La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 163
Sometimes we think that we know what is going on inside of people’s hearts and minds that we are certain of our thoughts.
And it makes sense, because based on the experience with them, we think that we know exactly the way they think.
The same thing happened to Hestia, who assumed that Syna might fear her and would eventually leave because she was not a human.
She created a pre sketch that Syna might react like the way she had assumed, the lady predicted that solely based on her premise that Lolita had known her since years and knew how normally Syna behaves under such situations.
But sometimes the circ.u.mstances changes a person and a sudden impulse or mostly a stimulus that forces a change, which influences the decision of the person making him or her to decide instantly and completely out of the regular and habitual style of the individual.
As hard as we try to give others the benefits of the doubts, we feel that we need to protect ourselves from the harm by expecting them to be the same as they have been before.
The sole reason Hestia did not want Syna to know about her identity was the dangerous outcome, which she had predicted in the form of end of their relationship. Hestia did not know that Syna would react that way, neither she had any idea nor she had expected such a reaction knowing her friend completely.
That just makes it easier for us to perceive and understand their new actions, it is a feeling safe condition. The slightest inflection in their voice can have so much meaning behind it.
Hestia did not want to come in front of Syna after knowing that her powers were fully awakened after meeting her mate, Hades. Sharing intimacy had also activated their mate bond, providing them both full access to their hidden powers and establishing a soul connection between them both.
The lady knew that there were chances that Syna might know about her identity soon but she did not expect the time to arrive so soon, when Sinclair MacLaverty had called out Hades for help while the Lord of hell was heavily indulged in the affairs of his courtroom and buried around the heaps of files, which were already been delayed enough to go through but had to wait because of Hestia.
When Sinclair asked more likely begged and requested to Hades for help, Hestia immediately felt that something was definitely not right. She had heard from Syna that how the Lord was in reality and how well he treated Syna. Upon hearing that something had reduced the undefeated and unbeaten Sinclair MacLaverty to begging and requesting, the matter must be influential and of high importance.
She was laying right besides her husband when the abrupt ring of something interrupted their romantic conversation, of course the talk about their future was an important matter. Hades took out a spherical blue ball from the pocket of his black jeans, the small useless thing held a great service of establishing a connection between those two men.
The gem served as a cell phone and was used by everyone in those two realms, Brandon Brighton took out the gem and a holographic image appeared before their eyes. Hestia carefully studied his features, and concluded that her hunch was correct, something was definitely wrong there in Syna’s side.
Lord Sinclair explained everything to Hades about the blood curse and that he needs Brandon to fetch the royal seer from his kingdom as soon as possible. Sinclair could have done this himself, right?
No, he could not. If the lord had dared to step out of the human realm, he would have been risked the life of his bride and Syna was possibly predicted to drift into an eternal sleep. Thus, he needed someone to do the task, a trustworthy person to step into his realm with the permit of the Ghost Lord.
Hades ended the call with a worrisome expression, the lord knew that Sinclair MacLaverty would not dare to hurt his sister, knowing the relationship between Hades and Syna and acknowledging that Brandon Brighton, Prince Salvatore in past life was standing and backing Syna behind the shadows.
The only reason Sinclair MacLaverty did not kill Hades for pulling that prank in the bar upon him, was that the mischievous lord was Syna’s brother from past life.
Hestia could not take it anymore and finally questioned to Hades about the matter, her tone was clearly worrisome. Although, the lady was happy in her own love life still she was worried about her friend and the call of Sinclair MacLaverty even added an unknown fear to her heart.
Hades knew that despite what Sinclair did to Jade Lombardi in his cabin and how badly he behaved with her and rashly drove his cousin out of the cabin, the great and mighty Ghost Lord, Sinclair MacLaverty needed him and Brandon Brighton had to help him.
He might have refused to help Sinclair but refrain himself from the decision just for the sake of his sister, who was unaware of the things and truths of past life.
Hades knew that he previously chose a wrong path to find his mate, Hestia, as he enrolled himself into that dating site to get a chance to meet his sister in order to find some clues.
Syna took Brandon Brighton as a suitor, unknown about his identity. How would she have reacted knowing that the person who approached her was not some dude pursuing with all his might, rather her brother.
Of course, in this life they both weren’t blood related to each other but still Hades saw the little lady as his sister. He was fully aware that Syna would not be able to withstand such truths in one go, so he refrained himself from visiting his unconscious sister.
Hades immediately headed towards the spirit Realm and brought the royal seer, how could Hestia keep herself calm and stay back at home? The queen of hell insisted upon staying by Syna’s side while the seer would activate the counter spell, for Sinclair MacLaverty to trespass Syna’s dreams.
When Hades felt that his sister was in good hands now and that, she would wake up soon, the loving brother decided to crawl back into the shadows. Whilst Hestia stayed by her friend’s side, carefully checking on Syna’s condition.
Her heart consistently was pounding fastly against her chest, not only because Syna was struggling to wake up and was fighting for her life, the thing that was accompanying the tension in her body was that Syna might question Hestia that how did she knew about her unconscious state.
Why was she informed rather any other person in the orphanage?
She was well aware that the outcome of the confrontation would definitely not be the good one.
Hestia might lose Syna’s trust, faith and perhaps it would turn out their last day together.
What an unfortunate moment it would be!?
But everything turned out to be opposite to what Lolita aka Hestia had imagined.
“Syna, I… I…thank you.”
Hestia chuckled softly more likely a way to express and unbelievable expression, as she had never expected Syna to understand the things with such an expertise and cool mind, whereas Lolita had a hunch that she would throw tantrums and would get angry upon her.
“Such a silly you are!”
Before Lolita could say anything, Syna waved her hand carelessly in the air to shoo off her ‘thank you’ gratuitous expression and hugged the lady instantly, that Hestia’s face got buried into Syna’s plump b.r.e.a.s.ts, which brought a faint red blush on Lolita’s cheeks.
