La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 162
The bride of Ghost Lord had never imagined the truth to be that harsh, let alone the revelation about the secret identity of her friend, who had always guided her and remained beside her, sticking closely like a shadow.
Lolita paused for a moment after she began to narrate her tale to Syna and sighed helplessly before she could continue to the weirdest, and glanced at her friend, who was staring at her.
“We both are victims, Syna. I thought I had successfully escaped from my destiny but who would have known that I have been performing my duties unknowingly. And you thought you could beat your fate by escaping the Ghost Lord and his family but eventually you ended up with his brother, Sinclair MacLaverty.”
Lolita again paused for a moment, she didn’t lift her head up, suspecting that Syna might not have believed her. A grim silence accompanied the quickened voices of their beating hearts while the ladies kept on analysing everything with their sealed lips.
“I can understand you, Hestia.”
Lolita aka Hestia was sitting with her eyes scrunched shut, the lady had already made up her mind assuming that Syna would gradually break up her relationship with her and the thorn of hate must have sprouted in her heart.
To her utmost surprise she felt two arms surrounding her with security, wrapping around the shoulder. Hestia bumped her face into Syna’s b.r.e.a.s.t as the cursed bride stood up on her knees and hugged Lolita like a poor kitten who had just been scolded badly.
“I understand you, Hestia. I know how you felt at that moment when you knew that your freedom was about to be snatched away and wings to be cut down.”
Syna patted Lolita’s back, as she pecked on her hair while the lady was holding her friend close.
Lolita felt as if her heart would explode any time, Syna’s trust and love was not something which she could consume in her heart. She had never imagined her friend to place trust in her words let alone keeping faith that whatever she just told her was the utmost truth.
In that quiet room, within those four walls dipped into bleak shades of colors only the heart beats of the ladies was audible, or barely audible to ears. Everything was silent, perhaps even the whole universe was giving them a few moments to think and to clear up the things.
The increasing palpitations were clearly showing that both the women were willing to give in to whatever they had to say. They both were ready to give a chance to each other, despite being cheated and kept into dark.
Hestia was right that both of them were a victim, and Syna had acknowledged the fact faster than Hestia had expected. Moreover, the lady was understanding everything with an open mind and calmly.
“Really? You do?”
Hestia lifted her head up which rubbed against Syna’s b.r.e.a.s.ts, as the lady looked upwards to see her face. Lolita’s gaze widened upon her words, as she blankly stared at Syna, questioning again.
The lady suspected that she might have heard her friend completely wrong, because she knew Syna since the ladies were in their teens. Acting with brain and listening calmly was definitely not Syna’s style, then how come the woman changed that much in such a short time?
“Yes, really.”
Syna’s face beamed with joy as she replied to Lolita in a confident tone, which raised her voice a little assuring that she was telling the truth, narrating the feelings of her heart with utmost honesty.
“A- aren’t you afraid?”
Lolita could not believe that even after knowing this Syna was still strong and was sitting, precisely holding her on the arms. She was not afraid, no slightest hint of fear was in her eyes, but still Lolita had to confirm it that her ears didn’t hear wrong and she was not dreaming all the things.
“No, not at all. Why would I be afraid of you? Do you think my feelings towards you would change just because you aren’t a human?”
Syna ‘detached’ Lolita’s face from her b.r.e.a.s.ts and glares at her with the intention to intimidate her, for spouting such a nonsensical thing which was nothing else rather Lolita’s assumption.
“Oh, come on! You are so silly, I have so many supernatural people around me. Do you even think that YOU can scare me away? Your actual identity can’t change the bond between us, you will always be Lolita to me, Hestia.”
Syna rolled her eyes upon hearing such a stupid premise from her friend, which of course was definitely not a stupidity. Anyone in Hestia’s place would have done the same thing, would have said those same words, she acted naturally what her heart felt.
The cursed bride emphasized the pronoun ‘you’ as Syna raised her voice in a groan and aggression, showing Lolita that their relationship didn’t undergo a change and she was comfortable with her, as she had ever been before and because of that Syna was up to scold her friend.
Would you have felt the same traumatic condition upon finding that the person who had been sleeping by your side, eating with you, sharing clothes with you since teen age is not a human? I believe you would have been frightened, the second emotion you would feel will be hatred.
Syna felt fear upon hearing those words from Lolita but then again, her relationship with the woman who had remained by her side when no one was there for Syna, overcame the frightful condition at once.
What about hatred?
How could she feel hate towards a victim? Syna could never suspect her friend, whom she had known since years, she believed in her placing the trust in whatever Lolita had said.
“Syna, I… I…thank you.”
Hestia chuckled softly more likely a way to express and unbelievable expression, as she had never expected Syna to understand the things with such an expertise and cool mind, whereas Lolita had a hunch that she would throw tantrums and would get angry upon her.
“Such a silly you are!”
Before Lolita could say anything, Syna waved her hand carelessly in the air to shoo off her ‘thank you’ gratuitous expression and hugged the lady instantly, that Hestia’s face got buried into Syna’s plump b.r.e.a.s.ts, which brought a faint red blush on Lolita’s cheeks.
The author wants to remind you the beginning of this whole story once again, a few aspects of love.
Love is often associated with sweet sensation and by poets described as the fragile rustle of butterflies wings in your stomach, the abnormal beating of heart upon seeing your beloved, and sensation as though your chest is being constricted – so that you are unable to breathe.
What if I were to tell you that it’s all a lie, it’s all farce descriptions, what if I say love is poison!
That these volcanic yet captivating emotions are venom, spreading in the blood, intoxicating the sane minds!
It isn’t something that you experience by getting hit due to cupid’s arrow, whereas it is set in motion by snake’s inveigling; the venomous game nature plays with us called love. What if I were to tell you that this vehement adoration is the rancor of love and that you shall lay down your life in its wake!
Whereas, Sinclair’s love was a sweet poison to Syna, unknown to the cursed bride that what game the fate has played with her, by binding the woman to Sinclair MacLaverty once again in the name of curse, for the Lord to take revenge on her, which couldn’t happen as the duo was destined to fulfill the vow of love, taken in the past life on the altar.
Another aspect of poisonous and blind love aspect lies of Jason and Braille, same as her strange name the lady was blindly in love with Sinclair MacLaverty, although knowing that he would eventually have a reincarnated mate soon.
She deceived Jason by trapping the naive man into the whirlpool of her love, just to get her ways. The foolish lady didn’t ponder about the circ.u.mstances which she had brought upon, along with triggering a war which was coming soon upon the Spirit Realm.
Lastly, was the bondage of Syna and Hestia, a sisterly relationship that would beat any love, that Syna could share anything and everything with Hestia rather conversing the things with Sinclair, her mate.
Hestia was having a healthy relationship with her mate, Brandon Brighton aka Hades. Although, their bond was a mistake but the duo had already found love, that they were head over heels for each other despite the fact that their relationship had begun with a mistake.
Many perspectives of seeing ‘love’.
For Sinclair MacLaverty it was a poison, which had blinded his senses in the past, that gave Syna a chance to kill him with her own hands.
For Hades and Hestia, it was a blessing, a heaven which they both were experiencing.
Jason thought of it as a struggle because he had to earn Braille’s love, more likely a mad man in love.
Whilst, for Braille Matteo Leste it was an addiction, an uncontrollable attraction she was feeling towards Sinclair MacLaverty since the beginning.
Whereas, everyone had their perspectives about love, how would Syna conclude it, after knowing the truth about her whole damn life she had lived and was living?
