Kiraware Yūsha ni Tensei Shitanode Aisare Yūsha o Mezashimasu! - CH 81
[After the Party]
The party ended on a high note.
It was a yearly thing, but surely this year was the most exciting one yet.
The reason was, of course, me and Tayte.
People from the academy had already gotten used to seeing us being so close to each other, but it must have been an unbelievable sight to others.
Anyway, I managed to show off to all attendees that Tayte and I were now getting along exceptionally well. If I had continued to act unbridled as Barrett did in the previous years, the party probably would not have been as exciting.
After the party ended, Tayte and I sat in my room, going over our plans for tomorrow and talking about the events today.
Tomorrow we would stroll about the garden in the morning and then go on an outing in the afternoon.
It was mostly the same as what we had originally planned, except for one small change.
That was, Jarvis would be accompanying us on our afternoon outing.
There was a recently discovered dungeon not far from here, and we’d decided to explore it to test our skills.
The one who brought up the idea was none other than me.
Why? Because I thought that I might learn something about the relationship between Raul and Eureka if I went there.
This thought came about because I remembered a certain conversation in the original storyline
The past arc in【The Rise of the Weakest Holy Swordsman】mainly covered how Raul and Tayte grew closer to each other.
In one particular chapter, the two took a subjugation quest together with Holy Knight Klaus. and the location of the quest was a dungeon near this summer resort.
Furthermore, there was a scene in the second chapter of the original novel where Eureka mentioned said chapter. What she said was: “He’s always been a lustful guy since a long time ago. I remember it was during summer vacation. As they were doing a subjugation quest, Raul kept looking at Lady Tayte with lecherous eyes the whole time. Clearly, he hasn’t changed his ways.”
Of course, she told this to Barrett.
Jarvis, who was listening by the side, then asked for instruction, “What do we do?” to which the original Barrett replied, “Cast him out, obviously. We can’t have such a scum in our party,” making the decision to kick Raul out of the party.
…Now that I thought about it, the reason why Eureka called Tayte with the honorific ‘Lady’ must not only be because Tayte was a Saint, but also because of their master-servant relationship.
Setting that aside, judging from the flow of the original storyline, Raul and Mr. Klaus should be heading to the dungeon we were planning to head to. If we went there, Marina and the other maids would likely follow us, and so would Eureka.
I was thinking that, if I could get the two to meet, they might show some kind of reaction, then I’d be able to ask about their relationships without arousing suspicion.
It was roundabout, but this was the only way to make it natural to ask.
Yes, I could just directly ask Eureka, who at the moment was listening to our conversation with a smile next to Tayte, but… that would likely break this peaceful atmosphere; hence I chose not to.
…But if Raul had truly come to the dungeon, the original storyline’s hero party would be assembled.
The first gathering of the hero’s party, huh.
The thought made me look forward to it.
“B-but I think this is a little too revealing after all…” Tayte said shyly.
“That’s not true! In fact, since you have such an outstanding figure, I believe you should wear outfits that emphasize your figure more frequently! Don’t you agree, Lord Barrett?” Eureka asked energetically.
I nodded sagely, “I totally agree, but… I hope you keep one thing in mind.”
“W-what is it, Barrett…?” Tayte asked timidly.
“Please only wear dresses like that when you are with me, not in public.”
“Understood! I will only reveal my skin when I’m with you, Barrett!” Tayte declared loudly.
Mhm.
That sounded like music to my ears.
Marina and the others applauded while grinning.
That caused Tayte to realize the boldness of what she had said, and her face turned beet red. Now, this was the correct way of loving this girl named Tayte Ehrenberg.
I’m looking forward to our second date tomorrow!
