Lady Boss Please Spoil Your Husband - Chapter 314
Ethan’s energy was fully recharged after Lillie’s hugs and kisses, and was ready to face the outside world again.
Lillie guided him around the campus, showed him her favorite places like the massive library that looks like it came straight out of the Victorian Era.
The two stopped by the training fields, the gardens, orchard, museum, music room, gymnasium, and the cafeteria.
There were still more the Academy has to offer, but Lillie decided to cut the trip in the campus short. It’s time to bring Ethan to her favorite place ‘outside’ the campus.
In Yinglong Chao Island, the Academy wasn’t the only structure standing, there was also a large town not very far, where there were all sorts of shops; selling things the people from the Academy will be needing.
And their currency would be the points they have on their card.
But Lillie wouldn’t take him there.
“There were stables here too?” Ethan admired the large horses of different colors neighing and huffing behind their individual wooden gates.
“The Academy loves taking care of animals. We could’ve gone to where they keep the tiger cubs, but that’ll have to wait next time.”
“Why couldn’t we have gone for the tigers first rather than the horses?”
“We’ll be needing them to take us faster to our last stop.” Lillie elucidated before she went to talk to the stable boy and asked him to prepare two horses for them.
“Right away, Grand Disciple.” The stable boy nodded before springing into action. He called for another stable boy. Then, the two of them brought out the horses Lillie chose.
Two beautiful midnight black stallions. The stable boys meticulous put on the horses’ saddles and reins before bringing them outside where Lillie and Ethan waited.
“Here you are, Grand Disciple.” The stable boys handed the reins of the black stallion with a white, diamond shaped spot on his forehead to Lillie, while Ethan got the one with the white mane.
Two majestic creatures they are, standing tall and proud as if they were bred to accompany the generals through battle.
“Thank you, we’ll bring them back soon.”
“Take your time and enjoy yourselves, Grand Disciple. It has been years since you last rode the horses here. Sirius and Deimos terribly missed you especially.”
“They certainly didn’t failed to let me know.” Lillie chuckled helplessly as her face was assaulted by licks and nudges from the two black stallions.
After they were done displaying their affections, Lillie mounted Sirius, the horse with the white diamond spot on his forehead, gracefully and with ease—speaking volume of her expertise in horseback riding.
Ethan rode horses before at the ranch owned by a family friend when he was young. That was only one time, but his body memory helped him mount Deimos smoothly.
This pair weren’t like any horses Ethan have seen before. They were very calm, and they emit an ambience of regality and aloofness.
Sounds like these two fit Lillie and Ethan’s personalities superbly.
“I wish for you two to have a safe and pleasant trip.” The stable boys bade, bowing their heads in unison.
Lillie and Ethan thanked him before they urged their horses to dash off towards the woods.
