La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 178
Syna could hear her friend’s voice clearly through the closed door, she was deeply immersed into the thoughts of her beloved man.
Sinclair quickly occupied her mind with his thoughts and the time they both spent together, the moments which were sweet and romantic earlier became a nightmarish memory for her.
Syna buried her head inside the knees, the bride was not in the position to understand anything but somehow Hestia’s words were casting some effect on her.
“He hurt you okay, you know HURT YOU. You simply cannot forgive him, open the door and take your ass out immediately. We have to confront and take revenge on that bastard!”
Again she raised her voice intending to boost Syna’s flickering hatred by turning it into a raging anger, as she forced her to recall what misery she had just experienced.
Was she breaking them apart?
Definitely not.
But somehow Lolita’s provoking was helping her to get the broken pieces together, Syna was definitely not in the line of those ladies who were supposed to shed endless tears.
She was not the kind of woman who would cry upon some stupid breakup until her eyes get puffy and red due to endless activity of crying. Rather the lady was strong headed, to smack into Sinclair’s face and to shoot down him was her style!
Syna was sitting motionless on the bed with her head dived into the knees, though her heart was continuously igniting the flame of revenge.
The bride heard everything calmly whatever Hestia was saying and soon her heart and body was burning with the desire of vengeance.
Meanwhile, outside the quiet room, the vampire princess was well aware of her doing. Indeed Syna was having effect from her long speech and provoking, as the cursed bride wiped off her tears and sniffed.
Hestia knew that Syna would take the bait because to manipulate someone in their weakest hour, was something…similar to an easy peasy task.
She was well aware of her haughty and hyperactive personality, combined with rational decisions taken impulsively, Hestia had known that soon Syna would agree with her.
Lolita was expecting Syna to barge out of the room with a beaming face and determined mind to take revenge. After all she didn’t want her best friend to suffer and definitely not at the hands of a man, who doesn’t love her!
Lolita knew that her excessive emphasis and continuous reminding would gradually cast a great effect on Syna and she would be forced to come out of her bubble immediately, at the hands of her heart.
But I ask you, was it a right way to handle the things?
Or perhaps unintentionally and unknowingly Syna’s feelings regarding Sinclair MacLaverty, might have changed because of Hestia’s words?
Or it already had changed?
It could be possible that the vampire princess might have taken a naive decision of attempting such words to lure her friend out of the room.
Not an impossible theory actually.
She might have triggered an unsettling flicker of hatred which now had sprouted and grown into a wildfire within her.
Syna starred around at her room and the quiet walls, the only thought appeared in her mind was actually the result of Hestia’s nagging.
‘Even these walls doesn’t know why I’m crying, ughh! There is no need to get emotional, Lolita is right. I should confront Sinclair MacLaverty, after all I had loved that bastard truthfully and honestly.’
Syna stood up from the bed and wiped off her cheeks once again, she needed to remain strong and appear composed in order to confront CEO Sinclair MacLaverty.
A few fading rays of sunlight were still daring to peek inside the room from those pulled curtains, the ray of hope was still there. Even the mother nature and the Goddess was merciful enough to provide the duo various hints of coming darkness and the ray of hope.
Whereas, Hestia was getting impatient and Mr Lorenzo had arrived to help her out too.
“Come on, Syna.”
Hestia paused for a brief moment and cast a look at Mr Lorenzo, their faces creased with utmost worrisome expression.
Both of them had many question humming and buzzing in their minds, along with various fears, suspecting that Syna might do something stupid.
What do you think it could be? The most common answer, suicide!
But the cursed bride was thinking of something else, something big.
Syna moved towards the side of the bed in order to open the door.
“Stop your nagging, Lolita. I’m coming!”
She shouted on the top of her lungs as a smile appeared on her lips, that still many people were by her side.
The bride walked past by the bed but who would have known that a horrible nightmare was waiting for her in the mirror!
Syna halted in front of the reflection, which forced her to step back a little more likely stagger.
“Haa… aaahhh”
Who would have the courage to see such a hideous appearance, Syna fell down on the edge of the bed as her loud shriek echoed throughout the room.
“Syna? Syna? Are you alright, what happened?”
Mr Lorenzo began to bang on the poor door mercilessly out of worry after hearing Syna’s yelling.
“Step aside, Grandpa. I will blow it.”
She could have opened the door earlier, right? Why these stupid supernatural beings tend to forget that they have magical abilities?
Mr Lorenzo stepped aside to give enough space to Lolita, for blowing down the door which she didn’t intend to do earlier.
Meanwhile, in the room Syna was shivering with fright, her eyes never left the reflection in the mirror.
The lady barely gasping at the horrendous sight lifted her hand up to touch her face, suspecting and hoping that the reflection wasn’t hers.
Lolita aka Hestia had created a magical ball of energy waves to blow down the wooden door, she needed to check upon Syna’s current condition.
Syna couldn’t not believe that the terrifying reflection was hers, as she touched the unusually long pointy nose which was crooked at the tip.
Unknowingly, a few warm tears had left her eye sockets and Syna could see the stream on her extremely pale cheeks, which had big pimples filled with water.
The once beautiful face was now having wrinkles on the unusually pale greenish skin, her lips had turned darker, eyes shoved into the sockets and the skin from cheekbones was terribly shrunk back.
Braille Matteo Leste’s spell worked its effect perfectly which had turned Syna into an ugly hag!
