La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 164
If you are not at peace with your thoughts, don’t expect anyone to express theirs to you, their happiness and sadness to be disclosed in front of you.
If you are not at peace with your feelings, don’t expect anyone to be honest with you about theirs. Syna knew that she had to come out with a serene state of mind, to understand and to comprehend what Lolita had to tell.
Because if you can’t be at peace with the closest people around you, don’t expect new people to enter your life. Syna felt it completely, the need of the situation to hear out what her beloved friend had to present.
The cursed bride had heard Sinclair MacLaverty, her beloved mate, whom she had loved from the core of her heart, saying that ‘only he was allowed to kill her’!
At first, the lady could not recognize the voice who was talking more likely yelling at her, while she was in an unconscious state. The seemingly stupid blood curse had left her mild awake and half sleepy, that it took a while for her to register who was the owner of the course shouting.
The name which flashed in her awakened brain and apparently asleep body was ‘Sinclair MacLaverty’, what sent her in an unimaginable shock was…those words came out of the mouth of the person from she could not have expected such harsh words.
Syna could not comprehend why Sinclair MacLaverty threatened her to kill and why he wanted to murder her, bathing in her blood with his own hands. The bride had never imagined that one day Sinclair would say something like that to her.
She knew that only Sinclair could answer her queries and the lady did not want Lolita to worry about her anymore, as she had already been protecting her the whole life as a friend, staying by her side as a mentor.
Syna felt as if a huge chunk of memory was missing, a not so happy memory or perhaps a truth, which she was missing or maybe lost. She knew that for her every confusion she needed to confront Sinclair, as soon as possible.
Unknown to her, if you are not at peace with your past, don’t expect a hopeful future to come easily. What would happen if Syna comes to know about her past, the sinful deed she committed in her past life?
Peace starts from within.
It reflects on your outside whether you are aware of it or not.
It is the beauty of your soul that reflects the purity from within you.
Be at peace with yourself so that you may be content and happy with being who you are, or else you will be living in a conflict with no one other than yourself.
Syna had acknowledged the words and knew she needed to calm her throbbing nerves, to cool down her anger upon Lolita for hiding and regarding Sinclair MacLaverty she was hurt because of him, for an unknown and unexpected truth, which Syna wished to hear from Sinclair.
Or else one would eventually become in need of help from someone who is not you, don’t depend on anyone to answer your question. That’s why Syna did not want to share the matter with Lolita, who was already wearing a tense and worried expression on her beautiful face when Syna woke up.
Don’t depend on anyone to give you clarity, find the answers yourself. Find clarity yourself. Syna suspected that maybe Hestia did not know anything about Sinclair, after all no one in the whole Australia had known the mighty filthy rich CEO of MacLaverty conglomerate, Sinclair MacLaverty, in person or even in true sense.
You have a brain to guide you and a heart to motivate you. Syna concluded that she should listen to her brain which was saying that the lady had to give in to the thought of talking to Sinclair in person, whilst her heart was still confused that Syna refused to wake up and recover from her unconscious state because she had heard him claiming the right to kill Syna.
“Syna, you…you are squeezing me hard.”
Lolita’s cheek was touching Syna’s b.r.e.a.s.ts while the bride had pulled her into a hug terribly and strongly, that her voice was barely audible to her ears as she complained about Syna’s strength.
Sure enough a journalist, true to her name.
“Huh?”
Syna’s quizzical voice resonated in the room, in the midst of those white curtains and the four quiet walls as she saw Lolita’s face by ‘detaching’ her again.
“You are…squeezing me, you fool!”
Lolita barely spoke while she placed her both hands on Syna’s shoulder and blushed a little because of the closeness among their bodies.
“Oh! Oh, I’m sorry.”
She blurted out immediately, upon hearing Lolita aka Hestia’s hesitant utterance, that was the very moment she realized the so called distance between their bodies.
Syna felt her ears heated as her b.r.e.a.s.ts were close to Lolita’s face and the lady was sitting more likely leaning in such a posture that seemed as if Lolita was kneeling like a s.e.x addict damsel in front of Syna, who seemed to play the role of some sadist CEO from novels having Stockholm syndrome themes.
Lolita’s face turned bright red as the lady averted her stare and stepped back a little, meanwhile Syna felt something similar to her as she also followed her lead and tucked her back towards the bed while placing a hand on mouth, she couldn’t get over the pain in her lower abdomen but forgot to ask Lolita in the middle of the fiasco regarding her true identity.
You know those moments when you feel stuck between moving a step forward or staying where you are, comfortable in your own place, not wanting to commit yourself to something more?
Those are the critical moments that we often shy away from because of the unstoppable chain of questions attached to them: What if i regret this? What if I can get something better olif I wait a bit longer? What if it’s not really meant for me? What if now is not the right time?
And lastly the most important for Syna and Hestia, which clicked to both ladies, should they listen to the sudden impulsive response coming from their bodies? Or was it totally wrong to give in to those destructive emotions?
An awkward silence accompanied the room, along with the heated bodies of both ladies, maybe because of the weird and intimate posture preciously or it might be…perhaps they actually had developed something for each other in the very moment.
Who knows?
Who would have thought?
Can you predict?
It may happen, no?
Aren’t these impulsively triggered emotions a kind of poison, overflowing in their heated bodies?
“Err, Syna?”
Hestia covered her mouth with the right palm and initiated a talk to lighten the atmosphere.
“Uh? Yes?”
Syna lifted her head up and immediately responded back to Lolita, they both were having a difficulty in dealing with the incident which had recently occurred, more likely hesitation.
“Are you fine? I mean whatever I have told you, I know you trusted my words and believed in me…but…errm…”
Hestia paused for a moment and scratched her cheek with nail of index finger, she wanted to confirm something which was still troubling her deep down.
“What is it? You can say it easily, hun!”
The last expression of love had solved Hestia’s query but she wanted to hear it. Most of the time, the body gestures and tone does not narrate what’s going on in our minds.
A smile graced Hestia’s face upon hearing the cheerful tone of Syna as she motivated her to say whatever was troubling her mind.
“It’s like…that now you know I am not a human, do you fear me? Our relationship is the same as it was, right?”
Hestia finally blurted out the question which was humming and buzzing in her brain continuously, corrupting her heart too, filling it with the poisons of ‘suspect’ and ‘assumption’ at the same time.
“What the f.u.c.k!”
Syna shot up in her seat and smacked on her own forehead with an irritated groan.
“How many times I have to tell you, Hestia, that I AM NOT AFRAID OF YOU!”
Syna raised her voice in a particular manner that she emphasized every single word, taking a pause in between to highlight them.
“Okay, okay, I am sorry. Don’t shout. I apologise…it’s just…I can’t think to loose such a good sister.”
Hestia smiled at her, knowing that finally now Syna was in her usual avatar and regarding the thing to call Lolita by her true name, she understood that syna had already accepted the truth about her.
Syna folded her arms and pouted, she looked like an angry little kid, who was pretending to get her way with the matter. Just then the lady hit a certain thought, which she had completely forgot to ask.
“By the way, Hestia, if I’m not being rude then can I ask…err…who are you or what are you?”
Hestia knew this question was coming soon, she had seen through it but did not imagine Syna to ask with such curiosity.
There was a hint of something in Syna’s eyes.
Fear, no!
Hesitation, no!
Curiosity, yes.
But still something was missing, something difficult to conclude.
Just then Hestia’s eyes landed onto Syna’s lower abdomen and she saw the lady sitting with legs crossed and a hand on her core!
The vampire princess, gulped after seeing the sight, her ears turned red again.
What if they actually turn their preference!?
