King Of Seven Realms - Volume 3 Chapter 69 Anbai And Hong'er.
“What are you doing here?” Seeing as he was not answering her question, the silhouette changed her approach. She could tell that both of them are Half-Step Divine Realm with Wang Lei having Primordial Energy, which surprised her, but she did not show it on her face.
“As I said, just passing by.” Wang Lei said.
The silhouette seemed impatient as it increased her pressure and asked with a threat, “If you did not tell me what you are doing here, then I will kill you both!”
Wang Lei shook his head, “You cannot. You are just a lingering consciousness; without body, you can’t kill anyone.”
Hearing him, the pressure on both of them vanished as she became silent, since what Wang Lei said was the truth.
Even though she could project her pressure on them, she has long lost her cultivation, and as a lingering consciousness, she cannot attach him.
After some silence, she asked again, “This place is off-limits to any outsider. Can you please leave?”
Wang Lei shook his head, “I cannot. I am here for her.” He said as he pointed his finger towards the little girl, sleeping in the coffin.
The lingering consciousness becomes alarmed, as again a pressure dropped on both of them, “Leave! If you dare to put a single hand on the mistress, then even if I have to sacrifice myself, I will take both of you with me!”
Seeing as she was almost about to attach them, Wang Lei stopped her, “You do not have to worry. I will not hurt your mistress; in fact, I can heal her.”
The silhouette froze after hearing him, “Impossible! She has been poisoned by a poison that can kill even Gods and Devils! Without Sky Poison Pearl, it is impossible to erase the poison that is already affecting her soul.”
Nodding, Wang Lei said, “It is indeed impossible to do that without Sky Poison Pearl but” he looked at the silhouette, “I can do it without it.”
“But”
“Do you want to live? With your mistress.” Wang Lei asked, interrupting her.
“Of course, I do! But my real self is already dead. But that is not”
before she could finish, a gentle white light envelops the silhouette. It became alert, but the light was not hurting her, making her relax.
But what happened next shattered her beliefs. She saw with horror-filled eyes as her consciousness, which should have dissipated, started to heal at a fast rate; even her flesh and bone started to be created.
Feng Xue’er also become astonished seeing this; of course, she would be. Any sane person will be if they saw a human literally being rebuild from the start.
Soon, the silhouette becomes a full-fledged woman.
She had long silver hair, reaching just above her h.i.p.s. Crimson red eyes enough to drown anyone. Her skin was creamy white perfectly craved as if a jade.
She wore a long black dress with a white coat on it, both having golden lining on them. She wore black gloves on her hands.
Her whole body gave a unique aura, making her look calm, cold, and noble.
She had a silvery Rapier with a golden hilt strapped on her h.i.p.s/waist.
(A/N: I was going to put a link, but)
Surprised was evident on her face. She could not believe what she was seeing. If she had her complete soul, then she might be able to believe it.
But she was just a lingering consciousness, apart from her complete soul that should have dissipated a long time ago, bringing her back to life only Ancestral God should have been able to do that.
Naturally, she would have known that Wang Lei had a complete understanding of the soul, and with the Wall of Samsara damaged, her soul remained in this world same with most of the Gods and Devils.
He also understood the Concept of Samsara and Reincarnation. With the help of , he was able to bring her back to life.
She looked towards Wang Lei as if seeing a ghost. Even though her face did not show many emotions, her shaking body said it all.
Pointing her finger towards Wang Lei, she shutters as she said, “Y-y-you!” she could not find words to say.
After some time, she finally calmed down and took a deep breath. Her face turns to cold and indifferent, but her eyes were still showing surprise.
“Who are you? And how did you do that?”
“Did I not said? I am just a passerby. And how I did that is not important, but the fact that I can save your mistress.” Wang Lei said.
When the girl heard her, she becomes quiet. She kept looking in Wang Lei’s eyes, silently.
A moment later, she finally sighed, “Alright. I will allow you to help her, but if you do anything” an aura of Peak of Divine Origin Realm hits them.
Even if she has recovered, she was still far from recovering her strength.
Wang Lei just shook his head, “Before I save her, I have a condition.”
The girl raised a brow but still listened.
“I want her to become my sword.”
Complete silence descends in the room. Both kept glaring at each other for some time when the girl finally gave in.
“Alright. But I also have a condition,” seeing as Wang Lei was listening, she said, “I want you to make a contract with me too.”
“Why not? Having more is always better.” Wang Lei said as he moved closer towards the ‘Coffin of Eternity’ the name that he heard from the girl, who calls herself AnBai (An means peaceful. While Bai means white, pure, crystal clear).
Looking at the girl sleeping inside the coffin, he could not help but lament her fate. She had to be divided into two fragments white and black just as she was born. While the black part suffered most as it was sealed. While the white part which was sleeping inside the coffin was poisoned during the war and had to go into long slumber from which she might awaken or not.
Shaking his head, removing unnecessary thoughts, he opened the lid.
With white smoke/fog coming out of it, the coffin opened. Seeing the girl, Wang Lei smiled and said.
Different magic circles bloomed around the girl as worldly energy started to pour inside of it.
AnBai and Feng Xue’er looked at the process with bathed birth, especially AnBai.
Sometime later, there was a little moment in the eyes of the girl. She slowly opened them and looked towards the Wang Lei the first person after millions of years of sleep.
Her eyes sparkle as she said, “Who are you, uncle? Do you have something to eat? Hong’er is hungry.”
(A/N: I forgot whether it was Yun Che who gave her name or she already had it. So I went with the ‘already had it’ idea.)
