La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 198
Syna was filled with various emotions at the moment after knowing that she was going to be a mother.
Of course, motherly love became heavy in her heart but soon while brushing her hair, another emotion hit her head slightly returning to the front.
‘Would Sinclair accept this child? Or…I don’t know.”
Syna could not comprehend what Sinclair’s reaction could be, after all it were only three weeks since their consummation of bond.
‘Whoa! I’m going to be a mother! How Sinclair would react upon hearing this? I’m sure daddy will love you as much as I do, baby!’
Syna conversation with her unborn child was going on, her hormones were acting up that she jumped onto one thought to another.
Her mind was constantly running and assuming things, jumping on conclusions directly.
She was excited for a new journey, didn’t know why but she saw herself more beautiful, more attractive and striking.
‘Wait! It is just…Oh! How it can be possible that I got pregnant only in three f.u.c.k.i.n.g weeks?’
It was the moment when her brush reached the shoulder blade, the mere thought hit her brain.
Syna glanced back at the duo behind her, it would have been difficult for her to swallow the truth about them but the news of becoming a mother took away all her sorrows.
‘These two fools….ughh! They both hid such big things from me, how could they!? Actually how dare they!?’
Syna cast a loving look at the duo while watched them both still fighting over something.
Just then the other thought pricked her mind that they both had lied to her, the lady flared up and glanced at them with rage filled in her eyes.
Meanwhile in the lounge outside, Hades reached out for Lolita aka Hestia, and gave a pouty look with fake anger after she had punched him gently on head, though he was the one who began the quarrel.
Whereas, the duo was being lovey dovey and quarrelling, they both totally ignored the presence of any third person. Syna saw them both with Hestia pushing her boyfriend’s face away while Hades was persistent to steal another kiss from her.
She placed the brush down on the table and dashed outside towards them, of course they both needed to be pushed after confronting.
“You two! Hey, I’m talking to you,”
Syna yelled at them and tucked her hands on waist while her eyes were darted on their faces, shifting the stare from one to the other.
“I understood whatever you both said but it does not mean that I am forgiving you both for hiding so many things from me.”
Syna bombarded them both with various sentenses that both of them simply just stared at her blankly.
“Hey, hey, Syna…honey we did not intend to lie to you and technically we did not. It is just, just that we avoided telling you the truth behind your curse.”
Hades aka Brandon Brighton shot up from the sofa and walked up to Syna, who stood a few steps away. His tone was anxious perhaps filled with some guilt too, as though he actually hid the truth from the young lady.
Syna was not in a mood to forgive them both and crossed her arms, tucking it across chest. The only sound which came from her mouth was an angry humph, and then silence accompanied it.
“Do not you dare get us wrong, girl. We did not tell you this before because we were afraid of hurting you, you were already disturbed by the curse thing.”
Hestia tried to make her calm as the lady strode towards her.
“Sit here, young lady!”
She addressed Syna like an elder woman and grabbed her arm to make her sit with her.
“Do not you think we think right, I mean put yourself in my shoes Syna. Think for a moment that you were already mentally disturbed by that marriage proposal and believe me, I did not know this…about your past life until I met Hades.”
Hestia explained the things turn by turn, while she held Syna’s hand. Her voice was indeed anxious because whatever she was saying was just truth, a heavy truth.
“I swear Syna, I did not have any idea of this until I hooked up with Brandon and came to know that what was the actual story.”
Hestia shrugged and in the very moment Syna realized something but before she could speak, her friend narrated the answer beforehand.
“Now ask yourself, even you did not know that Sinclair MacLaverty was the actual Ghost Lord until a few weeks ago. How could I know what was going on and how foul yet a little fair destiny had played.”
Of course, it was true what Hestia said.
Hestia could feel that something was going on in Syna’s mind, that made her mute for a few moments.
“Mhmm. You are right but still you two could have told me this before, though…though I- Its hard to even gulp that I killed him.”
Syna muddled and then all she did was just a hum, she shifted her eyes towards Hestia and then towards Hades. Her voice again rose in anger though she stuttered previously, it was definitely not an chunk rather a big lump!
Hades was sitting quietly because it was the only way to save his arse in between two women, he was well aware of the things he hid but did not want to bring it up again.
I mean it was an embarrassing moment to recall that he once went on a so called date with his sister from past life. But then again, it was definitely not the intention to approach Syna.
So, Hades felt himself to stay quiet in order to stay invisible to both of the ladies, sitting in front of him.
“But if you still want us to behave and be sorry, then tell me what I have to do to earn your forgiveness?”
Hestia heaved a sigh, knowing that there was no way she could win from Syna. So, the lady brought up the point of forgiveness which caused a wide smile on Syna’s face.
