La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 195
I pitied my brother’s fate but then again it was his fault for giving his heart to such a serpent, who was there to make his life a living hell!
But then I recalled that it was actually the dangerous foul play of the goddess of love who was the actual culprit!
“You were keeping an eye on us and still claim to love me, is this love? You are insane Braille! We both are a couple okay, a happy couple. I can’t believe that my fool brother is still in love with you, you are nothing but a serpent living in his home and heart! I know you Braille, but I’m warning you don’t dig your poisonous fangs in my brother’s heart!”
She held my shirt and pleaded by making an eye contact, while somehow I could sense her sincerity.
“Please don’t say that Sinclair, I know I did wrong but everything was just to have you. I couldn’t stand you with any other woman, but don’t ridicule my feelings for Jason. I have realized that he is my mate, though he won’t forgive me but I’m sure he would some day.
I wanted to strangle her to death but refrained to lay my hands on her, all because of my naive brother. Or else, I would have smacked her head into the wall for playing a curse on my woman, my bride, my queen to be!
“You have to pay for this for hurting my woman. And keep this in your mind that I love Syna and she is my wife, my only bride and I won’t let you off again even if Jason comes to beg me!”
I warned her and turned around to leave, though my hands were still itching as she was the only target, I was letting spare!
“No, you can’t leave without forgiving me, please Sinclair you can’t do this to me. Don’t leave like this, please I beg you…Ask Jason to forgive me.”
I walked out of the room, when her sentence stuck my ears and I felt sympathy. Braille was just a naive, foolish woman, she was childish and that’s what brought her to that situation.
I could feel a change in Jason’s behaviour, he wasn’t showing his affection towards her. Of course, I was aware of his inner battle but deep down I knew that my brother would eventually hear to his heart.
“This is a matter between you and Jason, I have nothing to do in this regard and don’t drag me. He is your mate, not I.”
I stormed out and called Elmore before stepping out of the castle. Jason had a hunch that something bad was going to happen soon and the intuition was troubling him. I handed over that pen drive to him, while I felt that he was shaking with fear.
“Take this. You know what to do and don’t worry, she is alive!”
My stern voice relieved him from the assumption, that I might have killed Braille in my anger.
“Are you sure, master, that this is necessary to do?”
He was standing outside the car, as the man watched me from the car window. I needed to go back to human Realm, the same way I had arrived.
“Ah! yes, yes, it is necessary. Just take care of this matter.”
I strictly instructed to him and my trustworthy right hand man nodded obediently.
Driving back to home I was distracted, only Braille’s words were banging in my mind. My grip on the steering became strong and body was becoming cold, nearly stiffed because of fear that perhaps my brother would never be able to live happily.
Many colours were coming on my face, thoughts were running and my heart was racing.
I reached the orphanage and with heavy steps, I walked towards Syna’s room with turtle steps. My bride was standing in front of the mirror when I opened the door, she turned around towards me while moving her fingers in hair.
To see her safe and sound tears began to form in my eyes and I hurriedly hugged her, to which she responded by wrapping arms around me.
“Don’t leave me again, Syna. I don’t want you to go away, I don’t want us to part. Please don’t assume like this again, next time please ask me.”
I, Sinclair MacLaverty, the famous bachelor business man rumoured to be a flirt, casanova, even gay kept himself preserved for his love from previous life.
And now that love wanted to part with me, even unknowingly but the mere thought had sucked the soul out of me. I knew that I had many enemies out there who could hurt Syna just because I love her.
Being her man I couldn’t let that happen, I pleaded to her, the strong shelled man cried in front of her. I nearly begged Syna for not to leave me like this again, indeed I was nothing apart her.
She caressed my hair from back as I stood there in that very position, hugging her and placing my chin in the crook of her neck.
Making her unable to move and I didn’t want her to move an inch let alone disappear from my eyes.
“I love you Syna and I will until my last breath. There has been one woman and that is you, only you. If I am granted another life, I would still wish to be with you no matter where you are!”
I sniffed her fresh scent, perhaps she just had a bath when I barged in and didn’t notice. Within a calm tone she informed me something, which indicated that she was not angry anymore.
“Let’s have lunch tomorrow somewhere out. Okay? It has been so long since we went out and I want some fresh air too!”
She scooped my face with a genuine smile, of course, I could understand that she needed time to swallow those things.
“I have a surprise for you.”
She winked playfully, making me puzzled again.
“Don’t let that surprise be divorce papers!”
My began to pound faster as I joked about divorce, and that made me realized that I owed Syna a grand wedding!
She chuckled slightly and kissed my forehead while lifting herself up on toes.
“No it won’t be, silly. How can that be?”
