- Chapter 446: The Premature Destruction
Within the raging sea, with water splashing in every direction and lightning raining from the dark clouds, the terrifying dragon burned in black and purple energy.
“What do I think of gods? It doesn’t matter, dragon, as I will not join your war.
“If you think you are ready for what you brought upon this world, then you are wrong. Go away from my waters before you bring doom on me too.”
The words carried the ominous undertone of hopelessness.
‘It doesn’t matter. Even if the world collapses and gods descend upon me, I can still retreat away and gather more power.’
”Your Lordship, we are under attack.” Suddenly a magic message popped into his mind, the voice of the young dragon filled with distress resounding in his head.
‘Did the gods finally attack?’
The dragon flapped his wings one last time, and the golden light swallowed him. The next moment he was back in the infernal hell that was the solar corona gathered at the bottom of his divine kingdom.
The horned kobolds were already waiting on the island with the portal, deeply bowing their heads and scraping against the smooth metallic ground.
“Your Majesty, we are under attack. Earth elementals raised from the caves everywhere and attacked our positions.”
“Master, water elementals in the lakes went berserk and flooded their surroundings.”
“Your Highness, all the volcanoes exploded and are spewing out legions of fire elementals. They are advancing and destroying everything in their path.”
‘What in the damnation is going on? So suddenly?’
POV ???:
Animals, goblins, and players ran through the woods. The smoke drifted everywhere, making it impossible to see more than a few tree trunks before them.
“Shit, one is right…” An orange glow flashed, and the next moment the player turned to ash before he could finish his thoughts.
The second player turned behind his shoulder, and his eyes went wide in panic as the forest burned, with the flames devouring the trees. The tall fiery silhouettes moved within the flames, their eyes of spinning blue fire closing toward them.
The fire exploded, and his vision turned black.

You were killed by a fire elemental warrior.

POV ???:
The walls shook and cracked, massive stone bricks falling like an avalanche. The tremors intensified with each passing moment, the buildings collapsing everywhere and roads crumbling into widening fissures.
A worker desperately clenched the metal scaffolding rails high above the streets as he tried to stop himself from falling to his death.
“Why?” His work and the hope for survival collapsed right before his eyes. The walls that were supposed to protect them just collapsed, destroyed by the force of nature.
“The square is collapsing!” The desperate cries of the people reached him all the way to the top of the walls.
The stone shrapnel flew in every direction as the square exploded with boulders thrown high into the air. A deep and black hole opened in its center, the sound akin to drums reverberating from its depths.
‘What is going on?’
A hand of metal and stone grasped its edge, each of its fingers as thick as the torso of an adult man.
‘No, this is not a natural catastrophe. This is sabotage!’ The man fell to his knees, disgusted by the forces and powerful beings ruling over the world.
‘Instead of protecting the weak, they are just destroying everyone who dares to stand against them without any care for collateral damage.’
POV ???:
A pair of golden, reptilian eyes looked up into the sky. The ground shook under its feet as they raised their neck. The tyrannical body of the ground dragon, covered from its neck to the tip of its tail in dark metal armor and diamond-like spikes, tensed as they felt the vibrations in the air.
“Who dares to intrude upon my territory?”
The metal clanged like bells of the mortal’s temples as invisible attacks rained all over its mighty armor, scratching the shiny metal. The trees collapsed one by one, cut in half by the invisible blades digging fissures into the soil.
Rage filled its mind, energy already condensing in its throat, ready to retaliate against the coward attacking it.
‘Despicable, wind elementals. The worst and most cowardly of their entire pathetic race.’ It already knew its foe. It was its natural nemesis, the enemy that counterbalanced its impregnable defenses with agility.
POV Vesuvius:
The dragon raised into the sky. The bright golden and purple flames expanded out of his body, illuminating everything in his sight as if he transformed into a sun.
‘This?! I hate you!’ The ground shook, with buildings and mountains collapsing in landslides of stone. The forests and houses burned, and the lakes and rivers expanded beyond their natural borders, flooding the fields and villages.
As far as he could see, his kingdom was annihilated and destroyed. His minions were slaughtered without even having a chance to defend themself against the powers they couldn’t see.
Even though he knew most of it would be destroyed anyway once the gods that supported his strike, he would at least have a chance to pick what to save. However, now it was all out of the window as the enemy gods also made their first big move.
At least, he noticed something: ‘Ohh, there is no lightning… can that mean that the failed attack of the storm god on me weakened cost them enough to keep them out of this coordinated attack?’
The dragon only watched in despair and fury as everything was destroyed and bastardized by the gods hiding in the heavens. There was nothing he could do. Even if he moved, he couldn’t cover the entire continent alone.
