La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 10
I was glad to see her again. Happy I would say or more than that euphoric state. I intentionally arranged a table in my cabin for her.
Just Right in front of mine so that I could see her whenever I lift my head to peek, and without getting caught.
Syna was working diligently studying each file carefully by skimming her finger tip upon every word.
I peeked though the corner of my eye time to time. Sure she was beautiful, heavenly. Though I did not know what to do, else loving her. I guess I already fell for her.
“Oh heavens! I was in love with her since When?”
My brain scolded my heart, questioning curtly.
“I do not know perhaps yesterday night or perhaps when I saw her CV for job.”
I racked through my blonde hair, battling with my inner voice.
“Should I tell her about yesterday night and apologize?”
It was a tough question for me to search for the answer, though I did not know about the circumstances or her reaction.
“I think I should wait for the right time since she does not know about me yet, what if I tell her, it’s quite possible she will hate me for marking without her consent. First I will make her fall in love with me. Yes, that would be fine.”
I came up with this solution as that was the only way to save everything.
“Ugh! I don’t know.”
I threw my head on table with a thump in irritation. And shook my forehead in those thoughts when she strode upto my desk with a file for some discussion.
I immediately shot from my seat and unknowingly I ordered her to come close so that I could see the words clearly. And obviously it was for to bring her silhouette closer to me.
I did not know why I slipped my hand beneath the file and touched her skin slightly making it accidental. A sweet sensation filled my body. My heart was longing to taste her exposed neck again.
But I did not want to do it without her consent this time.
I, Sinclair MacLaverty who neither asked for forgiveness nor forgave anyone, recalled yesterday’s night regrettably.
I repented that night over and over again, every minute thinking about her, I wanted her and needed her badly.
I allotted her much work so that she went could go back home late just because only to see her more, knowing that it was her first day of joining.
I liked her roaming around me, as she walked by my side with notepad in hand to record things, with such delicacy that it took my heart every time she trailed me towards other cabins.
Maybe I was behaving like a pervert but my heart always evoked the itchy sensations to touch her milky skin and to hold her hand.
“She was unknowingly a seductress, who was drugging my senses every minute.”
I ogle at her while she was writing something burying her head in the notepad. From my side opposite to her I could only see her loose bun, because a laptop was the hindrance in between.
“Miss Syna, have you note down all the instructions?”
Intentionally I came up with another excuse to talk. Her voice was a sweet music to my ears.
“Yes sir, do you want me to state?”
Her eyes grew wide and lips took a shape of alphabet O, I was aware of her tiredness and stiff body.
“No. You can go and have lunch. Visit our office canteen or if you want to step out, you have my permission. I just do not want my secretary to get malnourished.”
I smiled at her genuinely with all my teeth beaming at her. Her lips curled up gracefully as face lit up at once.
“Thank you, sir. I will be off then.”
Immediately she placed the notepad on the table and left for the canteen, striding hurriedly with a gleeful heart.
“That is the bonus of soul bond, I can sense your feelings, sweetheart.”
I giggled loudly after her dismissal. Sure I had to keep my wife healthy, it was a little selfish of me but in order to gain power and increase my life span, I had to protect and marry her.
After marrying me she would become immortal and will save my soul from disappearing.
“We are each other’s power and weakness Syna, you have to love me, only me.”
I murmured to myself as in this life she was only mine and I was going to win her love, fair and square.
