Piece 24: The Enigmatic Boy (Connections)

Before the trailing voice breaks off on a quiet note, let me tell you this.

It’s not like I’m going to disappear. Neither will I say goodbye or go away. I have simply temporarily released the hand I was holding, is all. The prayers are still gathering here and spinning with me, taking the shape of a circle even now.

Do you still keep walking, going forward, only forward? Or are you looking for your next destination? Or maybe, you’re holding on tight to what you already have? Or do you, perhaps, enjoy simply wandering?

As there are people who know exactly what they want to do with their life, there are also those who simply drift along with the flow… On such days, I will draw closer – as the manifestation of the human heart, boundless and… so powerful that the might the stone disk of the Slate bestowed would only seem a drop in the ocean.

Demands, wishes, desires, aspirations, yearnings… a collection of prayers offering those is nothing more than a tiny droplet. What gives those droplets form and changes them into a circle is connections. As I recall, you called that power to connect “bonds”.
