Kaminoniki - Chapter 24 Chapter 20
“You guys also won two tickets for the famous Romeo and Juliet play!” The cashier said.
“Oh, damn! We actually want to go to the movies today! These tickets come in handy.” Levi exclaimed.
“Oh yeah! I don’t know what is happening to us right now! We are just so lucky!” Mary adds on.
“Thank you so much!” Levi thank.
“You’re welcome!” The cashier smiles.
“Let’s go see the play right now!” Mary is in a really good mood after she has a big price.
“Hang on! The show doesn’t start until 6 P.M.” Levi checks out the tickets.
“Okay…But can we go shop for a little bit, I’ve really explored the malls here since I come here!” Mary asks.
“Sure! No problem!” Levi smiles and nods.
Levi believes he has completely changed; not only just the attitude to Mary but also the perspective he has towards women. After the movie from last night, Levi feels better about his life. He uses to look at women as a sex machine just for him to release his stress, and to seek ultimate pleasure! Now he has a beautiful woman who he can vent his stress toward to, and just can lay down on when he is suffering from the reality. However, he didn’t completely change, his foxiness is still in him. He still plays tricks on Mary sometimes to just make her have a better and bigger image of him in her heart.
“Do you still love me if I’m not around?” Mary asks.
“Sure! What are you thinking baby! Of course, I will love you!” Levi explains.
“I don’t know since the brunch I’m having this feeling that I leave tonight I’ll never going to see you again…” Mary continues.
“Don’t be stupid! I’m always here, you can come to me if you feeling lonely! If I’m free I will come to visit you in advance!” Levi said.
“I know! I know! It’s just that I don’t feel right! You know the sixth sense of a woman is very accurate! The feeling I’m having might mean something!” Mary looks at Levi with worries.
“Maybe this time is just false alarm! Don’t worry baby, you know I will always be by your side!” Levi flirts.
“Okay…” Mary know that the future is not certain, anything is possible.
“Let’s not talk about this sad stuff, we are out today to have fun!” Levi ends the topic and tries to bring up Mary’s energy.
Then the both of them went shopping in the mall. Woman sometimes do be getting the superstitions right. However, people will always be afraid of the things that they don’t know yet. When you are not certain about something, you will be super sensitive about that thing that keeps coming up on your head. The more you think about it, the greater the chance that things that you are afraid will happen according to your expectation because your mind is affecting the things you do. If you are thinking about something really bad is going to happen, your action will act according to your thought. For instance, you are afraid that you will fail the final exam, during that mental state, your brain is telling your body to do whatever it takes to get you to fail.
After countless stores that Mary went, the show time is coming closer and closer, that’s when Levi and Mary start to head into the theater. When they got to the theater, the room was pack with couples, young and old. Then Levi bought some popcorn and some cotton candy to add an extract sauce to the play.
“Have you read the Romeo and Juliet before?” Mary looks at Levi and reaches out her hand for the popcorn.
“A little bit, I’m not a reading type of guy!” Levi replies.
“I think so too, you are a ‘hi, beautiful’ in a bar type of guy.” Mary jokes.
“Hey! At least I’m funny and romantic at the same time!” Levi quibbles.
“Yup! Romanticly start a conversation with a girl type of guy!” Mary laughs.
Romeo and Juliet is a Shakespearian play that is written by Shakespeare. He is well for his tragic stories; no character in his play can survive until the very end and still lives. However, the story itself is really attractive, from the setting to the character set up to the ending. The character changes their personality every second in the story. Even though his idea seems a little bit cliche in the modern day, but yet no one can surpass his level of playwriting.
“If I’m Juliet, would you be my Romeo?” Mary asks.
“Yes, my darling! I will die for you!” Levi kisses Mary to express his love for her is infinite.
Now it is time for Mary to go home, back to the United States.
Levi decided to call a taxi because he too lazy t to walk back home to get his car and drive Mary back to the hotel and get her stuff.
After Mary packed everything and gets into the taxi, Levi takes out a little present box for Mary as their token of attachment.
“What is it!” Mary is filled with love and excitment.
“Open it!” Levi wraps his arm around Mary’s neck.
“Oh, My God it’s a heart-shaped necklace! And it’s a couple’s necklace, half a heart of me and a half for you! What a romantic gift before I go back to America!” Mary the gives Levi a kiss.
“This means my heart is always in you, and your’s are in mine!” Levi sweet talks.
“You are so sexy right now! ” Then they both make out in the back of the taxi.
“Too young, too naive!” The taxi driver puts up a weird smile and quietly said.
They finally got to the airport and because of the make out in that car, Mary is late for her flight!
She rushes to her terminal, just right when she gets in she yells,
“I LOVE YOU!”
Levi hears and gives her big bright smiles and mouths,
“I LOVE YOU TOO!”
Levi walks back into the cap and tells the driver to drive him back to his house.
It was a quite but off trip back to Levi’s house.
“Pong!” Levi shuts the door and pulls out his wallet to pay the driver, then start to head toward his house, just right when Levi walks up the stairs in front of the door.
“Don!” Levi collapse down to the floor, his eye filled with disbelieve and life in his eye starts to fade away, his breath is getting weaker and weaker, he can’t move a muscle, he tries to open his mouth to scream for help but couldn’t, his heartbeat pounding really really fast then weaker and weaker, eventually it stops…he died.
The driver looks at Levi’s dead body and puts up the same weird and uncomfortable smile that the waiter in the restaurant earlier today had put on and said,
“Thank you for your business!”
Then drove off.
———2 Month later; Night, Valentines Day, Mary’s house.
“Why? Why? I don’t understand!” A young lady chucks the cup of red wine and cries out loud. There few more empty wine bottles sitting on the desk looks like she drunk a lot of wine tonight.
She suddenly stops the scream, stands up then walk toward the other table where there’s a framed picture of her hugging a young handsome man. She walks toward the table, picks up the framed picture, takes a good look at it then suddenly smashes the framed picture to the found causing the glass frame shatter into million pieces. She picks up the picture that remains in good condition, then takes out a lighter.
“Zap!” A smalle flame starts on the picture the lady is holding then slowly turns into a bigger flame. Then she uses the fire on the picture to lights up the heart-shaped scented candle.
While she still holds onto the burning picture in her hand, she uses her other hand to picks up another bottle of wine and walk toward the balcony. She somehow climbs up the fence of the balcony and sits on the edge of it.
“It’s been 3 months since you left me here…You promised you’ll love me no matter what…” The half heart-shaped necklace shines under the big beautiful moon.
“You said you would be Romeo if I’m Juliet…” Then she jumps off the balcony.
“I still love you…” That’s the last words from this young beautiful lady.
Up in the night sky, there’s a young gentleman who witnesses everything that just happened,
“Love is Evol…”
Then he disappears in midair without a sign of him ever exist.
—————————————————- P.S. :
To be honest, when I’m writing the ending, for some reason I was nervous; even though I have everything plane out way ahead, I was actually nervous when I’m writing the words down.
For some of you that don’t know what happens, you guys really need to pay close attention to all the detail in the chapters; you just need to find all the clues and puzzle them out.
I really don’t want to explain it, that will kill the joy of reading, please forgive me!
