Legacy Of Forgotten Times - Chapter 196 Fosse Grim
Seeing her stats Linri did know what kind of expression he should make. If he wanted to say she was strong that was not true but if he said she was weak that wasn’t true either. Maybe his own standard for judging powers was too high but after seeing Rina praise her like that it would be a lie if he said he wasn’t expecting more.
“Let’s go,” Linri said as he turned around to leave.
“To where?” Rina had question marks all over her head.
“I might know where we might be attacked next so we are going to wait there,” Linri said.
“You do?”
“I said I might. I am not exactly sure either”
“Do you want to call others?”
“Not really, I am not sure in the first place. So if I am wrong they would be waiting there for nothing”
Soon the trio arrived on the second floor of the main building. When he arrived he noticed there were already three people waiting there; Kou, Rondo and Fosse. Linri frowned. He did not know why they were here… Well, he obviously knew they were here to fight against [Water Lord] Leon but he could not guess why they would want that.
I mean he knew that his own behaviour was because he wanted to get strong and find a way home. Otherwise, he would have never attended Autumnfall in the first place. Because they had not attended The Opening Ceremony or joined The Game. He thought they each attended Autumnfall a different reason and would probably pick the safest route in each event, not confronting it directly.
I mean they didn’t even join the safest event which was The Game (aside from Rondo and Jin) so it was a little perplexing to him.
“Hi Linri!” said Kou once she saw him walk up the stairs.
“Hello,” said Fosse
“Praise the sun!” saluted Rondo.
“What the fuck is going on here?” Linri said as he squinted his eyes.
“Glad your sense of humour hasn’t changed at all,” said Fosse looking towards him crimson eyes. Did that bastard awaken the sealed vampire bloodline inside him?
“Fosse, isn’t there a whole troupe of vampires and werewolves hating each other? I wonder if it applies to us as well since you are a part vampire and I am part werewolf” said Linri as his pupils turned into slits.
“Stop, stop what’s going on in here?” said Rina as she held back Linri who seemed like he was about to lose his control.
“Nothing concerning you. I just noticed how Fosse did something stupid and that made me angry”
“Stupid?” said Kou. She could not understand what Linri was talking about.
“*Sigh* Don’t you remember Fosse’s introduction? He has a vampire slayer master and that person should be coming here to hunt him down now. Of course, when the master arrives we are gonna have to help him. Couldn’t you have just stayed blind you bastard?”

[1.5 x Above-average Physical Recovery]
Primary Ability: [Demonic Vampirism]
Fosse has become a Vampire, and with it, some merits and flaws along with all of the Vampiric tendencies that go with it. Fosse now needs blood to live but it can be given to him in any way that enters his body. Although the most potent way is through his mouth, Fosse is also generally weaker in direct sunlight as if he is exhausted although his stamina will be at 100%. He is simply tired when under direct sunlight. The status effect of direct sunlight applies when any part of his skin is under the harmful effects of the sun. A window blocking the sun stops this effect. Artificial sunlight does not work unless stated otherwise. When it is night time all of Fosse’s blood abilities are strengthened by a small margin. Fosse has natural night vision as well as improved an improved sense of smell. Immune to natural diseases and virus’ such as the common cold because of his vampiric nature.
Skills:
Blood: Passive; His natural Vampiric abilities allow him manipulation over blood and in turn he does not use prana and health but instead uses a ‘Blood’ attribute which is the combination of both. It powers the vampire but also judges the vampire’s state of mind and general health. Just as health is worth 3 and Prana is worth 2 ‘Blood’ will be worth 5 since it is utilizing both not in an additive sense. Being a vampire of blood allows him access to its properties and instil his prana inside of it in order to establish a connection and use it to his will which is how the blood is controlled. Blood cannot be restored by normal naturally like prana. He must get it from some kind of source. It can be through his abilities or someone ‘donating’ their own to him. Blood is generated from his body to be used for his other skills. His blood is the status of his physical health as well and once it’s gone he is incapacitated and will need 50 blood to return to consciousness. Blood coming from Fosse is surprisingly sweet if it ever landed in an unlucky souls mouth. Blood is a part of the Vampire and therefore does not cause any additional harm. Being harmed does lower this amount just like how health works. If he is using blood far away from him it takes him slightly longer to make a connection with it
Blood Manipulation: Blood can be manipulated into different constructs and weapons at will. He can only control blood that’s within 5 meters of him. He cannot control another person’s blood unless he’s touching an open wound or the blood is outside the body. He wouldn’t be able to move people irregularly or kill them from the inside out. He can, however, stop someone from bleeding out and regulate blood flow for as long as he’s touching them. He can harden and sharpen his blood at will. He can create agile and balanced weapons with his ability as well. Larger constructs will cost more blood than smaller ones. Weapons can be made within a second while larger things can take longer to make. He can use hardened blood as a projectile but it will only work in his 5-meter radius. Fosse can control the blood within himself at will as well just as well as he can on the outside. This prevents bleeding that might happen to Fosse. Fosse can also use detached blood such as stray blood that is on the ground as long as it’s in his 5-meter radius. Fosse can use blood that’s coming out of a person as long as he is not directly stealing the blood from their body. Sustaining any weapon or construct does not cost any blood however moving with blood manipulation does.
Demon Blood Bullet: Fosse can send a blood bullet outwards towards an enemy. The blood bullet moves at [3x Superior Speed] and deals [1.5x Above-average Strength] of damage. It is solidified and will act as a bullet. This does overwrite his 5-meter radius control. The bullet applies dark elemental damage on hit.
Blood Absorption: Each blood attack Fosse lands will drain 25% of the individual attack’s damage, giving it to him in the form of Blood. If he deals 10 damage then he would regain 2.5 of it back. The blood transfer with each strike is instant. If his opponent does not have blood then the effects are nullified. If his attack does not connect to the skin then he cannot absorb. Fosse’s body passively prevents him from taking blood from incapacitated people because of his vampiric blood finds such actions below him.
Alluring Gaze: Fosse’s eyes also have a small charm placed on them. It gives no hypnotic effects but people may find themselves drawn to them if they are not careful. Those with ‘average’ willpower could very well become addicted if they stare at them for too long. Simply looking away could break the effects…but possibly not the addiction.

Reading the ability’s name gave Linri a creepy feeling. Not in a scary kind of creepy but the kind where you are overlooking something very important kind of creepy. That’s when he had an idea about what it might be implying.
“Hey, you blind bastard! Don’t tell me having your master hunting our ass is not enough and you want to involve Church of the Sun as well!?”
“Maybe”
“What’s he talking about?” Rondo asked after frowning. He was after all a paladin in training. Even though he wasn’t exactly loyal to them just yet but the curch held an important place in his heart.
“Don’t worry, it’s not something that important. He is exaggerating as always” Fosse said with a crafty smile.
As Linri expected, nothing good can come from people dealing with the demons. However, it would be a lie to say he wasn’t impressed by his decision. It was just that he and Linri were walking opposite paths. His allegiance leaned mostly towards ancient deities while Fosse seemed to lean towards hell.
