Next day, Alexander arrived in his throne room and send a kingdom wide announcement, ” I have some use for the realm gate so it will be unavailable for public use for quite some time. I will give you all six hours to finish the transfer of all the important materials and items, after that the realm gate will disconnect from the origin verse.”

He then cut off the transmission and called Tobby. Tobby, besides being the head elf of Alexander, was also the intermediatory between the commander of elven spies and Alexander. Alexander had ordered the commander of elven spies, not to directly meet him as he was on a very important mission. The commander and his trusted aids, were spying on the elven race of the Martial Spirit World. Alexander wanted to know if the world tree of the elven race of cultivation world was similar to the mother tree of magical world, or not.

After initial investigation, it was found that the world tree gave birth to the elves in cultivation world and also produced a special dew for the elven race which was essential for their initial cultivation. The elves were capable of reproducing themselves but the rate of reproduction was very low so they rarely reproduced and depended on the world tree for increasing their racial numbers. The elves were ordered to collect genetic samples of the elves of cultivation world and the world tree. Alexander wanted to know how the world tree produced elves.

It was quite regretful that the mother tree was destroyed in the prime world of Harry Potter Universe, this led to the destruction of mother tree present in all the universes. The destruction was final but the time was not. There were worlds where the mother tree were present but they were governed by magic gods. Alexander was all ready to fight it out with them and take the entire mother tree forcefully but the thought of attracting powerful foes haulted his thoughts. The laws of the kingdom were more than a advancement requirement. They will be a safety net around his kingdom, which will protect his kingdom from invasion from cosmic entities.

The laws governing the existence suppressed any otherworldly entity to the level of the strongest person residing in the invaded universe, if the entity was more powerful. Moreover, the cosmic entities cannot enter a universe without fulfilling certain conditions. That’s why they choose powerful mortals as their champions and send them to their targeted universe. The gifts and wishes given on reincarnation were just a means to placate the free employees. These reincarnators unknowingly conquered universes for their masters while braving dangers. How this all worked, Alexander didn’t knew. That’s why the development of the laws of his kingdom were so important. The world with weak laws were immediately conquered or consumed when passing the threshold.

The way to strengthen the laws for a king was to conquer stronger worlds. Right now, he was going to a version of a Harry Potter world where he had seen a preserved seed of mother tree being destroyed during a Hogsmeade raid conducted by Death Eaters before the birth of Harry Potter. He was going to that timeline, where the seed was not destroyed yet. Initially, he was not able to recognise the seed because it was kept in a container but the light emitted from the destruction of seed, was similar to the light emitted on destruction of the mother tree. When he was filtering through countless worlds of Harry Potter, in search for the mother tree, he was looking for remains of the tree itself or any young sapling that had survived through the annulls of time.

The reason he didn’t look for any seeds was because, the seeds were extremely fragile and 99.9% of them died within hours of being extracted from the fruit. The process of growing a sapling out of the seed was also very difficult. In that incident, the seeds were the first to be destroyed. Normal human eyes were not able to see it but Alexander was a dragon. He was able to see it and investigated all the versions of that world and found that there was a still three preserved seeds present in that version. The seeds were preserved because an ancient magi stole those seeds from the elves and preserved them in circular cases. The Magi was killed by the ancient elves for his deed but they were not able to recover the seeds. The elves ultimately gave up on the seeds as at that time, they had thousands of seeds with them. Moreover, the seeds were also ownerless.

Those three seeds later on came into hands of a treasure hunter wizard and he had come to Hogwarts to consult Dumbledore. In 99.9% of the worlds, the man was killed in the raid and his belongings were burned in cursed flames by Death Eaters. Alexander was going to a world where the raid had not happened yet. Alexander sensed several powerful presences shifting near him. He looked up saw small cloaked figures appearing before his throne. The figures bowed towards him and then stood in attention. These were the top elven spies of his kingdom which were deployed to monitor the elven race of The Martial Spirit World. He had called them here as they were going to accompany him to The Harry Potter World. This will be their last trip to any Harry Potter World as they have already got everything of value from the previously conquered world other than the mother tree. It’s been six hundred years since Harry Potter World was conquered by him.

Alexander transferred all the knowledge about the mother tree and the retrieval operation. He watched as the elven spies stood even straighter than before and now, had a very determined aura around them. Alexander spoke up, ” I don’t have to tell you the importance of this operation to the elven race. This is our only chance to get the seeds. If this fails, we will have to wait for hundreds of thousands of years for the laws to completely develop so that we could wage war with the god of magic of Harry Potter World. We are capable of defeating them in our current situation but we are vunerable right now. Our laws are not fully developed. You have read the files about The Desolate Era and the consequences of an enemy integrating with the world laws. We cannot allow this so this is a very important mission. We will move in six hours. I will have Carter and his men move in the light which you will move in the shadows. Your aim is to recover the seeds unharmed at all costs, even if you have to kill anyone. Go, prepare yourselves.” The elves nodded and shifted away.

Alexander also entered meditation to center himself for upcoming task as this mission required control. He cannot even flare his aura in fear of damaging the seeds but once the seeds were recovered, he would conquer that world.
