Learning To Love Again - Chapter 103 Female Stalker
Su Lian left work early so she could pick her son up from school and take him out to eat. But she had to run a few errands first and ended up getting caught in traffic on her way back. By the time she arrived at the school, most of the other kids had already been picked up.
“Mommy.” Su Yichen ran straight to her the moment he saw her.
She carried him up and kissed his little face. “How are you, baby? I’m sorry I came so late.”
He didn’t seem to mind. But he looked very eager to leave.
Su Lian scratched his tiny nose and laughed at his anxious face. “Should we eat first or play first?”
“Play, play.” He answered immediately.
Su Lian nodded her head. “It’s settled then.” She brought out a pair of sunglasses and put them on him before getting in the car. Now that Han Yuan lives right beside them, she needs to be more careful. Keeping Yi Chen’s appearance hidden is very important. Even though a pair sunglasses doesn’t really do much, they’re still better than nothing.
…
Soon after, they arrived at an amusement park with a kiddies’ arcade.
Su Yichen was so ecstatic. He wanted to go on every ride and play every game. Su Lian could only helplessly follow along. They won so many prizes and ended up spending over two hours there.
“I’m hungry.” He says while holding his stomach.
She had bought some snacks while they were hopping from one activity to another, but that can’t replace dinner.
They could go home and eat, but it would take almost an hour to get home.
“We can go to my favorite restaurant. It isn’t too far from here.” She says and takes a hold of his hand.
After calling Stephanie to tell her that they won’t be home for dinner, the two head off.
…
The King’s Kitchen
Su Lian would come here all the time with her mother and old friends.
The food they serve isn’t very expensive, but it’s delicious. All the waiters are kind and the entire restaurant just has a homey feel to it.
She has so many memories here and it feels really good to be back.
After they are seated and place their order, another figure walks inside. She has on a beanie, a pair of glasses and a surgical mask.
She takes a seat at a table in a corner and orders a meal to-go. While waiting for her food, her eyes land on Su Lian and widen in shock, but she quickly looks away before anyone can notice.
When the food comes, she doesn’t leave but just waits with it.
Su Lian notices her gaze but chooses to ignore it. She came to eat with her son, not focus on weirdos.
When they finish eating, the mother and son get up and leave. The masked woman also decides to leave and makes her way to the exit.
She follows them all the way to the parking lot and Su Lian, who’s had enough turns around to face her. “Who are you and what do you want?”
The girl abruptly stops and gestures for her to lower her voice. “Don’t draw attention,” she says while taking off her hat.
Her long locks of pink hair cascades down her back as she proceeds to remove the mask and sunglasses. “No need for alarm, it’s me.”
“Kim Xia?”
