La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 168
Lolita was spouting everything without taking a single pause or even considering Syna’s feelings, which of course were unknown to her.
She didn’t know what had happened between Syna and Sinclair in the company, all she was aware of was the act of intimacy they had shared, because that was all known to her as the vampire princess witnessed the whole spell and creeping into the dreams thing.
The naive woman was totally unaware of the fact that Syna didn’t feel any good about this rather the revelation had sent her into an utter shock.
“So, he cast a spell that drifted Sinclair into your dreams and I don’t know what had happened next but I believe you both had a great time, huh!”
Syna was blankly staring at Lolita who elbowed her with a naughty and curious expression.
“Oh, you don’t have to hide, Syna. Heh, I already saw him wetting his pants, you won’t believe me, that fool didn’t even notice and his friend sent him relieving medicines too!”
Hestia couldn’t speak about Hades that easily, it would make things worse as for that moment.
Syna’s lips were parted a little after she heard everything and whatever her friend had filled her in with, was no less than a nightmarish dream for her.
The cursed bride could not comprehend whether she should be happy that finally she had had Sinclair MacLaverty, the man every single woman was willing to be bedded with. Or whether she should worry that whatever Sinclair had spouted when she was about to lose her consciousness was true or not.
Because whatever Sinclair did to help Syna regain her consciousness was quite a contrasting act, if one compares it to his previous speech in the conglomerate.
Meanwhile, in the midst of the fiasco and the critical state of Syna’s condition someone had gotten a so called ‘big news’ related to both of them. Adriana had taken a shot of them when the duo was in the record room.
Unknown to her, that the daring attempt of capturing their pictures and to record Sinclair’s utterance would eventually lead her to the death, because the lord wasn’t willing to spare any single soul who would tarnish the reputation and do character assassination of his beloved wife.
The lady obsessively in love with Sinclair MacLaverty, Adriana had never expected that her boss, whom she had admired so far with her heart would eventually poison his girlfriend one day. The revelation was huge to Adriana as she had never expected this from Sinclair because the mighty CEO was known to give a cold shoulder to women.
The only conclusion that hit Adriana immediately was that maybe Sinclair MacLaverty used to poison his previous girlfriends and who would have thought that he was treating his women like a trash, gradually poisoning them when he had to get rid of the ladies!
The conclusion she reached was actually horrible and Sinclair’s words were the cause for the results of Adriana, ‘Only I can kill you!’. The only thing that eradicated the hatred and jealousy from her heart was the fear of Sinclair MacLaverty.
No, definitely not that kind of fear which could fix anyone in the place and induce frightful condition which is worth peeing in pants, rather Adriana felt sympathetic towards Syna.
She got suspicious when Sinclair rushed towards the elevator when he was informed about Syna’s whereabouts, Adriana wanted to follow him in order to get some clip or something that could prove that indeed the cursed was a sly fox, who was clinging to CEO Sinclair.
After hearing Sinclair’s half Sinclair’s half muttering, Adriana because extremely conscious about who exactly the lord was?
And what exactly was his truthful nature, the one he used to show in front of his employees, or the one she witnessed in that record room.
But one thing was clear that Adriana had made up her mind to help and avenge Syna, because according to her Syna had already died.
Moreover, an unknown trouble was stirring up somewhere in the agency, where Adriana was currently sitting in the office cabin of the editor.
The lady had the proof of the pictures and the recording of Sinclair’s last words, she headed there to avenge Syna, not because she had sympathised her but the fact that Sinclair was someone else in reality!
A beast! A person whom she didn’t believe he would turn or perhaps he was like that since the beginning, after all he was intending to kill Syna ever since he got her whereabouts.
Why he pretended to dress up for Syna, since the lord knew about her arrival in his conglomerate?
Definitely not because his long lost love popped up, and began to circulate in his warm blood.
The emperor of Spirit Realm intended to play filthy, by first throwing the cards of his love and then going for the pretence of affection. For the execution of that plan Sinclair MacLaverty needed to look presentable and ideal to make Syna fall for him once again.
But who would have thought that the Lord, himself, would gradually fall for his beloved wife once again. Sinclair’s revenge plan backfired more likely the lord changed his mind, or perhaps the very idea skipped through his mind that he had to take revenge.
When did it happen? No one knows how and when but maybe the answer to ‘why’ can be comprehend, no?
Love never dies!
Love never fades!
It stays alive and warms the home of the heart!
Sinclair quickly acknowledged that he was still bewitched, more likely poisoned with Syna’s love. It didn’t matter to his super ego anymore that he was killed at the hands of his beloved queen in the past life.
All he knew was, he wanted Syna back in his life.
He was still spellbound by her love, the very same desires running in his body at the sight of his bride.
Was it enough to forget and to forgive?
The unnaturally obsessive love of Sinclair MacLaverty towards his bride was fair enough for him to forget everything, and start anew.
La Serpiente, The Snake!
The snake of love had already bitten them both, and the poison was affecting their bodies and heightening the unsettling desires.
Syna was still willing to give Sinclair a chance to come clear with her, while the Lord was willing to do everything to keep and to make his bride happy.
Love never fades,
Let alone dies,
It stays alive,
Barely gasping but still
Keeps the home of heart,
Filled with hope!
