La Serpiente, Foxy cursed bride in CEO Ghost’s lair - Chapter 36
Sinclair stood up and a portal opened in a wall which showed a garden on the other side of the circled energy, in a bright day light.
Sinclair stepped in that energy portal which led him towards his destination, MACLAVERTY MANOR.
It was about thirty minutes journey towards the outskirts of the city to the most beautiful area.
Of course the thing of riches called out loud, It was adorned with various flowers on the outside of the mansion, each one beautiful and glamorous in it’s colour.
“It is good to be back.”
Sinclair stretched his muscular arms up and inhaled the fresh air, of course the air within his green bubble was better than outside one.
The mansion was decorated exquisitely, everything was expensive and was placed elegantly. The wood work was quite impressive and expanded to the whole mansion, the outside view was just a glass house precisely.
The resplendent manor was stretched on vast area and the aerial view would probably take a helicopter ride to measure the area.
“W-what is this?”
As soon as Sinclair stepped into the human realm, his bondage got connected to Syna again.
He felt a spark initiated in his body, as his heart raced faster for a few seconds, he crouched down on the lush green grass.
“Ahh! A-awh my heart.”
Placing right hand on his heart he dropped on the grass with a thump, his vision blurred and a pang of pain pierced his heart.
He felt a sharp sword stabbed into his heart and then twisted to sides, Sinclair felt his soul shattered and was about to leave his body.
Wincing in immense pain he curled his body and laid down on the grass, heavily panting and sweating.
He could hardly grasp a breath when the spiritual bondage got connected again, not because it was the usual thing with mate bonds.
Rather he felt mixed emotions of Syna, hatred and refusal, despair and acceptance to the destiny. He was confused with her emotions, if he could see the flashes of her thoughts.
“You have brought this upon yourself, do not blame me this time.”
Sinclair sat up finally when the pain died down, and he clearly felt his bride’s feelings.
With one leg curled up towards his sturdy chest and other straightened, he took the rational decision and was determined to put his plan into work.
“I do not want to lose you simply, and can’t afford any more time to make you fall in love with me.”
Sinclair was fully aware that he needed to change his strategies now as the darkness was ascending.
And did not want his beloved bride to fall a prey to other’s poisonous nets, he knew that he was not the one without enemies and how the unbalanced venomous emotions killed his family and his bride previously.
The whole manor was designed in a modern way from every aspect, the color schemes were somewhat royal but Syna found the maroon and blue combination of shades a bit gloomy and depressed…..
Controlling her tears back she felt herself worthless and the most miserable being. The curse forced her to marry a person whom she did not even love. And when she protested and asked for more time to find the man she truly loved, the circumstances chained her within the written destiny.
And now when she agreed to the only condition, her submission did not work either, in the middle of daylight and within the bustling city, she was abducted right away after she stepped out of the hospital.
Two men emerged from the shadows and one placed a cloth on her mouth and nose, when she walked out for some fresh air. With the paraffin stench her vision became a little foggy and different images popped up in her mind.
She felt the whole world around herself rotating within a circle and before she could fall down, the other man picked up her legs. Syna tried to struggle but no one responded to her muffled voices as if she became invisible to everyone’s eyes.
And now when she gained consciousness, the cursed bride found herself into the rightful Ghost King’s lair, who happened to be her boss, the mighty Sinclair MacLaverty.
Unknown about her current whereabouts, she was laying on the bed, the four posture thing was decorated with roses but the lady was tied up, her wrists and ankles were chained, tied with strange shackles. A black foggy aura served the purpose of the chains or rope.
Her lips were not sealed, quite contrary to how kidnappers treat their preys. Syna tried to struggle but the strange shackles did not allow her to break free. Helplessly she threw her head back on the bed and decided to wait for someone to arrive and check on her.
A lady walked in and the door went opened with a creak. Syna felt a sudden shudder did not know why, the room was not cold. Maybe the fear of a stranger overcame her and in such a situation when she was the bride of some powerful lord, who could burn down everything to ashes.
“Your clothes are in the cupboard ma’am and other accessories are also placed. Master will visit soon, milady.”
She pointed out in a certain direction to which Syna simply stared, totally flabbergasted.
“I will take my leave.”
The lady dressed in a black uniform precisely a frock with a white apron on it, probably in her mid thirties, bowed obediently and left the room.
