Into the Zombie World - Chapter 259: Seeing the Fiance Again
Ogis pounced towards the leader zombie with extreme speed.
Both of them have the strength of a final stage level two creature.
Swoosh!
Ogis dropped down and clawed the head of the zombie.
The zombie opened its arms as if it was welcoming Ogis.
However, contrary to it’s gesture, it actually dodged to the side, making Ogis’ claw miss its head by a huge margin.
Roar!
The zombie lets out a terrifying roar as it pounces towards Ogis who had missed its attack. The zombie reached its rotting hands and clasped Ogis’ wings.
Ogis felt the danger and he immediately spun his body in mid-air, allowing the zombie to only clasped a handful of air.
While spinning, Ogis attacked the zombie’s stomach when it least expected it.
With Ogis’ sharp mutated claws, a bloody wound immediately surfaced on the zombie’s stomach.
Roar!
However, the zombie managed to lean back at the last second, allowing it to evade most of Ogis’ claws. Only a shallow wound was created on its stomach but zombie blood kept on gushing out of it.
Roar!
As if it was enraged, the zombie lets out another ear piercing roar as it pounces towards Ogis again.
Seeing that, Ogis was not idle as he flapped his wings hard and levitated for a dozen meters in an instant. The zombie’s attack missed yet again, making it even more enraged.
If it could talk, it would surely say, ‘Get down here and fight like a man you mother fucker!’
Unfortunately it couldn’t. It could only release another roar to voice out it’s frustration.
Ogis swooped down again feeling elated at the zombie’s miserable situation.
‘That’s what you get for trying to harm my fiance, hmmp!’
Swoosh!
This time, as the zombie was still roaring madly, it did not notice that Ogis had pounced towards it yet again.
A white blur passed by it’s shoulder before its body rotated in full three-sixty. When it settled again, there was already a deep wound on its shoulder and only a piece of rotten skin was what was holding it in place.
Even though both of them are on the same level and stage, the zombie could not do anything to Ogis at all. With his agility in the air, the zombie could only watch as it gets slowly sliced by Ogis.
Ogis’ wings were not even fully healed at this point and he can already do this much damage to a creature of the same level as him.
Eagles are natural born hunters. Ogis, who was a mutated eagle, was even more terrifying than normal eagles. If he wasn’t ambushed previously, he would not even receive those injuries and that zombie that Nile and the others killed would not even stand a chance in a fight with him.
However, Ogis was still grateful that he became Nile’s pet. As a predator, he could tell that Nile was not to be trifled with and with his miraculous means, Ogis was sure that Nile would be able to bring him to the top, given that they would not die midway.
Shriek?
Ogis landed at a three branch nearby and let out a worried shriek. He was trying to probe if his fiance was still okay.
The remaining feathers on Ogis’ head quivered when a few seconds had already passed as he still did not receive any response from his fiance on the nest.
Ogis glared at the zombie angrily and if staring could kill, the zombie would have already been hacked into fine pieces by now.
Just as Ogis was about to dive towards the zombie again to finish it once and for all, he suddenly saw a movement in the corner of his eyes.
At the top of the nest, he saw his fiance’s butt wiggling left and right. The feathers on her butt jiggled as if it was indicating that it’s alive. A moment later, an eagle head popped out and slowly looked towards Ogis’ direction.
Ogis’ eyes went into a heart shape seeing that perky butt as well as the gorgeous eagle head that popped out. Besides that, Ogis also felt happy that his fiance was still alive.
The female eagle looked at Ogis with wide eyes. She thought she was seeing things. Her suitor disappeared suddenly weeks ago and she thought he was already eaten by the zombies. Hearing his voice earlier, she could not help but wiggle her butt in excitement.
A feather on her quivered elegantly as if it was inviting Ogis’ to come over.
Ogis’ has pursued her for more than a week and he has already gained approval. Unfortunately, just as they were about to start the ‘ceremony’, he suddenly disappeared.
Now that he’s back, the female eagle could not help but feel excited. Her imaginations ran wild as her feathers trembled elegantly.
At this point, she already forgot the threat that was below her.
Roar!
However, her imagination was immediately shattered upon hearing that roar. Unlike Ogis, she was only an Early Stage Level Two. It was normal that she felt threatened by the terrifying zombies below her. She could only hide her head on the nest again while letting out eagle cries.
Seeing the state of his fiance, Ogis remaining feathers on his head suddenly trembled due to anger.
‘How dare this ugly zombie interrupt our reunion!’
Shriek!
Ogis lets out an ear piercing scream as he directly dives down towards the zombie.
Swoosh!
His massive body swooped down like an arrow and the zombie only saw a flash of white before the world around it rotated.
A head flew out of its body as Ogis flashed past it before landing on the ground smoothly.
Zombie blood dripped on his claw as a glint could be seen on his eyes as he stared at the zombie head that flew in the air.
The eyes of the head were still wide open as if it was still alive.
It was only when the head dropped to the ground with a thud did its eyes become even more ‘lifeles.’
Ogis flicked his claws to get rid of the blood before he flew upwards, towards his fiance.
