La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 160
While Lord Sinclair had to pay a visit to the vampire noble Lord, which was also an important task to do and couldn’t be neglected at any cost because the man was an undefeated being.
Knowing for his serene personality yet unpredictable nature, Iñigo de Raizel had the power and authority over the vampire realm despite having a king to rule, the man was highly respected and worshipped.
“I need to hurry up before he sends someone to fetch me.”
Sinclair was quickly taking steps towards the guest room, hoping to change into new clothes before he could leave to visit the vampire kingdom.
Sinclair was aware of his capabilities and had acknowledged the possible circ.u.mstances for refusing the vampire noble Lord. Thus, he needed to hurry up to his castle to the outskirts of the vampire dwelling, definitely a perfect place for a vampire seer to reside.
Lord Sinclair pushed the door open and strode inside the guest room, it was the very moment he walked past the mirror without bothering to land a gaze, which was unusual of him.
Perhaps, in a fit he stepped out of his usual routine but of course a habit doesn’t change that easily, Sinclair strode backwards and halted in front of the mirror.
It was the very thoughtful moment that he noticed a wet spot in between his thighs and it took him a nanosecond to react.
“What the f.u.c.k!”
A horror struck expression appeared on his face, the color turned pale as Sinclair immediately hid the spot with his both hands, but the time had slipped away now.
His cheeks began to burn red as Sinclair recalled the scene of chatting with Hestia and then encountering the royal seer, no one pointed out to him rather pretended not to witness, as it will only cause embarrassment to lord Sinclair.
The lord smacked his own forehead with the right palm and heaved a sigh, it wasn’t necessary to cry over spilled beans. Sinclair strode towards the washroom and took off the clothes.
The lord was alone now, as no one was there to do a sneak peak which was only expected from his bride but unfortunately she was laying unconscious as for now. Sinclair closed his eyes and flung his arms out, to attain the original appearance as his short hair grew longer to the shoulder length.
“Mhmm.”
Mumbling to himself he opened his eyes which had changed to heterochromic colors, though he had transformed into the original form but still there was one thing in his preoccupied mind ‘to clear up the things’ and the only one name was corrupting his senses ‘Syna’, his beloved bride.
He settled himself in the bathtub and washed over the fatigue, it was the moment Sinclair MacLaverty witnessed a glaring red hickey on his collarbone, trailing down to his toned torso. A wide smile appeared on his lips, realising that Syna had actually loved his services last night, perhaps no one would have known the bride’s reaction till now.
The Lord chose a royal dress, after all he was going to meet a noble royalty. Sinclair had to choose wisely as he wasn’t the representative of human Realm thus, the lord decided to go by the symbolic dress of his own kingdom.
Before putting on the black shirt Sinclair stared at the hickey right in front of the roaring mouth of the dragon, on his shoulder and muttered to himself with an assuring tone.
“I will be back soon, Syna. Just hold on for a little, I will explain it to you, everything, my love.”
When the lord was all dressed, he muttered a spell and a portal emerged from the wall on his right, before stepping into the vampire realm Sinclair established a telepathic connection between him and Elmore, as the lord instructed him to protect his queen with all his heart.
As the Ghost Lord set a foot in the portal in his true form, and the gateway closed behind him cutting the heart connection between him and Syna, but as the soul bond was already completed Sinclair could feel her even in another realm, not like before when he visited home after meeting Syna.
When the portal shut its mouth, miraculously Syna opened her eyes immediately as if the lady got startled because of a nightmare.
“Syna? What happened, Syna are you alright? Does it feel uncomfortable anywhere?”
Lolita was sitting nearby her bed, plopped in the chair reading a novel by the same author she had admired for action ‘Femme Fatale, The Queen Of Chess’ while the lady was immersed into her leisurely activity, Syna snapped open her eyes with an audible gasp.
The startled voice alarmed Lolita and the lady shot up from her seat immediately, throwing back the chair in the attempt, which collided with the floor producing a loud thump sound.
Syna pushed herself up to sit upon hearing the sound which startled her even more, suspecting that someone was around her with malicious intentions.
“Ouch…ouwhh!”
“Slow down, you silly girl.”
Lolita held her by shoulder, supporting her friend, she instructed her to stay calm.
“Lolita?”
Hearing a familiar feminine voice close to her, she instantly realized it was none other than her friend Lolita.
“What are you doing here?”
Syna placed her one hand on the end of backbone, a pang of severe pain circulated in her lower abdomen but of course the lady was still unaware of everything.
“Oh, CEO Sinclair MacLaverty called me to attend to your needs, silly. That is why I am here, why else?”
Lolita faked angry expressions as she sat on the mattress and hugged Syna, nearly squeezing the lady in her strong embrace.
“To my needs, what needs? What happened and why am I here?”
Syna analysed her surroundings immediately after hearing Lolita’s words, which pushed her into more confusion that how she ended there in Sinclair’s household when she had fainted in the storeroom.
“You don’t remember? Girl, you fainted there in the company and Sinclair brought you home, a doctor arrived to attend you and you woke up after…after around more than eighteen hours.”
Lolita felt that it would be good if she doesn’t tell Syna about all the things, which had happened in her sleep. She suspected that the lady might burst out in rage after realizing everything that she had been kept into the dark since the beginning.
By now Lolita had already known that she was a fool to escape from destiny, attempting to rewrite her fate when she had eventually fallen into the trap of her written destiny.
Lolita had acknowledged that she was protecting the Ghost Lord’s bride since the beginning, although unknowingly but she had remained Syna’s friend and her guardian, watching over the lady closely.
It was the day when Syna arrived at her apartment flabbergasted and crying, that she was a blue blood and had to marry the Ghost Lord, the realization struck Hestia about the identity of Syna and that she had been performing her fated task unknowingly.
Now that she had known everything and Hades filled her in with the bond, Lolita activated herself unknowingly when she used the spell of escapism. Of course, to rebel against the destiny and the pre written fates of God, invites the devil and death which is why Hestia was chosen as the mate of Hades, it was another case that the Lord was head over heels in love with her.
Lolita didn’t want her friend to get upset and unleash rage upon her, knowing that every single person was her culprit for keeping Syna into the dark by hiding facts from her.
“Oh, I remember, I see. So, that’s why.”
Syna made an O shaped face, thinking to herself and recalling the things which had happened earlier. It was the moment she turned her face towards Lolita and saw her tensed up expressions, something unsaid was there on her face.
“Why do you look worried, Lolita and why do… Why do you look different?”
Syna felt something unusual in her appearance, something difficult to describe that it made Syna forgot to question about the pain in her lower abdomen.
“N- no, It’s nothing like that, it’s just I was worried about you, silly. Don’t think too much, just lay down quickly.”
Lolita tried to shift the subject towards Syna’s health as she forced her to lay down into the bed, knowing by her painful expressions that she wasn’t feeling well down there, about which she was happy too but a part of her was angry at Sinclair.
“Lolita, you know, you are acting really strange. You should be well aware that I can sense your lies within seconds.”
Syna refused to lay down and grabbed Lolita’s hands while she kept on sitting with her sore lower abdomen.
“You seem…a little younger and brighter and… Oh my goodness, Lolita! W- why your eye color is changing?”
Some sort of strange emotions overcame her maybe fear, that Syna let go of her hands and crept backwards while her horror struck face didn’t leave Lolita’s face and her red demonic eyes!
Hestia didn’t expect that her body would react like that in fear of losing a friend, her hormones caused the changing of eye color. She leaped towards Syna with pleading eyes, a whisper left her lips more likely as of she was trying to speak having a lump in her throat.
“Syna, listen to me, Syna!”
