La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 166
Syna folded her arms and pouted, she looked like an angry little kid, who was pretending to get her way with the matter. Just then the lady hit a certain thought, which she had completely forgot to ask.
“By the way, Hestia, if I’m not being rude then can I ask…err…who are you or what are you?”
Hestia knew this question was coming soon, she had seen through it but did not imagine Syna to ask with such curiosity. She could not help but smile at her expressions, an inwardly relief accompanied her deep down.
There was a hint of something in Syna’s eyes.
Fear, no!
Hesitation, no!
Curiosity, yes.
But still something was missing, something difficult to conclude.
“Oh? I knew this question would arrive soon, you curious wild cat!”
Hestia chuckled softly and covered her mouth by curling fingers into fists.
“Hey, don’t call me that!”
Syna raised her voice a little in anger, which of course was totally a fake expression, triggered because of the term ‘wild cat’.
She couldn’t help but to complain, Syna didn’t know how to swallow that term with which she was labelled as, during her time in the orphanage. She was always curious kitten and a dominant woman, and that was the sole reason the duo was known for having delinquent nature.
“Yes, humph!”
Syna let out an angry growl as she crossed her arms, by averting stare towards the other side. She tried to show hard… that the lady was not curious about Lolita’s identity at all.
But of course, it did not last long, Lolita knew that her friend couldn’t take it anymore. What she had predicted happened anyways, Syna peeked through her eyes and saw Lolita smiling, it was more likely a grin, she was wearing her victorious smile once again.
“Okay, okay, I give in. I am curious, now tell me.”
Syna raised her hands in the air to show that she had surrendered herself to Lolita, who knew that Syna couldn’t take anymore and will eventually repeat her curious question. Which actually happened and for the moment Lolita was waiting, wearing a proud and victorious smirk.
She leaned in and again placed her question in front of Lolita, the two ladies again shifted into the previous position as Syna crept closer to her friend. Her curious tone and excited words, proven Syna’s normal relationship and unaffected love towards Lolita.
“Heh, okay. So, I am a vampire!”
Lolita blurted out in one go and then glanced at Syna, who was giving off sort of O shaped expressions.
“And I have royal yet ancient blood running in my veins that makes me a little superior to other vampires, oh and yes of course more powerful in usage of our abilities.”
Lolita thought for a moment and then stated out the things to Syna, truthfully giving her all information about her, and a vague description of other vampires in her kingdom.
“So, royal blood means…you are a princess, right? Or maybe some queen?”
Syna’s eyes beamed with an unknown joy and curiosity to know further about her friend, who was her guardian too, assigned to protect her as the oracles predicted the prophecy.
“Ahh, yes. I am a princess but then again I am not. When I escaped from my kingdom in order to run away from the prophecy, I had betrayed my people. So, apparently I’m banished.”
“What? That’s bad, I mean how could someone not understand your feelings rather just banishing you from the kingdom.”
Syna felt bad for her friend, who had been a victim of injustice.
“I’m sorry, I’m really sorry. It all happened because of me, I don’t know how and what to do to make it up to you, lolita. But I really am sorry, if you hadn’t been assigned as my guardian all this….it would not have happened.”
She had understood that Hestia was determined to tell her everything about herself just because Syna had insisted, but she had never thought that because of her… her friend had to suffer such terrible and unimaginable things which included losing the trust of her parents along with the shutting of doors of the kingdom for her.
“It’s okay sweetie, you know. If I haven’t escaped from the kingdom and it wouldn’t have happened, then how was I able to meet such a good friend?
Lolita tried to lighten the atmosphere as she saw that Syna was about to cry and was feeling herself the core cause of what had happened to her.
But then again, for Lolita aka Hestia, her freedom was more important rather the throne of vampire kingdom which could give her authority, rather the shimmering crown which she could wear for eons. So, she didn’t hesitate to find a way to escape from the kingdom and of course she was destined to meet Syna even if she hadn’t attempt the risky escape or if she had.
“Mhmm.”
Syna let out a feeble whisper, assuring Hestia while she embraced the cursed bride into her warm and tight hug.
“And don’t you dare to think yourself the cause of this. It’s just we can’t escape from our destiny Syna, and I was fated to meet you, silly.”
Hestia detached her friend from the hug and scolded Syna, in the moment she resembled a strict old hag which one could find in the teaching institutions.
“Unhn.”
Syna nodded in agreement and smiled brightly at her.
“So, you said you have some powers, right?”
The naughty Syna was back now with her brain running devilishly towards various directions, Hestia knew that something really bad was about to come from Syna.
“What can you do? I mean can you make gold from stones, or turning someone into something else…or…or can you turn a frog into a prince charming?”
Hestia chuckled softly suppressing her giggles but eventually it turned into a loud laughter which echoed into the room, as the vampire princess laughed while placing her hands on tummy.
“What!? What happened to you? How can you think like that, I’m not a fairy, Syna. Haha, silly.”
Syna was glaring at her friend, of course how would she know about the abilities when she was just an ordinary human.
“Okay, I’m sorry for laughing at you. The powers I have are…I can heal anybody, can make a person turn into ashes, can teleport, telepathy and stuff like that.”
Hestia thought for a moment and listed out the things for Syna to remember.
“Oh, so, you can heal someone, right?”
Syna’s expressions beamed as if she had thought of taking advantage of her friend.
“Can you heal me? I mean I don’t know why it is hurting down there but I know you can heal it, right?”
Just then Hestia’s eyes landed onto Syna’s lower abdomen and she saw the lady sitting with legs crossed and a hand on her core!
“What the heck, Syna!”
The vampire princess, gulped after seeing the sight, her ears turned red again.
“It’s hurting because you were unconscious and some blood curse had acted up, I swear I don’t know it’s solution or any counter spell to lift it up. So, CEO Sinclair MacLaverty called out the royal seer from his kingdom and the old man presented the solution that he had to share a bed with you and apparently that included taking your first time too…”
Hestia was talking continuously without taking a pause, she narrated the whole thing in a light manner so that Syna wouldn’t feel bad or worse, in the aspect thinking that Sinclair had taken advantage of her while she was unconscious and unable to react.
“So, he cast a spell that drifted Sinclair into your dreams and I don’t know what had happened next but I believe you both had a great time, huh!”
Syna was blankly staring at Lolita who elbowed her with a naughty and curious expression.
“Oh, you don’t have to hide, Syna. Heh, I already saw him wetting his pants, you won’t believe me, that fool didn’t even notice and his friend sent him relieving medicines too!”
Hestia couldn’t speak about Hades that easily, it would make things worse as for that moment.
