic Transplant!” She ordered coldly and in the next instant, light instantly went off in the entire room, leaving only the green serum that Hael was and with the various holographic of his images…
“Cybernetic Transfusion process will commence in 3…2…1..”
“Process Successfully began!!!”
Immediately those words were mentioned, Hael’s heart almost stopped beating as a sense of intense and impending doom overwhelmed and in the next instant.
He was finally able to feel the needle that had been dug straight into his skull. As an object as hot as molten lava poured directly into his brain and quickly passed throughout the ripped open lines that have been cut through his veins… n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
That was more than enough for Hael to snap his eyes open, revealing bloodshot eyes that squirmed of veiny snakes, the size of his pinky!
“ROOOOOOOARRRRR” a horrifying roar boomed throughout the entire lab, as Hael roared out like beast, his paralyzed arm suddenly moving on its own and slamming directly onto the e glass that he was placed in, lines of cracks appearing on its surface.
‘He seems good to me, at least he has enough energy to shatter a glass that rival the strength of a brick by double!’
“Increase the glass’s durability by double, and increase the fusion process up to 60% speed!” She ordered as the doctors looked at each other In shock yet, their hands were like the machines they control, rapidly inputting the orders as Hael’s green veins began bursting out underneath his skin, creating patches of red blood, and on the line cut open on his body.
Incredibly tiny Nano-machines could be seen, running around the cut open lines in his body, and fusing rapidly with every part of the tissues in his body, with the aid of the robotic arms whose movements left tiny mirages in the air, a testament to their impossible speed.
The operation went on faster, but to Hael, it was worse. If the pain was like water rushing out of tap before, now it was like water rushing out of a dam, as his eyes turned even more bloodshot.
Slowly, strength was beginning to leave his body, and he felt himself disappearing into the darkness of oblivion…
[If you dare sleep, that will be the last time you wake up!] The system’s voice was like a gong rang inside his brain as his eyes snapped open once more and he smashed both hands on the glass, his hands digging through them, causing remnants of blood and green serum to spew out.
“Increase the glass durability by quadruple and increase the fusion process speed to 80%.” Surgeon Jessica commanded but it didn’t sit well with the doctors whose hands hung on their holographs before them.
“What the hell!!!? That will be outright murder, this level of fusion speed is already enough. Let us let the machines slowly do their job…” A male doctor wearing spectacles defended as Surgeon Jessica turned her head towards him…
“Increase the fusion process speed from 60% and now to 80%…. I order!” She said extremely slowly and clearly and with fear in their eyes, the doctors all continued rapidly typing on their monitors.
“ARRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHH’ A groan of pain escaped Hael’s lips as he felt hot lava squirming all over his body and slowly they made their way to his eyes as the terrible itching began.
The feeling of a thousand ants crawling all over his body, and Hael’s body began spasming.
[A Foreign Substance has Been Discovered Entering Into The Host’s Body.]
[Host’s Human Cells Are Now Fighting Back Against the Foreign Substances.]
[Host’s Human Cells are being destroyed by the System to facilitate better fusion process of the Supported Foreign Substance]
[Congratulations, Host’s entire 20% DNA has been replaced by the Foreign Substance]
“NOOOOOOOO!!!!” The roar of rage blasted out of Hael’s lips as he felt something strange.
The feeling of himself getting destroyed, as if he was being rid of his own Integrity forcefully. A feeling that caused an indescribable anger surging like waves through his veins.
[Host’s body is getting rapidly adapted to the Foreign Substance with the aid of the system…]
[Part of Host’s DNA Is being changed to accompany better Fusion and bring out the best state of the newfound source of power]
[ERROR! ERROR]
[Host’s cell body are too weakened to continue and the source is still delivering power.]
“Surgeon, His bodily cells are being destroyed faster than they can accept.”
“We’re slowly losing metabolism from him!”
“This is the last chance to save him, we need the operation to stop or he will lose his life due to cell disintegration!!!” Each and every one of the doctors roared out, yet Jessica’s eyes were unperturbed as she looked at Hael spasming uncontrollably…
“Continue the fusion process.”
“WHAT!!!?”
