In order to reach the next level you have to cultivate and fulfill certain requirements [with the exception of reaching Enlightenment Realm], furthermore the beast is represented on your body in the form of an Umbra (a tattoo) that manifests on different parts of your body.

Born like this until coming of age ceremony, except for a select few who don’t awaken anything. For the most part they are just children.

|No Umbra or any special abilities|

~Greater Mortal~

You reach this stage automatically if you complete your awakening ceremony and gain your first Umbra. During this stage the main goal is to train your body so that it can withstand the strain of having more Umbra.

~Foundation Establishment~

After absorbing your second Umbra and strengthening your body, this stage focuses on strengthening the soul. Through this you are able to manifest and form a soul weapon, which has advantages and drawbacks.

~Enlightenment~

After strengthening the Soul and manifesting your Soul Weapon, the Enlightenment Realm is where you merge your Beast Soul and Human Soul into one. In order to do this you have to begin to understand your own “Path Of Enlightenment”, giving you minor abilities which are for the most part unique (they can be taught to younger generations, meaning that people from Clans, Schools and Sects could have the same Path).

~Transient mortal~

In this stage you continue to understand and study your path abilities. This stage focuses on merging your body with mana, strengthening it beyond anything before this.

~Beast Lord~

In this stage you continue to understand and study your path abilities. While a Beast Lord you Synchronize your soul with the mana in your surroundings, greatly increasing the strength of your body as well as your beasts/magic.

~Beast King~

Deepen your understanding of your way of the beast. Expand the size of your soul, further increasing your strength and Granting increased mental strength and wisdom. It also grants a Domain like ability.

Beast Sage

Continue to expand the soul creating a true domain, as well as finish your path understandings.

You Merge your Soul with your Body, granting extreme physical and magical strength. Furthermore, due to the merge you are able to transform into your different Umbras as well as summon them.
