This quest is an opportunity for me… but I can’t go right now. Right now in this situation I can’t use an excuse like ‘Let’s go seeking for a possible monster’, can I?

The villagers want to wait the return of the elder, and I have no opposition. If a search for it in the night I may suffer an ambush from a animal because of darkness, so i’ll go during the day, pretending to go to play outside.

The cobolds are humanoid dogs that have a weapon and might have a sort of armor, and the goblins are little humanoid monster that don’t have too much capabilities, and also they have at at most a club.

Both of them are formidable enemies right now, but I hope the swadow it’s a goblin.

Why? Because if I search for a footprint, I may excange the one of a kobold with the one with the one of an animal.

Well, consideration apart, let’s search first for a mark.

After 2 hours, 2 long hours of searching, I finally finded this… an footprint.

It’s a goblin footprint because of the size…

Ok… I’m not an hunter and also don’t have knowledge of goblin’s mentality, so… I think the best thing to do now is going in the direction of the footprint.

Half an hour has passed.

And finally I can see the goblin.

Wait… the size it’s the same but the colour is different, a normal goblin has a green skin, but this one has actually a colour tendent to dark violet/black.

Now I think that the quest it is completed, and going back and report this is of cours the safest course of action… but… it might be wrong, but I have the feeling that kill this monster here and now it’s for the best. And also I was thinking of experimenting a bit…

I think that attacking his heart or crystal is good but I think it’s best if I’ll quietly approch the goblin and using the knife to pierce his throat. The abdomen could have a bit of resistance towards a trust, so despite attacking the throat will give him a few second to couterattack, it have a 100% chance of killing him.

I’ll pick up a stone just in case of problem sourging.

I known that if there were normal quest, there were also hidden quest. The being used also the mechanics of games… well, they have influenced us originally.
