Lady Boss Please Spoil Your Husband - Chapter 419
Patched up and ready to go, the two parties parted ways without much fanfare, aside from Yang Nina’s impassioned babble of gratitude, Han Taiyi swatting her to stop, and Chu Lizheng being the mediator.
Lillie had them dropped off a block away from the place where Yang Nina was staying. It wasn’t an easy task to convince Han Taiyi to hop inside the car they—take note—’borrowed’. But you can already guess that she was powerless against Yang Nina and Chu Lizheng’s combined acquiescence to the offer.
They’ve already gotten this far with their lives intact thanks to them. So Yang Nina and Chu Lizheng choose to tread with caution while placing a good amount of trust into their benefactors while Han Taiyi proffered none.
No one blamed her behavior. On the contrary, Lillie finds it amusing and charming. She’d never been the subject of Han Taiyi’s hostility.
Only ever knowing her as the student who greatly admires her seniors, the Grand Disciple Life and Death—though the latter was oftentimes the usual recipient of Han Taiyi’s annoyance.
So this was quite a refreshing outlook.
Yang Nina and Chu Lizheng were polite enough to bid them goodbye while Han Taiyi just scoffed and rolled her eyes at them. Neither of the two groups gave each other proper introductions but none complained and deliberately set it aside.
The students didn’t leave empty-minded. They brought with them knowledge, realization, and well-constructed guesses.
In retrospect, they were at a disadvantage. The other group knows that they’re Soaring Dragon students. Digging out their names wouldn’t be difficult. Especially if their guesses are correct and they are who they presume them to be.
Meanwhile, all they know are them being high-ranking members of the White Bird Organization. There’s nothing else for them to work with. Their appearances are also not to be relied on.
If the three students could read minds, they would’ve been blown away once they figured out who Lillie and Ethan are.
Han Taiyi and Yang Nina would make a fuss at how unfair it was that their identities were known intimately by two particular individuals while they remain oblivious.
Han Taiyi and Chu Lizheng’s inquiry about their affiliation with the renowned pair of Grand Disciples was left to be pondered within themselves, not believing that these Demons would give them straight answers.

Han Taiyi and Chu Lizheng were staying in the same hotel as their assignment while Yang Nina and the rest of her classmates and batchmates were at one of the Academy-owned dormitories together with their teachers.
When the three of them arrived at the traditional-style Chinese estate, they were welcomed by the sight of a silent commotion.
Yang Nina saw some of her teachers pacing around the courtyard with tense expressions. She assumed that the rest probably went out to search for her and those three, treacherous classmates of hers.
“Yang Nina!” A look of relief washed over her teachers. They marched towards them with hurried steps and crowded her and her seniors.
“Child, where have you been?!”
“You’re injured!”
“Do you know how dangerous what you did was?! Who are these with you?”
“Oh, dear. How could this happen? Look at those injuries! Exactly what kind of trouble did the three of you encounter?”
“Come, come! You need medical attention right away!”
“You two are the new disciples Grandmaster Wei accepted, right? The newly-promoted Heavens?”
“Oh, I recall now. I’ve seen you around Yang Nina a lot.”
“This disciple greets venerable teachers. I am Han Taiyi together with my partner, Chu Lizheng. Indeed we are Heaven-ranked disciples of Gentle Tempest Courtyard.” Han Taiyi and Chu Lizheng saluted. “I beg masters to excuse our untidy appearances and request a moment of your time to make an urgent report before anything else.”
“The two of us would suffice. Disciple Yang Nina, on the other hand, may be excused and brought in for treatment.” Chu Lizheng placed a hand over Yang Nina’s shoulder and said to her, “We’ll handle this.”
“But Zheng-ge, Yi-jie,” Yang Nina protested. “I need to speak my piece too.”
“Nonsense. Whatever you need to say, you can relay it when we’re certain you’re all out of danger from those wounds you sustained.” Yang Nina’s teacher, Master Yue, the one who consoled her after her encounter with those scary pair in the alleyway, shot them stern looks and motioned them to follow with a wave of his hand.
The three looked embarrassed for being scolded and soon followed after Master Yue.
As they walked through the hallways, Han Taiyi couldn’t help but think that those benefactors of hers were quite the shrewd bunch to consider that they wouldn’t like to be admitted to the hospital despite the severity of their injuries.
Assumably they know the reason, why help them to that extent? Was it that they were honestly being considerate, or that they just also happen to not like hospitals?
Unknown to Han Taiyi, the answer is pretty straightforward, if she knows the identity of one of her benefactors.
Lillie had been a student of Soaring Dragon, hence she knows best that whatever injuries they sustained while out on a mission is to be treated by the Academy’s own medical team.
Furthermore, the Academy owns a lot of private hospitals that are scattered all over the country. The Academy is excessively wary and doesn’t trust outsiders to take care of their students.
Besides being martial art experts, Soaring Dragon produces a lot of physicians. With the Dark Doctor, Grandmaster Yang, in their midst, it wasn’t surprising.

Everything that transpired that night was recounted by the two Heaven students, including who saved them.
“We’ll have to set aside the issue regarding the two Underworld Leaders for a while. The heinous act against Earth Disciple Yang is a more pressing matter.” Master Yue frowned, stroking his clean-shaven chin. He sighed. “I dread to inform this to Grandmaster Yang, but it must be done.”
We feel your dread, Master Yue. Grandmaster Yang’s precious granddaughter was out in danger the second time right under his nose. Being furious would be the understatement of the year.
What he’ll do to those who were involved in endangering his granddaughter is up to their imagination.
“The other three are still missing. Do you think they’ve run away after realizing the gravity of their actions?”
“Then it must mean that they’ve planned for Earth Disciple Yang to be at the crux of peril since the beginning.”
“As for Heaven Disciples Han and Chu’s plight, this wasn’t within the parameters of their mission. Someone led them to think this ‘simple’ espionage was an additional assignment commissioned by the Academy.”
“Do you recognize who the messenger was?” Master Yue asked the Heaven students.
“This disciple was lacking and didn’t pay closer attention. I let my guard down after seeing this person draped with a teacher’s garb.” Chu Lizheng cast his head down in shame.
There are as many teachers in the Academy as there are students. Chu Lizheng does not know all of them. “But I remember his face. This disciple can stretch it right away.”
“An intruder posing as a teacher, or a traitor?” Master Yue loudly pondered before flicking his wrist. “Very well, you may get on with the task. Heaven Disciple Han and Chu may rest here. Your rooms have already been prepared.
“Thanking Master Yue..” Han Taiyi and Chu Lizheng clasped their hands and lightly bowed.
