It’s Fine To Reincarnate To A Flame - Chapter 32
Tang Sen came out in a relaxed mood, and the atmosphere in the Fox Demon Tribe was a little somber. However, they were all staring at Tang Sen respectfully. They had clearly received the news of the Fox Fire’s defeat, but Tang Sen was really not in the mood to bother about this.
Due to his Godhead advancing in level, Tang Sen could now have two priests. He initially set his sights on Felia after hearing the Fox Fire’s words, but Tang Sen now realized that Felia was actually not too happy after some observation. Instead, Felia looked somewhat dejected and lost.
Felia was clearly much closer to the Fox Fire than the others prior to this.
“Mighty Divine Spirit, Felia used to worship the Fox Fire. Right, now he might seem…” The chief was speaking cautiously, clearly afraid that Tang Sen would be angered by this matter. But in fact, Tang Sen was not one to get angry easily. Instead, Tang Sen felt much more impressed by Felia after seeing the way he behaved.
Reminiscing the Fox Fire at this moment was clearly not a good choice of action, but Felia nonetheless did that.
“Don’t worry; I won’t make things difficult for him.” Tang Sen agreed readily, for he had always admired young people like Felia.
However, the Fox Demon Tribe’s Chief was still worried and immediately spoke again. “Of course, you can pick out a specific person from the Fox Demon Tribe to serve you.”
Tang Sen did not turn down that offer. In fact, he was well aware that the Fox Demon Tribe would probably continue to live in fear and panic, even if he didn’t choose a priest to serve him today. Since that was the case, he might as well openly pick one out.
Felia was initially a good option, but Tang Se did not want to put him in a difficult spot now. Hence, he flew toward the Fox Demon Tribe in a bid to find a better successor.
Tang Sen soon found a candidate. It was a little girl who was seated quietly in a corner as if everything that happened today had nothing to do with her. Tang Sen could tell that the candidates whom the chief recommended were basically all men.
The girl seemed a little indignant when she was seated at the corner of a wall. Hence, Tang Sen stopped and asked the girl in front of him, “What’s your name?”
“My name is Scarlett,” the little girl immediately answered, and her eyes lit up when she saw Tang Sen. However, her gaze soon turned gloomy.
In fact, Tang Sen could tell that Scarlett was actually not inferior to Felia.
“Are you willing to serve me?” Tang Sen asked, looking at the girl.
With glistening eyes, Scarlett answered hesitantly, “Mighty Divine Spirit, I’m definitely willing, but I’m a female. Does that matter?”
Tang Sen was not bothered by this. In fact, the Aquila Tribe’s Saintess had impressed him with her actions in the past few days. Besides, Tang Sen did not want the Beastkind tribes to regard women as objects.
Thus, he was more gracious toward women, especially since Scarlett was a willing party.
“As you wish then.” A white light enveloped Scarlett; it clearly came from Godly Blessing.
After being blessed, Scarlett’s strength increased drastically. Though Scarlett was on par with Felia to begin with, she had now surpassed him by a huge margin. Hence, it would take some time for Felia to catch up with Scarlett.
The Fox Demon Tribe’s Chief acknowledged Tang Sen’s decision to take Scarlett under his wing. At the same time, he also decided to make Scarlett one of the Fox Demon Tribe’s leaders.
“This matter has been resolved perfectly.” Tang Sen secretly thought to himself that the things that he had been handling for the past few days were a huge headache for him.
At this moment, Scarlett respectfully bowed at Tang Sen and said, “Mighty Divine Spirit, we’re willing to follow you.”
Having become a leader, Scarlett naturally had the right to speak.
“All I ask is that you stop ambushing and attacking the smaller tribes,” stated Tang Sen. Initially, Tang Sen never would’ve gotten into a conflict with the Fox Demon Tribe, and they could continue staying in their own lanes. However, the Fox Demon Tribe just had to attack the Rabbit Ear Tribe.
Everyone was a little disoriented because of the relocation, and since such a problem cropped up, Tang Sen had to deal with it.
“We didn’t mean to get into a conflict with the Rabbit Ear Tribe. It was just part of the Dwarfs’ plan,” said Scarlett to Tang Sen truthfully, no longer hiding any secrets.
Tang Sen was in disbelief when he heard this piece of information. He clearly didn’t know that the Dwarfs would attack him using such a method. “Surely you guys didn’t follow through with what the Dwarfs told you to do, did you?”
Scarlett did not seem angered at this moment, and she wasn’t trying to cozy up to Tang Sen either. Clearly, she had already thought it through carefully. “Of course not. In fact, the Dwarfs and the Fox Demon Tribe have been making deals with each other for numerous years. I’m sure you know that the weapons created by the Dwarfs are the best.”
The Fox Demon Tribe could be considered one of the weakest among the eight strongest Beastkind tribes. They were far from comparable to the Ferocious Tiger Tribe and the Wild Lion Tribe. They did not possess heavenly danger like the Aquila Tribe either. Hence, they basically managed to survive thus far, solely because of their wits and wisdom.
Initially, the Fox Demon Tribe’s combat power was considered weaker than the other seven tribes. But even the Ferocious Tiger Tribe had to be scrupulous against them because of their wisdom.
“This time, we received news from the Divine Forging Tribe that we would receive some fine and exquisite weapons after attacking the Rabbit Ear Tribe,” Scarlett explained.
Tang Sen suddenly had an epiphany after hearing her words. ‘No wonder the Fox Demon Tribe was tempted. In fact, even I would be pleased to go ahead with such a deal. The Rabbit Ear Tribe is pathetically weak, and I wouldn’t cause them to suffer much damage even if I were to attack them. If offered such a deal 100 times, I would definitely agree to it each and every time.’
Tang Sen came to a sudden realization after hearing those words, but he soon felt something unusual. ‘Lately, all the problems that I’ve encountered are actually related to relocation. All the problems basically occurred after the Dwarfs appeared. What is the Dwarfs’ purpose?’
Tang Sen immediately thought of the Capricorn Tribe’s weapon—which he had burned. ‘Could that have been the doing of the Dwarfs as well?’
