King Of Heroes - Chapter 1 Transmigration
Somewhere in Africa.
Five, short-haired, dark-skinned men, dressed in black shorts and t-shirts held AK-47s in their hands. The weapons they had in their two hands vibrated from constant firing that was directed at the concrete wall just a few meters away.
Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat!
Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat!
Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat!
Behind the wall, stood a man of around forty or fifty years old dressed in a special ops uniform with a Glock in his right hand.
Rat-a-tat-tat-tat!
Rat-a-tat-tat-tat!
Rat-a-tat-tat-tat!
The AK-47 gunfire stopped, “That’s my cue,” he thought. He jumped out from behind the cover of the wall. In one swift motion, he raised the Glock and shot five times, quickly adjusting the gun after each shot.
P-TAFF! P-TAFF! P-TAFF! P-TAFF! P-TAFF!
Five bullets hit between the eyebrows of each man and they all collapsed onto the ground. He ran past the corpses of the five men and ran deeper into the compound.
A youth’s eyes who had short black hair, black eyes and was sixteen years old snapped open. He was greeted with dark spikes made out from earth more than four meters away from him and memories flashed through his head. His own memories, of what happened after he rushed past the five corpses of the men he killed and how he died, and new memories that belonged to a youth named Ryan.
“How am I alive?” Ryan mumbled and thought, “That damn druglord was strapped with C4 charges After I killed him, the C4 detonated and I got blown up. Even if I weren’t blown up, I still would have died as that kind of the blast was enough to cave in several buildings” He furrowed his eyebrows and his thoughts continued, “How am I alive then?… And who is this Ryan?”
Ryan closed his eyes, focusing on his memories.
“According to these memories, Ryan is was, a sixteen-year-old youth with a sickly mother, who, a few weeks ago became bedridden due to the lack of medicine,” Ryan thought, opened his eyes and sighed heavily. He closed his eyes again, focusing on the memories once more, “Today was his birthday and he was of the age he could become an adventurer. He was excited to become one, so he would finally get money to buy medicine for his mother What a good and filial son After registering with the adventurer guild and getting the adventurer’s license and a pass to enter dungeons. He went into the beginner dungeon. When he entered, he came in contact with a green-skinned creature called goblin. But having come in contact with the monster, he froze from fear and the goblin killed him by slashing him across his chest” Ryan thought and opened his eyes. He lowered them and saw a bloody sliced open linen shirt. Understanding flashed through his eyes, “I must have transmigrated into Ryan’s body after he and I died,” he mumbled.
Ryan raised his eyes, staring at the spiky earth ceiling, “Ryan died so young as a kid who never got to experience life and never will” Resoluteness flashed through his eyes and his thoughts continued, “Ryan, as someone who got transmigrated into your body, I will do what you risked your life for. I will get medicine for your sick mother and I will care for her. I will make sure she gets better and I will not let her get sick ever again. I will stay by her side until she draws her final breath. I will make her feel proud that she has you as her son.”
Ryan rose up from the ground and at that time, a few messages flashed before his eyes.
Ryan’s eyes widened in shock, “What the hell?! Am I hallucinating?” he shouted out. A few moments passed and he narrowed his eyes then extended his hand; clenched and unclenched his fist and a window opened in front of him.
Ryan widened his eyes, “This is not a hallucination?” he mumbled and tapped the button
“What is this? A video game?” Ryan thought and tapped button again.

“While I was in special ops, I got training in all the weapons from guns to blades. I can use a two-handed sword,” Ryan thought and tapped button for the third time.
Class selection window appeared in front of Ryan.

“Demon King class has an advantage over all the others. There is no need to even think about it.” Ryan thought and selected the demon king class; a notification flashed.
The window closed and in its place, a new window with a list of choices appeared.
“I should go over all these options, first is ,” Ryan thought and tapped the first option; a new window opened. In the middle, he saw his character’s model. To his surprise, the character looked exactly like the real him when he was a teenager. “How is this possible,” he mumbled.
To the left and to the right of the model, Ryan saw the equipment slots; three of these slots had items in them: chest, pants and shoes. To the right of the equipment slots, he saw statistical information of the character and below it, all his skills.
Ryan looked over everything in great detail.

“Half-Elf? Mhm Ryan’s mother is a human, so his father who is gone now was an elf?” Ryan thought; then returned back to the main menu and chose option. A new window opened and he saw the item that he received as his second gift. He clicked it, and a confirmation window opened.
Ryan clicked, and at that time a sound sounded behind him.
KIKIKI!
“That sound,” Ryan mumbled as the sound was very familiar to him. He quickly closed the system and turned around and he now knew why it was so familiar. In front of him stood a humanoid of the height of a human child with green skin, long ears and a long tongue. It was a goblin and in his right hand, he held a short rusty dagger. Above the goblin’s head there were a few lines of text.</subjugate,></shoes,>
