La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 1
Love is often associated with a sweet feeling, butterflies in stomach, an abnormal beating of heart upon seeing your beloved.
What if I say Love is a poison! These volcanic emotions are venom. What if I say Love isn’t something which you experience by Cupid’s arrow but by a snake, a venomous snake.
What if I say this heated passion is the venom of love and you are definitely going to die of it.

“Ugh! Again, a ridiculous birthday party.”
I pushed myself to sit forcefully as my satin bed covers were not allowing me to leave their lovely embrace.
Rubbing my left eye, I raked fingers in hair within a specific direction as I love them to comb backwards.
Silence was hovering like ‘grim reaper’ in my strewn room, absorbing into the walls. Frustrated with my daily routine, I sighed and threw myself again on the pillow, pulled the black satin sheet upto my eyes to avoid the disturbance of light.
And again I was about to step inside the valley of slumber when a coarse male voice hit my ears hard like the ‘call of Hades’ directly from hell.
“Ambrose Lorenzo, we have to leave in an hour. Get your ass down here.”
The order was from none other than my father Lorenzo Perez, who was all set to leave and was yelling from downstairs waiting for my precious arrival, impatiently.
No matter how much I was of a grown up as I’m already twenty four, he still treats me like a teenage, upon whom he had to keep an eye.
He loves to order me around all day. The most interesting thing is that I fear him still, after all he had an influence over me for my whole life but yes in a positive way. So I don’t mind obeying him.
“Yes dad, I know. Coming in thirty minutes!”
I replied quite loud for him to listen downstairs, an illiterate thing to act? Though I’m lethargic but still somehow I always manage to be on time.
After all I’m the sole heir of Lorenzo industries. I’ve and I can do anything for my reputation, I mean ANYTHING!
I rubbed my forehead and temples, punched the other pillow beside me with a groan, pushed my body out of bed and walked upto the washroom, opposite to my king sized bed.
“Hello there, handsome!”
That is what I often do, before stepping into the bathroom I stood in front of the mirror which comes in the way, tucked into the wall and praised myself before proceeding further. Tucking my one finger on jaw line and other beneath chin, I complemented my looks.
Champagne eyes, black sleek hair, fair complexion, perfectly sharp face cuts and oh yes, not to forget my French beard which broadened my jaw and added something like “Wow” to my looks, well that’s what apparently women says about me.
Yeah, they drool and throw themselves at me, wanting me to spend a night, which well I do sometimes. Okey being honest, often!
I walked in for a bath after eye-feasting on myself.
Took off my boxers and went under the shower. Cold water was running and washing over every trace of last night.
I began to rub perfumed soap when my gaze skimmed on the hickey over my shoulder. Completely forgetting that I was at bar with a girl last night, and I don’t remember her name either.
After washing over I bathed into deodorant and came out with a towel around my waist, strode towards bed and…
“I miss you mum!”
I spoke towards the lady in the picture frame who was smiling at me like usual. Every morning I miss her so much, as she is long gone, dead.
“I wish you were here to help me in selection but seems like I have to do it myself. ”
I sighed and opened the broad cupboard reluctantly and stared at my wardrobe. Finally after two minutes of gazing at each pair, I picked a brown tuxedo.
“This would do for a birthday party.”
Brushing my hair with fingers and got dressed within snap of seconds, wearing and setting my tie, I winked at the reflection.
“Ambrose Lorenzo, women’s heartthrob. Oh girls I’m coming!”
It was the first birthday of the daughter of , UuMm….. a friend of my father’s. And honestly I was not a tiny bit of interested. The only thing that without any doubt attracts a Casanova is, women!
I wore shoes, glanced back at the mirror, picked up my cell phone, car keys and sun glasses and strode down and saw angry Mr Lorenzo Perez waiting to greet me with harsh words.
“Sorry dad, to keep you waiting.”
I held my one ear in an apologizing tone which made him chuckle. After my mum we were best friends, the one’s to take care of each other.
“Let’s go.”
With a motherly affection he settled the strands back which were coming on my forehead and held me by both biceps proudly.
“Looking great, son. I wish you could find your mate here.”
Now he wanted me to marry but no. I can’t, a Casanova can’t settle for one woman, right?
I have always denied his request but as usual he was persistent making me agree. Unaware of his ‘spoiled son’. Yeah, he doesn’t know that his heir had became a womanizer!
“Let’s go dad. We are getting late.”
And I shoved him by his shoulders towards the exit as to let go of this topic.
“Okay, but we’ll discuss it.”
I knew this wouldn’t stop him for long. And we drove off in my black bugati.
