Isekai Slave Master - Chapter 11 The Mysterious Labrinth
After he had finished his bath, he realized that the expressionless maid was gone but he didn’t seem shocked despite not noticing when she had left.
As he got prepared to leave he found a change of clothes in front of the door to his relief so he quickly got changed.
He looked at the bathroom mirror and found that his clothes matched his appearance quite well as he wondered if that was a coincidence.
Opening the door, he received a scare finding the expressionless maid standing right outside.
“Don’t scare me like that.” He responded exasperatedly as he sighed.
She, of course, didn’t respond as he shook his head.
His eyes then showed a tinge of a surprise seeing the clothes she was wearing.
They were casual clothes, she was wearing a violet skin-tight sweater and a matching mini skirt.
He whistled at the sight as the clothes well-emphasized her beauty.
To his surprise, however, her eyes twitched seemingly annoyed but she had never shown such emotion before which confused him.
He had no clue what happened to this girl to land her in this state but he was aware of the type of condition she was in.
It was most likely some form of Schizoid personality disorder caused by external circumstances in growing up.
He could faintly sense that he was being watched from a while ago but the feeling grew stronger after leaving the bathroom.
They must’ve noticed what I’d done to her.
As the emotionless girl started walking away, he smiled carefreely and followed her.
He was once again led through the confusing structure as he was felt shocked at the size of this place.
They must’ve walked at least a quarter of a mile, he had seen hundreds of rooms, and the number of turns they had taken was also shocking.
The number of people necessary to maintain such a facility would have to be enormous but he hadn’t spotted a single person but the expressionless girl.
They had seemingly reached their destination as she stopped in front of a red door with a bloody eye design.
It seemed to be a crimson depiction of the commonly know fictional monster Cthulhu.
The danger signals were all of the place and Kakeru wasn’t stupid but at this point trying to escape would be more foolish.
This time to his surprise she didn’t stare at him and wait to enter but instead entered first as she disappeared from his vision.
He tried to peek inside the door but all he could see was darkness.
Must be some sort of magical spell.
Looks like I need to find a magus to add to my slave collection soon.
He sighed as he walked in with no knowledge of where he was headed.
The next time he opened his eyes, he found a small comfy room with two couches and a campfire.
There were bookshelves with books in them around the entire room and it was quite relaxing.
His attention then headed towards the expressionless girl but that was because his brand was already on her but his attention then went to the old man sitting on a couch next to her.
for visiting.
The old man lifted the book he was reading down and placed his bookmark before closing the book and looking up at him with a smile.
“Greetings Hero.” His withered voice reminded him of a tree that had lived it’s upmost life expectancy. It sounded much aged than any voice he had ever heard in his life.
However, his attention was instead directed on how the old man addressed him
Hero? Didn’t Erika also call me that?
He decided to be frank in this situation.
“Hero? I’m not sure what you’re talking about old man.”
He chuckled as he looked at me with warm eyes as one would look at their grandson.
However, Kakeru’s reaction was completely different from the ordinary man.
He felt goosebumps throughout his body as his intuition told him this old man meant bad news.
[You have just come into contact with a vast amount of focused mana]
[Hidden Trait: Heroe’s Consitution Activated]
[Mana has been nullified]
[Elemental Sight Lv.1 aquired]
He took a deep breath as his heart rate began to calm down but his mind raced as he analyzed the system notifications he had just received.
Activate Elemental Sight.
His eyes that had been brown all of his life had suddenly turned blue as he almost vomited from the sensory overlord he experienced.
He bit his tongue to help himself concentrate as his eyes strained to open.
Once he opened his eyes, he narrowed them as he stared at the massive amount of black particles that surrounded the old man.
“Hoho as expected from a Hero. To have acquired Elemental Sight in one try and to successfully cast it in one try. It is a feat that is surprising even amongst your peers.”
Blood seeped from my mouth as the old man spotted and his smile grew wider.
“Haha, I suppose I can forgive you with this.”
In response to his words, the pressure disappeared as he fell to his knees gasping.
The blue hue from his eyes disappeared but his innate brown eyes seemed to have turned lighter.
“That wasn’t really nice old man.”
“You laid hand on one of our products without permission. I believe this was a fairly light consequence.”
As I expected this old man seems to be the owner of this place but what did I just experience?
While shaking he tried to stand up but as he was about to fall the expressionless girl caught him as he looked at her surprised.
As he stared into her eyes she looked away as he confusingly looked at her while she helped him over to the couch.
He then looked emotionlessly as a cup of tea began floating over to him.
“Here’s some tea. It will help you relax.”
He took a few sips before indicating with his eyes to the old man to explain.
“I guess we should start at introductions. My name is Alan Toft and I am the Overseer of Guardians.”
Guardians?
“But we are more commonly known as the Dark Star Merchant Alliance.”
He stood motionless as he continued to stare at the old man.
Tsk another person he couldn’t read.
“Tomokazu Kakeru.”
“I see will Kakeru be fine?”
“Do whatever you want.”
“Kakeru how long has it been since you’ve come to this world?”
Kakeru’s continued to sip tea before answering.
“I’m not sure I know what you mean.”
“To keep your calm. This old man has nothing but praise for your character.”
“Then let me ask another question-”
“Everything is based on equality. If you want to know something from me you must provide something in return.”
The old man blinked his eyes as if he had never had someone interrupt him his whole life.
“I’m liking you more and more young man.”
Kakeru was despondent at this point as it was in his best interests to answer as least as possible.
The old man rubbed his non-existent beard as he seemed to be pondering.
“I can give you Kasumi-chan in exchange, how about it?”
Kakeru questioned who he was talking about until his gaze moved right to the emotionless girl.
“Deal. I’ll answer one more question if you give teach me combat techniques.”
“Sure this old man is fine with that.”
“Then for my first question…” The old man smiled while staring at him.
